The NAF should relentlessly rain fire on all those Ijaw Militant still holed up, hiding in the mangrove Creeks of Lagos and Ogun state till they are completely obliterated |
Good. The tempo should be sustained. Operation Awatse should continue till all our Creeks and Waterways in the South West is free from the criminal activities of the Ijaw Militants |
SuperS1Panther:They are cowards indeed. Now that the heat is on them in Arepo, they are now fleeing to Tongeji Island. Tongeji is an Oil rich border Island separating Benin Republic from Ipokia in Ogun and Badagry in Lagos. The criminality of the Ijaw Militants in that coastal community has been ongoing for sometime now, but on a low key. The Ijaw Militants will be flushed out from that place also. There is no hiding place for them anywhere in the South West |
After suffering devastating and debilitating defeats in the hands of the Nigerian Armed Forces and Local Vigilants in the Arepo and Ikorodu axis, the Ijaw Militants are now fleeing to Tongeji Island - Ogun and Snake Island - Lagos, but there, shall they also meet their doom. The South West is not and will never be a safe haven for militancy. The Ijaw Militants can relish in their reign of terror, unabated, in the Niger Delta but not in the South West. We do not harbour and glorify criminals and militants here |
Alhaji Aliko Dangote, I see you Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, I see you President Faure Gnassingbe son of fomer President Gnassingbe Eyadema, you are welcome to Lagos state, the commercial capital of West Africa. Lagos nay the entire Yorubaland is the number one choice destination for investors. A testament to this fact is the location of more than half of all the HQ of the multinatinal companies and industries in Nigeria within Lagos and Ogun state. Militants, vandals, terrorists armed robbers and other undesirable elements can find there way somewhere else, far away from the Yoruba West. We do not harbour and glorify criminals here. Faure Gnassingbe, once again, you are welcome to Lagos the center of excellence. Itesiwaju Eko lo jewa logun |
The Ijaw Militants would meet their waterloo in Ondo. The same fate that befell them in Lagos and Ogun would also befall them in Ondo. Yorubaland is not a safe haven for Militancy and Criminality. Those of them that are still holed up, hiding in the mangrove creeks of Lagos and Ogun would be smoked out eventually. The Nigerian Armed Forces and Local Vigilantes will pound the Ijaw Militants like pounded yam |

Good |
The end has come for the Ijaw Militants |
onatisi:So the Government should have sat down without doing nothing while the ijaw militants were busy killing people. And for your info, it was General Gabriel Olonishakin that gave the directive for Operation Awatse. The ijaw militants will all meet their waterloo in Yorubaland |
We all know that Adeyinka Grandson is an unstable character. why his he spewing sh!t from the UK? Why not from the field of operation. His write up is meant to satisfy the appetitie of the ipod yoot. The only people that are being killed in the south west are the ijaw militant and they righfully deserve so. |
Pavarottii:There is no point exchanging words with you 'cos it is obvious that you are a novice. Just take a trip to the Owutu Police and see the number of the Ijaw Militants that have been arrested and detained so far |
Pavarottii:Because they are Ijaw Militants. Their identity is not in question. Locals know them |
It is a last kick of a dying horse. Right about now, the Ijaw Militants are also engaging the Armed Forces in a heavy gun fight in the creeks of Arepo and Ibafo, but the Ijaw Militants would eventually submit to the superior fire power of the Armed Forces. The next few days will be very crucial and decisive. All these shall pass and sanity shall return to our land. |
Generalkorex:If your house is close to the field of operation, just lay down flat and stay very far away from the window anytime you hear the sound of gun fire and explosion. The Armed Forces have broken the resistance of the Ijaw Militants. They are now battling the Ijaw Militants right in their stronghold inside the creeks |
LMAyedun:I Concur |

SITREP ''ijaw militants are currently pouring in reinforcement from the Niger Delta to the SouthWest. I suggest that the Navy effect a Naval Blockade on all our waterways in Lagos, Ogun and Ondo during the period of this operation'' SOURCE: Femi Olarinde |
The Chinese are also about to commence the construction of two floating Gas facility at Igbesa, Ogun state |
Nice |
The Special Forces are the elite fighting unit in a national army. In the United States, the Delta Force, Rangers, Green Berets etc are the Special Forces in the US Army. It is exciting to know that we have our own Special Forces in Nigeria too. |
YourNemesis:With the Sitrep available to us, they have been no case of collateral damage so far. The news about the 114 Militant killed is not from a credible source, so take it with a pinch of salt. Military authorities cannot ascertain the number of militant killed yet |
agabusta:you dey mind dat ipod yoot. Most of them have been in excruciating pain since news report started emanating about how our gallant armed forces are pounding the militants like pounded yam |
The South West is not and will never be a safe haven for the Ijaw Militants. The Ijaw Militants can relish in their reign of terror, unabated in the Niger Delta, but not in the SouthWest. Kudos to the Armed Forces and Local Vigilanted for smoking these Ijaw Militants that have been terrorising residents in the riverine communities of Lagos and Ogun state. It is time to make our Creeks and Waterways in the SouthWest safe again, free from the Ijaw militants. |

modath:Well said o jare my sister. We are all in support of self determination, resource control, regionalism and all those sound bites. But what has self determination got to do with militancy, piracy, vandalism, armed robbery, kidnapping and all other criminal activities the militants are known for. I cannot tell you how elated I am about the current military campaign against the ijaw militants in Lagos and Ogun. I learnt directives came from General Olonishakin himself, the Chief of Defence staff. You know he is the only five star General in the Nigerian Army today and he is also from the South West. He wouldnt suffer any militant gladly in his own region. I also learnt that local vigilantes collaborated with security personnels in the operation. Those who sympathize with the criminals would become open target for the army. When the military campaign against them start, I hope they wont cry about genocide, human right and all those jargon. |
Good news for Yorubaland and those that love her. Bad news for the ijaw militants and their sympathisers. The bitter end has come for all the ijaw militants that have been terrorising residents in the riverine communities of Lagos and Ogun state. Operation Awatse in full swing. Local vigilantes collaborated with the Army, Airforce, Navy and Police(RRS) in this particular mission. The Airforce fighter jets bombarded one of the camp base of the Ijaw mitiants at a creek area in Fatola, Arepo, Ogun state; killing scores of the ijaw militants while other elements of the Armed Forces overpowered their fleeing ruins. One by one, We will destroy all their camps; we will apprehend their ring leaders; we will get rid of their foot soldiers; and once again our creeks and waterways would be safe and peaceful, free from the ijaw militants |
modath:Point of correction; Operation Crocodile Smiles is not a Combat Operation, it is a training(simulation) exercise. |
