of which a large chunk of the forwarded messages were generic rules out there like don't mix characters and numbers together, searching google with the domain keywords. The only unique info was the ED filter-like filters, seriously...............................................

Don't get me wrong! The length of an info can be less than half a page, but once a guarantee is made that it would deliver results, then it is worth the price tag placed on it.
Even despite his promises and quoted statement "Domaining is easy, only if you know what you I doing," I still lowered my expectations, fought hard, but it seemed as though I was just tryna catch the air with my hands.

You are way way better off reading through the thread and consulting with persons like this op who is real with you.

Iyke, to be fair, you should not be picking names for people to avoid issues like this because we all are not so sure of what will sell. I do not do it because even a good name might take years before they are sold. MKAM.com was sold by AbdulBasit and according to him, it took him 8 years to have it sold.

For goodness sake, would any of you seasoned domainers pick a geo-domain whose populace is less 70,000. Not just that, would you pick a name whose extension isn't preferred by the citizens.

You said he should ask for a refund if he doesn't get any results after 32 days.. that was your word.

Give him part of his payment if you can't give all, and try removing that "REFUND" in your website when making a promise.




As usual I don't expect to see anyone supporting the guy on refund smh...

On the 20th december of 2019, after expressing how unexpected my first registered domain experience was during our chats, Iyepromotions, Ikenna Obi, you wrote that you would offer a full refund if I don't get a sale within 32 day of registering 4 geo domains- I DARE YOU TO DENY IT.

I went beyond the 4 domains, I did 5 domains,. I outbounded to over 1000 mails. Well exceeded the 32 days as I wanted even a negotiating response, but got none. So what was my gain? In this tough moment I am currently in, I should throw-away a little over #22,000 without any result.


Regardless of the outcome- despite following your guaranteed instructions, I still take personal responsibility over registering the domains myself. So why can't you as like a leader hold yourself to account and stick to your words like you said in the chat?

Use the free Google Keyword Planner tool to find out if the domain keyword has monthly search volume at all. You can then take a screenshot of the excel spreadsheet and send to him. Period! You can always use this method to learn if there is monthly search volume at all for any keyword you want to register as a domain name.

May I add that the keyword planner is no longer free again; in that you need a google adword acc to use the tool.

First, buying the right domain name is key. There is no way to go around it. If you have the best mousetrap, the world will bit a path to your doorstep. Imagine I have a building to sell in the heart of Ikeja, Lagos state, will it take me years to find buyers? No! But to sell a house in the village where I live, they will laugh at you because some people are moving away to urban areas.

Number two, if you sincerely believe in your domain name because you saw a good online business idea for it, why not develop it into a business? Let your potential buyers see it as a business they can take up from a level of making money online and not as work. Asking people to buy empty domain names is like going to Computer Village, Ikeja and telling people how much they have in their wallets and how much they can give you from it. Except someone is led in the spirit to give you, dry season and raining season (i.e. domain name renewal palaver) will meet you without anybody giving you a dime. This is why guys and gals here talk so much about grace, grace and grace.

This is why I focus more on keyword, product or service domain names more than geographical domains. Build a simple website and create a blog on a domain and sell. Although turnkey websites are no longer as popular as before, you can still make profits from it. But if you are ambitious, you can turn a website to $50,000 sale. I have an ebook from another author for this system and after reading it, I said Whaoh! I am working on that myself; it is just that there is only 24 hours in a day!

I am not a website designer myself so don't say you cannot build a website or it costs money to hire a freelance web designer. Use self-hosted WordPress. Bought a domain and put it up for sale, due to school work and other stuff I didn't follow up progress on the domain sales only to find out this morning while checking my old mails that afternic sent me a mail since September last year that someone paid $400 for the domain.... checking my afternic dashboard right now, there's no sign that any money was paid. I guess the buyer has been refunded his money.....

Dude you're funny. Right after going through the hurdles to buying a domain, you were so busy that you couldn't spare at most 5mins to go through your email in a day (or at worst, a week)- It's one of those crazy stuffs we're guilty of. Get in touch with the buyer, possibly through his/her contact which afternic may grant you access to see-not so sure; but you could try.
