viktor88: Take it easy domain business is a game of patience, the info that will hope beginner that I barely see is that most domainers sell less than 10 percentage of their domain yearly. You have to build a portfolio first while you do that do massive outbound, if you can track your mail or test and see that it doesn't enter spam instead inbox. Deepest instructional counsel. Thanks a bunch. Do you know how I could go about tracking mails sent? |

Chronicgenius: Bro,did u also attend iyke's class...was planning on doing so....seems this DOMAINING isn't as it was Bro, I did and it was a pure waste of the whole funds invested and my time. Jeez, where do I start from? Is it the forwarded whatsapp messages that when added together is less than 3 pages (I'm just tryna say on the side of caution by saying 3 pages); of which a large chunk of the forwarded messages were generic rules out there like don't mix characters and numbers together, searching google with the domain keywords. The only unique info was the ED filter-like filters, seriously............................................... Don't get me wrong! The length of an info can be less than half a page, but once a guarantee is made that it would deliver results, then it is worth the price tag placed on it. Even despite his promises and quoted statement "Domaining is easy, only if you know what you I doing," I still lowered my expectations, fought hard, but it seemed as though I was just tryna catch the air with my hands. You are way way better off reading through the thread and consulting with persons like this op who is real with you. |

Yesterday i did outbound of more than 20 emails + social medias of those i could get their handle... Only one has replied so far, saying they are not interested whitewalker673: lol at least them don reply you my own done reach up to 70 contacts no single reply since last year It has been a heck of an exhausting experience to be honest, I am crushed, over 1000 mails, no single sale- is it how the year would be for me? At least, you guys didn't waste your money in a so called deceitful gimmicky by iykepromotions, unlike the op 2sexy who has shown great empathy by saying things the way they are. |
Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by ajog1: 11:24pm On Feb 11, 2020 |
2sexycom: @ajog1 and iykepromotions
I think you guys should take things easy.
I have read your comment ajog1 and I know where the problem is coming from.
Iyke, to be fair, you should not be picking names for people to avoid issues like this because we all are not so sure of what will sell. I do not do it because even a good name might take years before they are sold. MKAM.com was sold by AbdulBasit and according to him, it took him 8 years to have it sold.
Your reaction is surprising to me and I will have to ask ajog1 if he insulted you I cannot insult people, both small or old- not in my nature and upbringing. Can't even jovially yab someone sef. Since my stay on this forum, I can't remember all the kind of words I have thrown around here, but I have never used an insulting word. ikhalyfah: EXACTLY. The problem all arose from the "refund" part and lack of patience (no offense meant) from the other side. I bet most of us don't make sale within the specified 32days grace oga iykepromotion stated but then, we don't go back seeking for refund. After over 60 days of not seeing even a response to show that one is making progress, was I not patient to some extent? The iss I have with you and the likes who are quite to mete out judgement is that you are all pushing me to go further down the path of fault-finding; which isn't neccessary. He should just show refund me... If only he added the previous dissing comments he made, then you'd have seen why I asked for the refund. |
Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by ajog1: 7:04pm On Feb 11, 2020*. Modified: 7:33pm On Feb 11, 2020 |
My gentle nature tends to avoid agruements (my moniker proves that), but at some point even the most loyal dog will bark when disrespected and pushed to the wall. This whole fault-finding isn't supposed to be. All you needed to do was respect your words- but since you have gone down this path, so be it. Guy, before making the full payment, I literally begged (as though I wanted a freebie) to be shown me what's working, what do I get over two months after the very very frustrating experience,? Does this in any way tally with what you earlier said iykepromotions: I noticed that some newbies here sounding pained and disrespectful are yet to make a sale. Then Re-strategize. Read more even outside this thread or possibly get a mentor, not necessarily me but get a person with PROOF of earnings to avoid wasting of money and time. And then be obedient and ready to learn.
Some comments are better left unanswered. I do that most times when I see your matter is not relevant at all. @ AYORICH, take note. Your constant use of the word ungrateful leaves me with questions. Tranxo, you may have forgotten the last genuine question you once asked me? tranxo: When did you discover you had very few leads for the name - before or after you bought it? Yes , it was the second name I was given. Here it's torquayroofing.com For goodness sake, would any of you seasoned domainers pick a geo-domain whose populace is less 70,000. Not just that, would you pick a name whose extension isn't preferred by the citizens. I mean, he clearly said so in his quote iykepromotions: Lol. Will this be my first whatsapp sale? The domain competitors is mainly UK based. Contacted one via Whatsapp before buying the domain, main reason as you may know is that they prefer their own extention. But he showed interest and asked me how much? I quickly rushed and registered it, set up a landing page and quoted $1,200, negotiable. According to him, the CEO will be back in two days time to finalize the deal. I hope everything works out fine.
The domain in particular is the same as their's, just extention difference. Yet in a supposed mentorship class, that was the domain he gave me to register ASAP. The first one he dropped was Tampametalroof.com; but it was picked before I could register it. After sending my crafted sales mail to over 250 email (one at atime), it took Tranxo's series of deep feedback (which I got for FREE) to my question in here to know that the name was miss. So tell me, should I be for grateful that? Or should I grateful that in late 2019- October to be precise, you still forwarded notes on "PARKING OF DOMAINS!!" to my box. For goodness sake, I begged to be shown what would give me results- not to be shown outdated info that don't work, or not worth the effort. I had to be schooled on this thread and via other means that parking was dead or worth the effort- thanks coach for teaching me. Or is it how to type keywords into google search I should thank you for? Oh, thank you. SO Please, tell me what exactly I should be grateful for? onwubiko: My advice is don't make promises you can't keep... he is right to ask for a refund you know, so don't blame him..
You said he should ask for a refund if he doesn't get any results after 32 days.. that was your word.
Give him part of his payment if you can't give all, and try removing that "REFUND" in your website when making a promise.
As usual I don't expect to see anyone supporting the guy on refund smh... Veteran ni veteran ko On the 20th december of 2019, after expressing how unexpected my first registered domain experience was during our chats, Iyepromotions, Ikenna Obi, you wrote that you would offer a full refund if I don't get a sale within 32 day of registering 4 geo domains- I DARE YOU TO DENY IT. I went beyond the 4 domains, I did 5 domains,. I outbounded to over 1000 mails. Well exceeded the 32 days as I wanted even a negotiating response, but got none. So what was my gain? In this tough moment I am currently in, I should throw-away a little over #22,000 without any result. Regardless of the outcome- despite following your guaranteed instructions, I still take personal responsibility over registering the domains myself. So why can't you as like a leader hold yourself to account and stick to your words like you said in the chat? tranxo: E be like say some people think say na magic we dey do here. Okay na. Easy boss. Don't make light of the super-tremendous value you have offered here. IeatPussy: So because you haven't sell any domain after Ur tutorial means that Iykepromotions should refund you for the teachings he took his time. Maybe all of us should go back to our Dear Universities and make them refund us back our school fees and all the expense we did while in school because i'm not even eating with my certificate today. My school didn't offer me any guarantee when I was offered admission, infact it was a provisional admission. That's the difference. |
Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by ajog1: 6:00pm On Feb 10, 2020 |
Iykepromotions, I will stay on the path of self-restraint by stating here that you refund my money; no need spilling out all that transpired - just do the right thing.
There would have been no need to call you out on this public space, if you hadn't blocked me on whatsapp and held to your guarantee (both on your site and during a chat.) You can still stand by your promise by refunding my money.
We live in times where we are all connected no matter how it may seem as though we are far. Don't give the wrong impression of trying to deceive another . I have so far chosen my words very carefully. |

IdeasPro: It's free my friend. Go and sign up. Follow the sign up process and Google will only bill you $1 to verify that you own the debit card you entered in the billing info stage.
The money will be refunded to your account later anyway. As soon as you have been approved, you can now use the tool on your dashboard. But remember to pause any advert you have created during your sign up process so that you won't be billed at the end of the month. Woah, I never knew of the bolded oh. quite revealing bro. IdeasPro: Use the free Google Keyword Planner tool to find out if the domain keyword has monthly search volume at all. You can then take a screenshot of the excel spreadsheet and send to him. Period! If you don't know how to use Google Keyword Planner tool, you can get my free ebook download from the link below.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/14RDRdIgwNQRuKIY2owbeN0eaz4t1_X8A/view?usp=sharing
You can always use this method to learn if there is monthly search volume at all for any keyword you want to register as a domain name. May I add that the keyword planner is no longer free again; in that you need a google adword acc to use the tool. |

IdeasPro: First, buying the right domain name is key. There is no way to go around it. If you have the best mousetrap, the world will bit a path to your doorstep. Imagine I have a building to sell in the heart of Ikeja, Lagos state, will it take me years to find buyers? No! But to sell a house in the village where I live, they will laugh at you because some people are moving away to urban areas.
Number two, if you sincerely believe in your domain name because you saw a good online business idea for it, why not develop it into a business? Let your potential buyers see it as a business they can take up from a level of making money online and not as work. Asking people to buy empty domain names is like going to Computer Village, Ikeja and telling people how much they have in their wallets and how much they can give you from it. Except someone is led in the spirit to give you, dry season and raining season (i.e. domain name renewal palaver) will meet you without anybody giving you a dime. This is why guys and gals here talk so much about grace, grace and grace.
This is why I focus more on keyword, product or service domain names more than geographical domains. Build a simple website and create a blog on a domain and sell. Although turnkey websites are no longer as popular as before, you can still make profits from it. But if you are ambitious, you can turn a website to $50,000 sale. I have an ebook from another author for this system and after reading it, I said Whaoh! I am working on that myself; it is just that there is only 24 hours in a day!
I am not a website designer myself so don't say you cannot build a website or it costs money to hire a freelance web designer. Use self-hosted WordPress. You can bootstrap online business tools and resources for your first and second websites. Save money from it and start building premium blogs and websites. Online business ideas are everywhere on the web. Go to Flippa.com and learn more.
To be frank with you, there is so much one can give away on a thread like this. And I don't have the time to write an e-book detailed enough to explain the steps involved. Otherwise, my brick-and-mortar businesses will suffer. But as we go things will begin to unfold. Well, this is so deep. Thanks sire. Those bolded words couldn't be any more true sire. Haa, I am just tryna get just a sale. |

Soneh: Please guys, is there anything I can do about this. I decided to try my hands in the domain flipping business. Bought a domain and put it up for sale, due to school work and other stuff I didn't follow up progress on the domain sales only to find out this morning while checking my old mails that afternic sent me a mail since September last year that someone paid $400 for the domain.... checking my afternic dashboard right now, there's no sign that any money was paid. I guess the buyer has been refunded his money..... Dude you're funny. Right after going through the hurdles to buying a domain, you were so busy that you couldn't spare at most 5mins to go through your email in a day (or at worst, a week)- It's one of those crazy stuffs we're guilty of. Get in touch with the buyer, possibly through his/her contact which afternic may grant you access to see-not so sure; but you could try. |
