Paracetamol is fine during pregnancy but not too much but you can still contact your doctor in the interim to tell him your symptoms
Thank you. I took it and feel so much better

Happy Sunday Mamas!

Please I have been having this persistent headache since last night although mild, it’s still uncomfortable. Is this normal during second trimester or could it be a sign of malaria? Can I take paracetamol? I’m hardly ever sick or take drugs so it’s hard for me to tell these things.
Thank you in advance for your responses.

for my first I used Health center Badore for anti natal then moved to island maternity towards the end cos I wanted CS.
They are good there.

Dunno about private
I am not a private hospital fan
I like where there are different opinions and not one doctor
Thanks a lot. I’ll check out Health Center Badore, I don’t intend to stat till the end either.

Thank you all for your kind words, I am putting myself together piece by piece and saving up gradually. Still at the house because of my baby. I will wait it out, but am planning my exit. I won't do anything that will land me in trouble because of my baby. Learning to be selfish too.
Sending love and light your way❤️

Okay, so I’m also on my application and Brazil is not seeking birth tourists, infact they are not allowing pregnant women in from the look of things. The tour company I’m using specifically told me that I may be invited for physical examination by the embassy for them to be sure I’m not pregnant and my application is even non appearance.

So Logachev, that MAY be what the interview is about but normally, it’s women they invite. If your wife is not showing yet, you are good.

Hey Ajokeomo,

I pray for God’s guidance in making your application successful.

First of all note that, your immigration status doesn’t affect your baby’s nationality in any way. So wether you overstay your visa or not, so far as your baby is born in Brazil, he or she is Brazilian.

Secondly, most Brazilian visas are extendable in Brazil except those who have visa free entry to Brazil. Unless your visa explicitly states that it cannot be extended, you can easily extend it in Brazil.

Even if it states that it cannot be extended, you can still overstay and pay the overstay penalty of Rs 100 ($25) per day for a maximum of 100 days.

My advice will be not to worry. The most important thing is to get in. Even if you have a 2 day visa, it is still possible to stay and give birth.
Amen. Thank you so much, you have been a blessing. God bless you too.

Hello Adjo10,

Thank you for your support on this thread so far, God bless you. I am planning to do my application this month, I know that they typically grant 90 days visa for which you can extend your stay for another 90 days but I’ve seen them grant some people just 30 days starting from date of issue. I’m hoping that is not the case for me because I want to be able to stay and get my antenatal care till my baby comes in Nov. My question is if granted 30 days Visa, can I still stay foy for that long? Is there a possibility of visa renewal while there? Thank you.
