you need to learn history. Islam came to Somalia via trade. Somali nomadic lifestyle is similar to arab lifestyle of living in the desert, so it fit well with our culture. No islamic army ever came to Somalia to fight us, intact quite the opposite. The only military ever sent to Somalia was by the Ottoman empire to help us fight against the Portugese and their Ethiopian allies who were both Christian.

The first hijra was to Ethiopia (what is now northern Somalia). The city of zeila (northern Somalia) was a sanctuary to the prophets companions who were being persecuted.
