Chizzyvivian: My school actually sent me a mail on 22nd June saying they saw immigration issue visa non grant BUT viriation states INVALID. They requested a proof before they could defer to Sept 2022 intake. I sent them the mail sent from home affairs requesting a Medical check, biometric and updated CoE. Have been given CoE, Biometrics done 23rd June and Medical 6tg July for the 2nd time. I don't just understand anymore. In that case, just be patient and wait for immigration decision, bear in min Australia visa processing takes much time and efforts and often requires patients . |

Chizzyvivian: Good day everyone,
Please I really need you opinion and impute. Based on my initial message, my agent forwarded a mail from home affairs which requested for the 2nd time I go for medicals, biometrics and also requested for an updated CoE. The first was in 2020. Biometrics was done 24th June 2022, Medicals 6th July 2022. Till now I have not gotten any decision on my Visa. I'm thinking of putting a call across to them myself as the student. Please would I need to get any document ready before calling them? What questions would they ask me. Please I really need ur impute ASAP.
Thank you It's not easy to tell but in my experience if the status shows FINALISED it's either granted or refused, meaning the first one must have been refused and this should be the second application . If you reapplied in June/July, then you still need to wait and processing could take 3 moths |

Sultannayef: Did he add you as wife/partner when he applied for the initial visa from Nigeria even though you were not going with him? Is your husband a postgraduate student? Did he met the financial and health requirements for the dependents? If the answers are right, you will get the visa in no distant time. If not, there would be more delay. In my case I was the sponsor and everything including POF was from me, on initial application I was included together with the children . It was undergraduate |

Light21: AKASBABA1 are you serious? My husband is on student visa but he changed school so he applied to extend his visa when it was about to expire which he included our son and I and is going to be 5 months by 10th of this month since we submitted visa application and we haven't been given visa. We are really worried and he used a very good lawyer there in Australia Mine was processed onshore, again it depends on his previous application, financial status etc. In my experience, student dependant take lesser time to process. Permit me to add that my first Assie visa took 4 months to process, I'll assume the delay is due to the normal processing of visa and other background checks. |

NICOSIA: I am a prospective student(doctor) at Melbourne going to study MPH . I want to ask what’s my chance of getting PR in Melbourne after my studies? Its a lengthy process https://www.health.gov.au/initiatives-and-programs/doctorconnect/how-to-practise-medicine-in-australia/becoming-a-permanent-residentMigrating successfully to Australia as a doctor requires you to have an in-depth understanding of the medical registration and application processes . To get an Australian PR, you need to follow the three key steps such as: You need to obtain a successful skills assessment You are required to register yourself with the Australian Medical Board (AMB) You need a Visa pathway to apply for Australian PR In order to get yourself registered with the AMB (Australia Medical Board) you need to have a valid job offer till the time you become successful in getting registration as a specialist. It doesn’t depend on how many years of experience you have as a doctor in Nigeria or your current base. Your initial registration in Australia will be either limited or provisional. It means that you need to work in Australia for 12 months if you want to gain a general registration. Moving to Australia is one journey Getting A PR is another Journey . I don't recommend mixing both as it end in wild-goose chase |

Rhodsho: Please house, I want to ask if it’s necessary for me to do the COVID test in Nigeria before traveling to Sydney .I will be transiting through Doha (Qatar). People entering Australia do not need to provide evidence of vaccination status People entering Australia do not need to complete the Digital Passenger Declaration or Maritime Travel Declaration People leaving Australia will not be asked to provide evidence of their vaccination status Unvaccinated visa holders do not need a travel exemption to travel to Australia Masks are still required on flights travelling to Australia. It is important to remember that airlines, vessel operators and other countries may have specific requirements that travellers need to comply with. https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/covid19/entering-and-leaving-australia |

kehinde91: Hello, what if i want to defer my admission from July to February because of the delay in the approval of my visa and i also need to get a new COE. pls do i need to inform the immigration ? You do not need to inform Immigration , you only need to replace your COE with the new COE from the school after . While your deferment is processing, you do not need to contact immigration , you only need to update your application with the new COE Bear in mind that deferment takes weeks or months depending on the University |

Form A is the cheapest but very slow, might take 3 weeks to 2 months plus and usually after payment, the school needs about a week to get confirmation . If you have someone in Australia and they pay for you, usually its same they and maximum of 3days to 1 week you'll get your COE.
If you have time, use the Form A but if you have less time use the alternative.
NOTE : Form A uses the official rate while the alternatives are usually black market rate |

I've help few students but I currently don't enough to help You can fund a credit card in Dollar using the black market rate. I understand the frustration but the easiest and cheapest way to pay for the tuition fees is through FORM A. |

My bank is requesting for my sponsors bank statement to be stamped. She provided electronic bank statements with her name and bank logo and everything else.
