seriously PC gaming is a different beast however my interest in getting such rig is for Emulation so i can play all my PS2 games, PS2 emulation needs much more for a low spec system so the GTX 970 maybe be handy and i won't even recommend an AMD GPU unless they support the Vulkan API

if it ain't Nvidia or AMD then it's pointless. though Intel have stable drivers but never on par with those two, AMD is the worst especially when it comes to OpenGL

You should see the game Shank running on my laptop, performs flawlessly. That's why i said it will depend on the game and laptop specs.
We all know it's not ideal but if that's all one's got, then what? forget about gaming?

NB..AMD make much stronger integrated GPU's than intel..FACT!

It'll depend on what kind of games your enjoy playing and the specs of your laptop. Knowing it doesn't have a fan means you can't really push it hard. My Asus laptop has a fan but with it poorly engineered heatsink and fan it still throttles once it hits 85C..

I bought my missus MKX now shes easily ranked top 5 in UK with Kitana. Fear no let me to play am again na excuse after excuse. Sore thumb, eye ache, headache, hunger. Ive improved thinking quickly for an excuse. I can't recycle the ones Ive used before. Glad she games though..less nagging for me!

Guess that explains why BF1 isn't cracked yet. ROTTR took 6-7 months and BF1 will probs come with an updated anti-crack technique so no hope for BF1 soon.

The campaign has been immersive and convincing so far. if one's got unlimited data then it won't make a difference, I guess. It will come tho...no doubt, no be PC? lol

Lol...this game only has 6-7 hours of campaign. IMO waste of data (50GB+). This game favors online MP more than campaign so a must buy. Got mine already

Sounds like it starts to throttle due to overheating. CPU's/GPU's do this. When they approach their rated operating temperature limit, the clock speeds drop to reduce heat; affects performance. For laptops used for gaming with inadequate heat dissipation, this is almost inevitable.

That 970 would not last long

The GTX 1070 gives same performance as the titan X (maxwell) in new titles. Titan X (Pascal) cost £1200..be my guest. Even the GTX 1060 gives the GTX 970 a run for it's money

Anybody seen the new microsoft surface studio, its awesome! What i like most is hardware design and the monitor which resolution i heard is 16% higher than 4k! The gpu is quite ok for both versions, nvidia geforce 980m for the 32gbram 2tb version. I'm not sure from what i can see parts are upgradeable cos d design made everythin integrated.what do u guys think of it as a gaming pc. U can google for d full specs though.

Ignoring the $21 price difference to RX 470 4G, the GTx 1060 3G score a much more respectable frames compared to 470 @$179. I think GTX 1060 worth it @$200

The GTX1060's competition is the RX480 however the GTX 1060's 3GB variant will hit the limit of it's VRAM to max 1080p but the RX470 comes with 4GB VRAM a much better buffer.

Stay away if you don't have at least a wheel setup...

It allows the use of a controller too PS3/PS4/XB360/XB1?Generic.. my advice though will be use the analogue thumbs sticks as that'll give a finer control for steering and feathering the throttle/brakes.
You'll find that players have set impressive lap times with a controller, it's practice.
