hi everyone, my longest relationship lasted for 8 years. we were engaged to be married, but i left Nigeria for the UK to do my masters and 6 months later, found out she was dating someone else. the reason why people stay this long in relationship boils down to the fact that both people find comfort and solice in each other and they just cant be bothered with going out to look for anything or anyone else when to them they have all they want right there within reach, like people would say ' wetin dey for sokoto dey for shokoto', or something like that. |
hi y'all my opinion on this matter is that there is really no 'perfect' place to find true love. meeting someone online is almost the same thing as u meeting the person on the street, the train or in a bar. if the both of you are meant for each other, then just like a match-stick being struck against the side of a match-box, there will surely be sparks, and again it all has to do with the heart, unlike the brain, the heart does things that one cannot sometimes understand. i have met and fallen in love with someone i met online, and it was beutiful while it lasted.( had to part ways for reasons best known to me) True love has and knows no barriers, ![]() |
the issue is that when they start making some money, it becomes very difficult to submit to any potential husband cos afterall, what is he gonna offer that she doesnt already have? They develop this mentality while waiting for mr knight in shining armour who never arrives to their rescue. When women in the upper class learn to stop snubbing men and accept that no matter how much she has, a man is still superior in the eyes of our tradition, until then, there shall be no respect and men shall continue to avoid them, leaving them to be rich and successful spinsters even on the brink of expiration. Afterall, no man will accept a woman who will rule over him ![]() |
