Krlana, thanks, all custom restore on the phone and works well,but the fact it if i try to install baseband,i still av to use stock ,when i use snowbreeze to create custom with baseband and try to restore on itune ,it didn't restore,still got stock on error (-1). And even when i use stock to install baseband after restoring with a custom fw, baseband won't install.its good that i start this coz many people might still experience same issue later.

tumababa: Just remembered this. Since it is 3GS, download stock ios 4.1(u dont need to av shsh for 4.1 to downgrade to it). Enter dfu mode (not pwned dfu!!). Restore to 4.1. If it stops at error 1013, use Tinyumbrella to kick out of recovery mode. If it comes up, check if d wifi bluetooth are ok. If not ok, flash d baseband again. Make sure everything is working fine before trying upgrade to 5.x. If ur fone was giving u no service, most likely it was unlocked with ultrasnow. If all these dont work.........

@ tumababa, thanks for your contributions, i have done all that b4 i think around may, i get stocked @ error (-1),which occur as a result of baseband unable to upgrade according to itune error list. I use to get passed error 1013, error -1 occur alway when shows restoring firmware on itune.
The only restore that works on the phone now is custom FW.no stock has worked for now.

tumababa: ios 5.1.1 dont av bb 6.15. 6.15 is d ipad baseband used to unlock locked iphone 3gs. so if ur ios 5.1.1 has 6.15, then u are using a wrong ios. u must av used a custom ios that was not prepared well. u can try to put ur phone in dfu mode, connect to itunes and click restore. itunes will download d original ios5.1.1 and install. If that doesnt work, i think u av bricked the iphone permanently. it wont even b useful as ipod cos it will just b rebooting.

@tumababa, thanks ,yeah, the first upgrade started by showing no service after successful update, it was then i jailbreak and install baseband with redsnow, and still the same thing ,i didn't even check my baseband after jailbreak,since i got no service then,i just restore using itune again,it was after that i lost everything,baseband,imei, bluethooth,wifi.and the mistake i made was i didn't rmbr to save my blobs. I am still looking for. A fix other than changing the baseband chip coz that is the only fix for now,not sure if their is any other sha.

doame: @Akinibatt have you ever jailbroke your iphone? If u have try downgrading, it'll only work if you saved your blobs.after that try upgrading again. Since your phone is factory unlocked, u shudnt be worried about preserving your baseband for unlock.

Thanks for your response,initially when i upgraded and it started by showing no service,b4 then,baseband was intact and it was still 05.16..it was no service that now make me to jailbreak with redsnow,i didn't rmbr to save my. Blobs. Since then i av been restoring on itune, even with stock firmware,it will restore normally,but modem firmware,imei,wifi and bluethooth will not appearing,i have restored to several ios ,same thing,

tumababa: if ur iphone is factory unlocked, how come u av 6.15 baseband?

I don't av it, i was just trying to ugrade to the latest firmware 5.1.1 which has 6.15 baseband,it was during the process that i lost my modem firmware,imei,bluethooth ,now no baseband.

Guys,is there anyone who knows someone that can fix iphone baseband chip and cost,i have to buy another baseband chip for my iphone 3GS,i upgraded and got no imei,modem firmware,wifi and bluethooth coz the upgrade have successfully damaged my baseband while trying to update it to 06.15 baseband

Hey guys,i av a big prob with my iphone 3gs, i upgraded to ios 5.0 in march,since then my imei,bluethooth,modem firmware disappeared,and can't get service.i have restored several times on itune,still the same,i have read lots of possible soilutions on. Internet but couldn't get it solved.i have used redsnow,snowbreeze and others to restore,jailbreak but no solution.after researches,people mentioned of baseband chip hardware fault but i still doubt how that could get spoilt while upgrading. Seems i have no choice now,if anyone have same problem b4 and get it fixed wothout changing baseband chip should let me know,and if its to change,if you know someone who can get it changed without messing it up.will appreciate it.

Thanks water4qb. so in have to open the account or get the proof of financial doc (verpflichtungserklarung) from germany. My problem is if my sis will meet up.she is to resume on 15se pt,and according to the embassy,student visa is 3month processing .but i want to be sure of the exact time.if she gchet appointment,will the date be added to the processing time. I also have 2 cousins in germany, they have been there for six years and one has finished masters and working already but he can't get me the paper with his doc coz he doesn't have much fund in his account and that it only cost 50euro if he has the fund. But he told me he will help us get the (verpflichtungserklarung)proof of support form people who do it and they charge 1600euros, he said he has help people to get it in the past and they have been issued visa,but the disadvantage is if their is a delay as a result of embassy process which result to applicant unable to get visa,such money(1600euros (320,000naira plus) is non refundable. @all,help needed.my sis just got admission for masters in a uni in germany,she want τ̅☺ book student vsa appointment not and î help check the german embassy site and read that student appointment can't be booked without the proof of finacial account (german block) or the financial paper (verpflicherklagund). Pls anyone who has booked student appointment few months ago should put me through.can i book without the financial document ready coz the financial paper is not ready and i don't want her to miss the chance,that's why we have to book early.

@rubenic,you know how naija things is,her HOD from unilag took time to post reference,but despite that,it took her just 3weeks to get the admission,after they receive all the documents including her sat result,i help her in making the sat result posting payment with gtcard on ets site just 3weeks ago and she got admission letter on 4 jun,though she has a good grade cgpa 4.57,and also pass sat,but you can still get admssion without sat.she even got 2 admission letter now,one from another uni in germany,same processing time. pls can anyone help in getting this financial doc in germany(verpserklagund),na wa for german language ,and how is appointment for student booked coz i read on the german website that its through posting and one have to include proof of financial support with the appointment booking letter.
