CyrusVI:How are the other assertions wrong? |
They say Igbos love money and are the best in business, but it is Dangote, a Hausa man, who owns the biggest businesses and is the richest man in Nigeria. They say Northerners are the farmers supplying food to the country, but it is Obasanjo's farms a Yoruba man that is the most diversified. They say Yorubas are into education and office work, but it is an Igbo woman, Okonjo-Iweala, who has all the education from Harvard, was in charge of the World Bank, and is the Director-General of the World Trade Organization. |

Echoes of Yoruba Nation In the heart of vibrant West, Where the sun kisses the earth’s crest, Lies the Yoruba nation, proud and free, A tapestry of history and mystery. With crowns of coral, chiefs sit enthroned, In palaces where ancient gods are homed. The talking drums beat stories, old and revered, Songs of ancestors, forever endeared. From the bustling streets of Lagos’ might, To tranquil towns under starry night, Each corner breathes a sacred dance, Of art, of culture, in every glance. The Yoruba speak in proverbs wise, Every word a prize, under African skies. Their language, a river, flowing deep, Carries secrets it promises to keep. The festivals are a sight to behold, Eyo and Ojude Oba, bold and gold. Cloaked figures dance, the city’s heart beats, To rhythms of growth and ancestral feats. In markets vibrant with colors and smells, Where commerce whispers in beads and shells, The Yoruba craft their daily bread, Weaving futures from threads of thread. Ogun, Sango, Yemoja’s might, Deities of iron, fire, and water’s flight, Guardians of a people, strong and bold, Custodians of stories, yet untold. Here, tradition and progress entwine, In a nation where sun and stars align. Yoruba, a realm of endless bloom, Nurtured by the past, it finds its room. So sing the praise of this land so vast, Where the roots of humanity are cast. Yoruba nation, in every heartbeat, In Africa’s drum, its soul complete. Written by A.I |
Welcum:Chat GPT Prompt - Write a powerful poem for the freedom of the Igbo people |
A Song for the Igbo: A Cry for Freedom In the lush valleys where the palm trees sway, Where the Niger whispers through night and day, Igbo land, of resilient might, Rise, embrace your destined light. From the lands of Nsukka to the shores of Bonny, Where the spirit of ancestors is ever sunny, The drumbeats echo in the twilight air, A call for freedom, a fervent prayer. O spirits of Eri, hear our song, In justice's name, we've waited long. With strength from Ala, the earth we tread, We'll lift our voices, forge ahead. Our forebears sowed these fields with care, Their hopes and dreams are our sacred fare. Chukwu, guide us with your grace, Through trials and time, this path we trace. We are the heirs of a noble past, With courage that forever will last. In the face of trials, we'll never bend, For liberty, our cause defend. In the bustling markets where life thrives, In every art, our culture survives. The Oja's notes call out with pride, In freedom's quest, we will abide. No longer shall we bow in fear, With every step, our fate is clear. We rise as one, with hearts aflame, For freedom is our steadfast claim. Let the Niger's song be heard afar, A beacon bright as the evening star. Igbo land, our cherished home, In freedom's light, forever roam. O ancestors, lend us your might, To shatter chains and claim the right. For in our hearts, the vision grows, In unity, our spirit flows. So rise, O Igbo, claim your due, With dignity and valor true. In freedom's name, our future see, To live, to thrive, eternally. With each sunrise, a promise bright, Through every dusk, our hope alight. Igbo land, forever free, In unity, our destiny. Breaking: Tinubu Offers Lifeline to Dangote Refinery, NNPC to Sell Crude Oil to Company in Naira To ensure the stability of the pump price of refined fuel and the dollar-Naira exchange rate, the Federal Executive Council Monday adopted a proposal by President Tinubu to sell crude to Dangote Refinery and other upcoming refineries in Naira. Dangote Refinery at the moment requires 15 cargoes of crude, at a cost of $13.5 billion yearly. Nigerain National Petroleum Company (NNPC) has committed to supply four cargoes. But the FEC has approved that the 450,000 barrels meant for domestic consumption be offered in Naira to Nigerian refineries, using the Dangote refinery as pilot. The exchange rate will be fixed for the duration of this transaction. Afreximbank and other settlement banks in Nigeria will facilitate the trade between Dangote and NNPC Limited. The game changing intervention will eliminate the need for international letters of credit. It will also save the country of billions of dollars used in importing refined fuel. https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2024/07/29/breaking-tinubu-offers-lifeline-to-dangote-refinery-nnpc-to-sell-crude-oil-to-company-in-naira/ |
FG should beg Dangote not to cancel the steel mill. It is better than begging Saudi and Qatar and yet they still ignore Nigeria like a leper The federal government should sell Ajaokuta mills to Dangote for 1 Naira and keep a 25 percent share. It is glaring that Nigerian politicians accross the board are in debt to their sponsors hence they loot to repay their debt instead of doing the job. Therefore nothing good can be expected from them For a man that does not has a house abroad and yet the richest man in Africa, it shows his onwevering belief in Nigeria. Work with him and give him what he wants instead of working against him. |
JagabanB:I have been a strong advocate for Tinubu but i cannot support all these wrong decisions. It looks like the President needs to change is advisers |

Yet the president went around begging in Saudi and Qatar for this same investment. What you are looking for in Sokoto is in your Shokoto. Unbelievable! No support for homegrown businesses, Innoson, Nord, and so on are there but the government keeps patronising foreign companies and creating jobs in foreign lands Landmark was demolished for tribal sentiments taking away millions of salaries and taxes from the system and yet the government will be happy for Lebanese investment on this same beach even though they will take their profits away like MTN and DSTV. |
Dangote is calling off plans to invest in a new steel plant in Nigeria after the government accused him of seeking to become a monopoly with his new refinery in the West African nation. Dangote said, "let others that have more money than us go and bring their money from Dubai and invest in their fatherland." “Our own board has decided that we should not have the steel plant. If we do, we will be called all sorts of names,” Dangote said at a media briefing Saturday at the refinery in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial hub. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atcaYPZyVkY *Dangote to Scrap Steel Investment Over Allegations of Monopolyhttps://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-07-21/dangote-to-scrap-steel-investment-over-allegations-of-monopoly?srnd=energy

adeniyiemmanuel:Dangote's hair turns white overnight Nigerians have to support Dangote against these evil cabals

The lack of Electricity for over 40 years is because some people have benefited from importing petrol and diesel for over 4 decades. More than half of Nigeria's population approximately over 100 million people have been held at ransom by these very few people Their evil generational wealth is like a tap of water that runs on a non-functioning society. This is the most dangerous cabal in the history of Nigeria How can a man build a refinery that should have been built by the government and still be importing crude into a crude exporting country and yet NNPC still wants to sell imported petrol and diesel while the biggest refinery in the world's products on Nigerian soil is bypassed?

Apparently, someone bought these tomatoes for 1000 Niara in Kano If true, how many tomatoes will the minimum wage buy? If the entire minimum wage is spent on Tomatoes, how many days will it take a family of four to finish before they start starving, begging, or stealing? It is either the north is doing this on purpose to destabilize the government of Tinubu or Tinubu has failed to secure the middle belt food basket of the Nation or Nigerians are just too lazy to plant tomatoes everywhere on the most fertile soil with plenty of rain and sunshine everywhere. Or all of the above. Tinibu better do something or the next revolt might be the last. See - https://www.nairaland.com/8126068/see-tomato-bought-1000-kano

From kneeling, bowing, and prostrating to greet elders to wearing Iro and buba and Agabda To similar words and intonation... there are several mysterious similarities between Yoruba and Japan When a king loses a war in both Japanese and Yoruba cultures according to their tradition they are required to kill themselves

Instead of spending Trillions on fuel subsidy, the government should ensure that all corners of Nigeria has access to 24 hrs electricity. It does not take rocket science to do this. Other countries are already talking about free energy by recreating how the sun is powered through nuclear fusion. |
Nzogbu2012:Absolutely in support And each region should have their own anthem written by an indegine and not Yoruba western region having an anthem written by an Igbo man from the east or Nothern Hausa man. In this things we have to use our brains. |
StOla:Which one is more representative 1. ‘Arise, O Compatriots’ National Anthem written by a collective of young Nigerians, including John A. Ilechukwu, Eme Etim Akpan, B. A. Ogunnaike, Sota Omoigui and P. O. Aderibigbe in 1978 2. Nigeria, We Hail Thee’, written by an English woman, Lillian Jean Williams. Imagine someone from Abeokuta being the Author of God Save the King or the American national anthem. |
You cannot shave a man's head in his absence In Nigeria's case, their head has been shaved in their presence without a say in how it is shaved. How else do you explain a change of the national anthem in 24 hrs? Even the military under Obasanjo was more democratic about it by calling for national competition in the newspapers. How on earth does a government full of old people that I would not like to call old fools wake up and decide to change the anthem of 200 million plus people? The contempt for docile Nigerians has reached an all-time high. How do you pick an anthem created by a white colonial master's wife more than half a century ago of which our old cargo dim and inferior-minded legislators have fond memory off? No pride or brain whatsoever. Imagine some government officials just waking up to change The Star-Spangled Banner anthem in just 24 hrs to an anthem written by an African woman some 70 years ago. A country named by a white woman with the derogatory term Nigga Area like a dog is named now reverts to an anthem by another colonial master's lady of the other room. This must have been a double-dare by the puppet master to see how docile and stupid Nigerians are. It is now time for the young minds not infected by this inferiority complex to take over. It is time to disband Nigeria as it is and let every region be by itself the way it should be. It is time to erase artificial lines dividing blood brothers and families across Africa with artificially imposed lines and allow free movement. The Europeans would have killed all of themselves if they had this kind of union where the French, the Italians, the Spanish, The Germans, and the English were all merged into one country by some outsiders and forced to fight in a game of the throne. Instead of focusing on agriculture on our fertile lands across Africa, every head of tribe is stupidly waiting for their turn to taste the sugary poisonous national cake while their family is begging for food that can easily be grown on the most fertile land in the world God has gifted us. You throw a seed on the floor and it will grow. Instead of harnessing this gift, Africans are busy cutting down trees and clearing bushes to build foreign religious worship centers and praying and begging for food. It is time to wise up The young uninfected minds should take over from the brainwashed heads. Soro soke gidi gan... Speak up very loud young Africans. |
