Waste of time replying a nonentity

The 'nonentity' you quoted is more learned than you. Did you read the Muller report? How come a 'nonentity' knows the findings and you do not?

Interesting.
Never knew of this.
Maybe because it's mainly Igbos that apply for Igbo state universities. The competition and demand alone is too high amongst Igbos that outsiders don't even stand a chance.

Abia State University, seem to have joined the queue on this as well.

Interesting times ahead.

I personally love the Lagos state law. Bulk of the " One Nigeria " Igbos, are Igbos who pride themselves as Lagosians.

This Lagos State law is a wake up call for them, if only they are still alive, as many of them look dead intellectually to me
The law is basically a slap on the face to them, it sent them out of their delusions by practically telling them that they are outsiders in a city they pride themselves of being part of.
Many of them are hurting on social media, throwing tantrums up and down , and all I can do is grin.

Fascinating - Dr. Madubuike seriously means business. More power to him. And to all the Igbos who are working day and night to promote Igbo culture in the SE. Ji si ke.

I am re-committing myself to the actualization of Biafra. This country is finished. Kanu is somewhere safe. People forget that the movement was never about Kanu. Some politicians are trying to entice us with Igbo presidency, jokers.

More power to you. I would give you advice but I know you won't take it. Abi I lie? tongue

You will have no problem there because a lot of my fellow Igbos (the foolish ones at least) love Lagos more than they love the SE.

So GIB - what's going on in your neck of the woods? What is the status of Mazi Kanu's whereabouts?

Any evidence to back up this?
Here is your evidence (I leave the rest of the research to you):http://allafrica.com/stories/201006080539.html

Also, any state or privately owned tertiary institution in the state which is found not to have established an Igbo language department or made Igbo language a mandatory general studies course by September, 2011 shall pay a fine of N100,000 for every month in which the offence continues.

It would be recalled that Governor Peter Obi signed the Bill into Law on the day he launched Suwakwa Igbo (speak Igbo) designed to enhance wide usage of Igbo language to save it from extinction

Moreover, Anambra and Imo are not Lagos.

Anambra, Imo and Lagos are all states with state's rights.

If Ogun and Ondo passed this law, nobody would even notice.
Just like you didn't notice when Anambra and Imo passed their own laws

Too bad.
Would have made so much sense for it to be total.
Other SW states should copy this Lagos template. It's good for Nigeria.

Anambra and Imo led the way. Lagos is only following in their footsteps.

In my opinion a total application is not required for its intended purpose.

Fair enough. But Igbo traders are disproportionately represented in Lagos. Such acts, however legal, will affected them disproportionately.

Everybody will be affected including many Yoruba traders. But we Yorubas are not complaining because we know it is for the good of Lagos and everyone who calls it home. If you love Lagos you will support her progress.

Lets agree to disagree on the intention. So what about the proposed relocation of certain markets?

If you see me in Anambra protesting the demolishing of markets by Obiano then and only then will I take your concerns on this issue seriously.

Markets are relocated every time all over the country. Only when it is proposed in Lagos will you hear pathetic cries marginalization. The purpose of these proposed relocation is to reduce traffic congestion and continue the progress of making Lagos a more serene and more peaceful society.

This is not an anti-Igbo law in my opinion even though I suspect the intention might be just that.

No need to contradict yourself. It is not an anti-Igbo law. The intention is to continue to promote and nourish Yoruba culture. Some low-self esteem people are triggered by this hence the wailing and crying you see all over.
