From my experience, take your mind off any updates from vfs via email or text. Track your application online and check your cic Account. But since you said your ‘application is in progress ‘, there’s not much you can do. But keep checking your account though, when it changes to approved, after a day or 2, track your application on the vfsglobal website, if it says dispatched, then give it another 5-7 working days or so and your passport would have been delivered.

Hi guys..i submitted my passport almost 2weeks back.just got a message that my passport has been forwarded to lagos..
Problem is my cic account says application still in progress..
Any one has any knowledge or experience about this..

Kept checking my mail,hoping for Medical update,believing thats d next step.

Request letter for additional document (proof of separation. BACKGROUND CHECK SAYS IN PROCESS
Medicals still not updated..
Now am in limbo,cos I thought medical update was meant to happen before any background buhaha

He can confirm that there is no way to get PCC unless the person is physically in Cyprus to get it done.
