What happens is creation of more local councils brings governance closer to the masses, it also aids development as each local council would at least have an headquarters.
And to those making noise about funding, what happens is it is the present apparatus( I mean human and financial resources) that is shared and it better gets to the grass roots
Another advantage of this is it helps to generate more funds for the govt, as each local council now generates funds and it also aids effectiveness.

@Tippytop, the issue of Aregbe claiming to be an engineer and presenting only a ssce cert holds no water, the law says he must have at least an ssce and he presented that, whether he is an engineer or a lawyer isn't concerned. Even a Ph.D holder might decide to present a school cert, so far it is allowed.
