1. Get your documents authenticated in Abuja at the MOE and MFA. Don't forget to get receipts for the authentication.This should be around 20,000 - 40,000 depending on if you're going yourself or being helped.

2. Translate your documents at the approved translators. It's around 1000 - 2000 per page.

3 Book for an appointment to legalize. You can have your pre-enrolment done simultaneously. Both should be around 40,000

4 Wait for your DOV.

5 Apply for your visa.

my story.
I booked an appointment for legalization via phone two weeks ago, went on 21st Monday for legalization but was asked to present my receipt of payment at MFA but was not with it and also was asked to bring an attested original documents and attest photocopy of the originals too.
So I had to go back to Abuja again. I'm done with the attestation at Abuja now.
Called in for legalization yesterday was told I can't book via phone that I should use email. I did that and discovered the message wasn't bounding back and finally got an appointment reply today to come on Wednesday next week.

Take note of all I have said to avoid wasting time and money or stressing yourself for nothing. No one said such here I wouldn't have wasted time and money.

I have been waiting for a decision regarding my admission for Masters in Economics from some schools I applied to between February and early April but so far I am yet to get responses from most schools (though a couple of them responded in the negative). Your WAEC certificate,
Secondary or university transcript depending on if you're going for an Msc or a degree program,
Degree certificate,
Declaration of age,
Attestation of birth (NPC).

Go with all your documents- both original and photocopy. Go with colored printed copies of your passport page and admission letter. Also go with filled copies of your form A.

Read back. A lot of people have taken their time to explain the processes. It would help.

I have been admitted to university of Verona. I'm done with MOE and MFA and want to proceed with the other processes. My questions are:
1. What are the necessary documents to be translated to Italian language?
2. Which translation agencies are the cheapest that are accepted by the Italian embassy or I'm supposed to visit the Italian embassy before the translation of my documents?
3. Do I have to book an appointment when I want to legalize my documents (to get my DOV) at the embassy or what should I do?
4. I'm using my account as proof of my study finance. What should be the minimum balance in my account that can guarantee my visa application?

You can include fixed deposit or treasury bill that will mature before you travel

Hello good morning all, even God's favrote pikin was denied visa but my passpprt was not stamped refusal or touched. It all boils down to the mistake i made at VFS...to submit two copies of...every document. So learn from my mistake ... I submitted two sets of photocopies while the originals were still with me. The visa denial reasons stated on a piece of paper were 1. No legalized docs presented 2. No dov presented.. 3. Documentation is insufficient... I ran mad briefly and tear my shokoto. I have all these things for Christ-sake so it means my photocopies were not acknowledged. So I am not appealing, but by the time you are reading this, I don dey tear race they go reapply again at vfs with all my original documents to be submitted this time. Thank Jesu my Master classes commence in October so i still have time.

How do you apply if you've missed the pre-enrollment window?

Masters degree students can still fly it the school is resuming in mid October or November, but for undergraduate it can't fly again.
