He has been relevant in Lagos politics for 20 years and counting but greed won't let him stop there. He also wanted to become relevant in Osun politics to be picking governors without regard to Aregbesola. How has that worked out so far? Greed is one hell of a drug!
So you were there when he picked Oyetola in Osun state? And Aregbe told you Tinubu disregarded him on who to be the next governor? My brother you better purge your mind of this hatred you have for Tinubu.
It is well with you ooooh.

AMINDA:
Kai! Whatever it takes to exonerate Tinubu from the shame of defeat. He is unaware of the 15,000 security personnel that were deployed to Osun. He also never knew that Uzodinma, Akpabio and 25 governors would be heading to Osun to "deliver". He also knows nothing about the withheld local government funds of Osun for the past 36 months. Has Oyetola and the "party" usurped the role of the Commander-in-Chief?
It seems this will be my last response to you. I'm not exonerating Tinubu. Of course he is the commander in chief. But this is party's affairs. Akpabio and others will definitely go and support their own party candidate naaaah. Every party have their own party management at state level. They have organising committee to see to the affairs of election. The president made it a level playing ground for everyone. So why do you think Adeleke still stood by his words to support Tinubu in 2027? If he is aware that the president is trying to sabotage the election in favour of APC will he come out victoriously and yet appreciate the president?

Lol. Tinubu continues to choose and replace governors in Lagos until this day but he wouldn't even allow Aregbesola anoint his own successor in Osun. He insisted on his incompetent nephew to replace Aregbe. So Tinubu nominated ministers in Buhari’s cabinet including the VP? I thought Buhari sidelined him after winning? What more did he then want? To be appointed as a co-president?
Now I get it. Anytime I find myself arguing politics with people who hate Tinubu, there is one thing I do observe about them and that was what I highlighted in your comment. People hate Tinubu because he has been relevant in Lagos politics and have a say on who will be the next governor in Lagos State. My brother or sister; see, purge yourself of that mindset. If Tinubu has been relevant in Lagos politics since 1999, just see it as the will of God and not man. Who is Tinubu? Is he God? No he is not, but God almight has made him to be relevant in Lagos politics so we shouldn't because of that hate him.

After all, he isn't relevant in the politics of other 35 states so why the hate? The last time he tried to meddle in the affairs of Edo state politics they told him point blank; 'Edo no be Lagos' and what did he do? He crawled back to his hole. The same thing in Ondo state. And ever since then he has stopped passing his boundary.

Being a party chieftain in APC, Buhari had to give him honour to recommend a certain number of ministers and other portfolios. His fallout with Buhari began in his 2nd tenure when some members of CPC blocs and some northerners ganged up against Tinubu. They tried as much as possible to destroy both men's relationship. And they already had an agreement. The issue continued towards the 2023 election and that was what brought about the famous 'Emi lokan speech' at Abeokuta.

Because the governor thanked an insecure president that withheld his local government funds and has the courts in his pocket, it suddenly means that he didn't send 25 governors plus Akpabio to Osun with over 60 billion naira spent in order to capture Osun?
I will always like you to calm down and follow Nigeria politics with all honesty. Fine you hate Tinubu; it's fine. We all have preferences, it's one of our fundamental rights. If you observed closely, Tinubu didn't meddle in the affairs of Osun state election. It is the party itself APC that handled the affairs of their election which is the normal thing to do. Do you think if Tinubu wants to rig Osun election for APC do you think he cannot do it? If you can flashback to Obasanjo's tenure, do you know the number of times we will be on the queue to vote whereas Maurice Iwu or who was the INEC chair then will start announcing election results. But Tinubu told everyone to go to the field to test their popularity. The party and not Tinubu handled the election affairs as it should be. So if you say the Senate President and other governors were in Osun state for campaign, of course it's the normal thing to do. Will they sit back and not support their party candidate? It's APC affair and not just the president only.

Whenever Tinubu betrays his allies and benefactors, you all keep making excuses for him by coming up with so many conspiracy theories. You all said the same in the early days of his betrayal of Elrufai. Tinubu chose his cousin, Oyetola, over Aregbesola despite all Aregbe did for him. The APC continues to pay for that treachery in Osun and Lagos until this day.
Kindly expatiate. Chose Oyetole over Aregbe as how? Didn't Aregbe complete his tenure in Osun state? Who nominated Aregbe for Buhari as a minister representing Osun state?
Politics › Re: Aregbesola Congratulates Adeleke, Salutes ADC by akpumping7720(m): 6:26pm On Aug 17
[quote author=AMINDA post=140364914]APC concentrated on inducing voters in his polling unit with as high as 50k each thinking they could embarass him only to end up losing the general election. Talk about winning a battle but losing the war. Baba Kabiru will always have the last laugh.

Listen to Dr Deji Adeleke. Over 60 billion naira was spent by the APC on this election.

just listen to yourself; what has all this got to do with Aregbe? Even during the governor's recent speech; he specifically thanked Mr President and promised to support him in 2027. APC lost Osun state and so? Even Aregbe was beaten in his own local government. So why bringing Argebe matter into the just concluded election. Or did Adeleke referenced Aregbe in his speech? Even in Osun state politics as at today; Omisore is even more relevant than Aregbe.
So which last laugh is Aregbe laughing? You win some and lose some.

Lukuluku69:
He was Commissioner for Works! 8 solid years! The juiciest of Office in a State with massive infrastructural outlay.

Aside that, he was one of the reasons Ambode ran foul when Ambode stood him up at Alausa amd refusing to release LASG funds for Electioneering purposes.

Everyone knows that the works commissioner is the Governor's Right hand man but they fell out and Aregbe was all over the place dissing Tinubu.

The fallout is actually unbelievable for many people and I feel it is just a ruse for Tinubu to enter into the opposition.

Till date, Tinubu never openly acknowledge Aregbe despite all he has been saying and if you follow Tinubu boys utterances, they have always left Aregbe out of any diatribes.
Well after 2027 election we will know whats up. Though siblings do have fallout and keep distance from each other. But this Tinubu and Aregbe fight get k-leg. Something is fishy.

It's Aregbesola that has made Tinubu to be begging for endorsements from Adeleke up and down. APC has not won one single election in Osun ever since he left.
So who told you that it is the handwork of Aregbe? Even the same Aregbe was beaten black and blue in his own local government.

I may be wrong but I strongly believe Aregbe is a Tinubu mole.
Like I'm just surprised at their fallout. Is this real. As in former Lagos State commissioner for works and other underground portfolios. If you go around Lagos State you will see different markets named after Aregbe especially in Alimosho axis.
Politics › Re: Aregbesola Congratulates Adeleke, Salutes ADC by akpumping7720(m): 5:57pm On Aug 17
AMINDA:
APC has not won any election in Osun and Alimosho ever since Aregbesola fell out with Tinubu and the APC. In the 2023 elections, he worked with LP and contributed towards Tinubu losing Lagos. In the gubernatorial election, Jide Sanwo-olu had to personally beg him. Tinubu destroyed the APC in Osun just to continue to make his cousin, Oyetola, have his way. It was Oyetola's uncontrolled high-handedness that still destroyed the party in the just concluded elections. Continue to bark at the wrong tree. Aregbe may not have won but he didn't lose either. He is not a coward. The disgrace suffered by Tinubu in Lagos and Osun in 2023 and now Osun in 2026 is co-sponsored by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola alias Baba Kabiru.
You will just sit in one corner and prepare nonsense to post on nairaland. When did Sanwo Olu begged Aregbe?
You sha want put Aregbe in the 2023 and 2026 Osun elections just to spite Tinubu.
Aregbe that is no longer relevant in Osun politics again.

U guys should stop all these senseless defence. Tinubu has the certificates but he is hiding something. It is either his age or his name. Ignorance at it peak. Instead of you to google 'correspondent schools' before arguing ignorantly because of your hatred to the man. For your information he has tendered his degree from CSU which is equivalent to what the Constitution requires.

With all this your explanation,so why is Tinubu suddenly not bold enough to submit his Primary and Secondary School credentials? At least that of Secondary School.

Typically, everyone is proud of his or her Secondary school experience of life journey.
In the 50s, 60s upto the 70s, it's not everyone that attends brick and wall schools. Some were homeschooling by the missionaries and some were through correspondence.
