FamilyRe: Household Items You Didn’t Realize Had Expiration Dates by akraym(op): 5:58pm On Apr 04, 2017
Acidosis:
The time it took to design these images is more than enough time to take a picture of a bed or pillow with expiry date.

The manufacturers of the said pillow didn't write one, why should I take this seriously?

There is nothing good about this info. So if I purchase a bed and decide to not sleep on it, I should still go ahead to replace it because a blogger somewhere said my bed has expired? The same bed the real manufacturers didn't write any on?

Una well-done.

Just to correct this misinformation, pillows don't expire...their "shelf-life" solely depends on individual use and are subject to wear and tear based on, again, individual usage. If only you know the number of years some of these pillows have spent in warehouse and retail shops...
for your mind now, you are making sense.

We always remember to check the expiration date of milk, and we know how long we should keep our beauty products. Unfortunately, we don’t pay attention to items in our house that surround us longer than they actually should.
We at Bright Side advise you to start checking expiration dates...and not just the stuff in your fridge!

Many people take great pleasure in being able to care for the disadvantaged and the defenseless. Yet sometimes the sincere desire to help others can have unintended consequences that upset those around us. This is what happened with Justin and Kayla. Take a look at their correspondence, and you’ll understand. The conclusion to this story will definitely have an effect on you!

The magnetic island of Es Vedrà

Closed to protect people from the effects of unpredictable energy

The rocky island of Es Vedrà is one of the Balearic Islands off the coast of Spain, and it is said to have the third most powerful degree of geomagnetic force on Earth (the first and second are the Bermuda Triangle and the North Pole). Yet the island has no metal deposits whatsoever, being formed entirely from volcanic rock. Here, technology falters, and you can’t trust your compass to point in the true direction — the arrow will swing chaotically in different directions. The mysterious Es Vedrà is swathed in legends and harrowing stories. The Spanish government has banned anyone from visiting the island, declaring it to be a nature reserve. Some claim that the local Spaniards occasionally organize illegal excursions to the island. All that you can do legally is observe the shore of the island from the water.

Club 33, New Orleans

The secret society that’s closed to all outsiders

In 1967, Walt Disney founded a club which gathered together famous investors, eminent public figures, and politicians under one roof. You’ll never be invited to visit "Club 33," nor will anyone passing by its mysterious door ever find any clues as to its name. The rumor is that it’s not simply the number of members it has. For those who burn with enough curiosity, you can visit the club if you wait 14 years and pay a starting sum of $10,450 (for individuals) or $27,500 (for companies). In addition, each year individual and corporate members of the club have to pay $3,275 or $6,100 respectively to retain their membership.

Vale do Javari Reservation, Brazil

Specially isolated to protect indigenous tribes

Indigenous tribes have inhabited the jungles of the Amazon for many centuries. Aerial photographs prove the existence of those which still remain untouched by the outside world. In the Vale do Javari Reservation there are around 14 tribes that have no knowledge or experience of the outside world and whose lifestyle revolves around agriculture. Researchers have discovered an additional eight villages there, leading them to estimate that the combined population of the indigenous peoples may be as high as 2,000. For their safety and the preservation of their way of life, authorities banned people from entering an area of the Amazon rainforest equal to around 77,000 square kilometers.

Svalbard Global Seed Vault, Norway

A storage facility to be used in times of catastrophe.

Within a mountainside on the Norwegian island of Spitsbergen, at a depth of 120 meters, a tunnel has been built within which a constant temperature of −18°С is maintained. The humidity is kept to a minimum, and the tunnel’s microclimate is regulated by an automated system. It is here that humanity’s last hope of reviving the natural world is safeguarded in case of an unforeseen cataclysmic event. Containers of seeds preserve the agricultural inheritance of all the world’s countries, and it is for this reason that not a single person can be allowed to enter for fear of damaging mankind’s chances of survival.

Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center, Virginia

Access restricted to high-ranking officials

Mount Weather is a secret refuge for the US government. The FEMA Operations Center is hidden underneath the mountain and is capable of running the country in the event of a catastrophe and any resulting emergency situation. Some of the center’s structures are built above ground, and these are administered and guarded by a separate branch of the security and emergency services. Inside, the center is governed by its own laws, and outsiders are strictly forbidden to enter.

There are many intriguing corners of the world that the vast majority of us will never have the opportunity to visit. And in every case, each one has its own reason for being so inaccessible. Such places inevitably attract intense interest on the part of tourists and adventure seekers, yet they remain almost impossible to reach.

Let's lift the veil on the secrets of these locations and take a look at what’s hiding there.

So there you have it. You’ll never be cousin-confused again—or if you are, just reference them all as cousins and call it day!
FamilyUnderstand The Difference Between Second Cousins And Cousins Once Removed by akraym(op): 6:42pm On Feb 24, 2017
Remembering the difference between a “second cousin” and a “cousin once removed” is one of those facts that I have filed in my brain as non-essential. I think I know the difference, but then I get fuzzy on the details.

Luckily I now have a handy chart to bookmark in my web browser so that I never forget again.

Remembering what my mom’s cousin’s children are in relation to me is always a tricky one for me. Using this chart, I can see that they are my second cousins. And their kids? My second cousins once removed. Their kids? Second cousins twice removed.

Customers are that comply with the rules are enjoying the bookie ( lionsbet ) . I have Bet9JA, NAIRABET and 1960 Accounts too. I can categorically tell you that Lionsbet is far better than them in time of best odds, instant payout, Number of times that you can payout in a day, First deposit bonus. Even in this other betting companies, there are rules, terms and conditions which also affect customers when they infringed on them. I will advise that we read up and ask questions where we do not understand fully and it will make us effective and efficient punters!!

He retired Mr. Bean in 2012 because he realized that the character was too childish for him. "The stuff that has been most commercially successful for me – basically quite physical, quite childish – I increasingly feel like I'm going to do a lot less of."

“Apart from the fact that your physical ability starts to decline, I also think someone in their fifties being childlike becomes a little sad. You’ve got to be careful.”

CelebritiesRe: Roman Atkinson: Things You Should Know About Mr Bean by akraym(op): 12:54pm On Feb 07, 2017
Before Rowan settled on Mr. Bean, he went through a number of different names for the bumbling character. He first went with Mr. White and Mr. Cauliflower before settling on the name we now know.

CelebritiesRe: Roman Atkinson: Things You Should Know About Mr Bean by akraym(op): 12:53pm On Feb 07, 2017
So how did Rowan even come up with the character of Mr. Bean? It started when he was getting his master's degree at Oxford. He was asked to do a sketch at the playhouse and the idea came to him when he was standing in front of the mirror and fooling around with weird facial expressions.

According to him, "this strange, surreal, sort of non-speaking character evolved.”

CelebritiesRe: Roman Atkinson: Things You Should Know About Mr Bean by akraym(op): 12:52pm On Feb 07, 2017
He voiced a pretty important character in The Lion King. He was cast as Zazu, the red-billed hornbill.

And yes, he does his own singing on "I Just Can't Wait To Be King!" *listens to it on repeat because who even knew it was Mr. Bean*
