The month of march was a month many former government workers who were unjustly sacked by the previous administration since 2017 and their respective family will never forget. It will indeed be remarkable for them, because it was the month that they all(over 150 of them) received their letter of re-appointment from the Executive governor of oyo-state, Engr Seyi makinde. The workers were laid off by the administration of the Ex-governor Abiola Ajumobi, who laid off thousands of workers. The governor has also promised to pay the 1 year salary arrears being owed the state workers by the previous administration. It will be worthy to note that the re-instated workers have started working since march and have received their march and April salary as at today. It's also quite unfortunate that many workers whose names appeared on the re-instatement list has passed away due to the difficulty they encountered after they were unjustly laid off by the previous administration. It will be worthy to note that the oyo state government carried out a forensic verification of the state workforce between the month of January and February 2020. Now the question is, what did the present government discover after the audit? Was their a massive ghost workers fraud commited by the previous administration? Were they workers unjustly sacked and has been having their salaries embezzled for 3 years? Attached here with is a list of reinstated staffs. #copied#
