Most Nigerian doctors are perverts. They ask all sorts of silly questions that aren't related to your ailment. It has even gone as far as medical students on ward round , postings or clerking in teaching hospitals. Small boys wey never grow hair for prick will begin to ask you the last time you had sex before they diagnose you with typhoid or malaria. It's worse if you visit a teaching hospital. You might be used for live practicals in front of medical students during ward rounds or husky exams. If you have a knowledge of the medical profession, you'd easily understand. Later in the day, you begin to hear medical students and even interns gisting about their experience in O/G ward round , female medical etc.
A doctor will diagnose you with malaria and when it's time to prescribe a drug,
We know certain drugs or administration aren't suitable for pregnant people but instead of the male doctor to simply ask if you're pregnant, he'll rather be asking for the last time you had sex and if you're clean shaven down there

Please what year was this and which hostel was this, because one of the so called New Hall hostels that I stayed at about 27 years ago was a nightmare? The toilets, bathroom and plumbing, in general, was a disgusting disaster not fit for human habitation! In fact, most people used to go and use the toilet and have their baths every single day in other hostels. Power supply was 24 hours then too though.....

Visit akoka and idi-araba hostels someday and take a tour. Everything has changed. Am glad you said 27 years ago. Unilag hostels has been upgraded massively and this was as at when I graduated (2016). As a matter of fact idiaraba hostels toilet, bath and laundry looks like that of an hotel with DStv connection to all rooms, same as akoka.

I can categorically tell you that unilag has the best hostel based on the Nigerian standard in this country. My hostel back then has everything including a standby generator and DStv connection to every room. Power supply in unilag is 24hrs. You can't find a unilag student going for night class with a reading lamp.

Unilag, the school where I cooked for a whole session with electricity. Everything is complete 24hrs power supply, academic standard and social life are top notch. I wouldn't have schooled in Nigeria if I didn't attend that school. Greatest akokite!!!
