Nri means'food'in Igbo(possibly given to the bearer because of his love for food) While Eri is means the progenitor of all Igbos.
He did not tell the newspaper how he got to the throne in the first place, forgetting that he was the weakest of the three contestants to
the throne and the role Aguleri played in enthroning him.Nri means'food'in Igbo(possibly given to the bearer because of his love for food) While Eri is means the progenitor of all Igbos.Every real son Igbo knows that in Igbo tradition that the first Son i.e (Di okpala) does not move out of his Father's compound/place and that is the reason ndi Nri had to leave Ama Nri in Aguleri to this their present aboard. Again,Eri the father of Aguleri,Nri etc lived, died and was buried in Aguleri ,so I wonder where Eze Nri's claims came from.

Anyway this is Nigeria where anything goes, there was no single community in Igbo land called NRI until 1949 when the late Tabansi
Udene unilaterally changed Akamgbisi to NRI in order falsely lay claim to the holdership of OFOR Umunri to the utter dismay and
bewilderment of other Umunri clans some of which are much older than Akamgbisi. This issue is still unresolved till today.
