Prayer works 24/7/365 but you need to have the right tools in place. Saying prayer does not work is almost like saying, seeds never germinate. GOD is a GOD of rules, regulations and especially systems. If all things are equal and you plant your seed, it should germinate, grow and produce its like and the system will continue. The question really is, How many people really spend time to understand the principles of "Prayer" and master it to perfection? A good samaritan posted a website to me and I have no regrets that I registered with the site. Its an online site where you post a prayer and can actually get notification on how many people are praying for you, where they are in the world, see their pictures, read their comments about your situation.
