WARNING!!! Before you read: This article is not intended to persuade or convince anyone, but as a testament to the world for future reference when it does become generally known. Charismatic Nigerian preacher Temitope Balogun Joshua – known simply as TB Joshua – could easily remind one of those fire and brimstone prophets such as Isaiah and Amos, Elijah and Jeremiah who traverse the world of the Old Testament. But it’s quite easy to deal with the fact that he’s just a mere prophet and very unassuming, sent by God, but then it occurs to us that, even Jesus at the time of his ministry was also regarded as nothing more than a prophet. When in actual fact he was the much awaited messiah. Typical to God’s notoriously secretive ways (Jesus Christ said he would come back like a thief in the night), we may perhaps have history repeating itself with the coming of TB Joshua if we care to look at the evidences staring at us in the face. He seems to be the Name on every one’s lips as far as spiritual walk and warfare is concerned, with unofficial blogs and websites rising up in his name, unofficial Facebook and twitter accounts basking in the aura that comes from the mention of his name that the scoan itself has a very hard time dealing with them all upon the disclaimers they put forward from time to time. The internet is constantly flooded with fresh news about him, some for, others against. Just as the people in Jesus day were divided concerning Him. He appears now to be at the centre of all topics in Christendom. Some have speculated that TB Joshua is perhaps a descendant of the Old Testament prophet; the prophets would go about anointing one king, denouncing another and predicting the death of others as in the touching episode involving prophet Isaiah and King Hezekiah. But TB Joshua is unlike any prophet known to man throughout history, even from the earliest Bible times. The testimony of his unique works clearly bears witness to the fact that Calling TB Joshua a prophet is no different from calling a professor of English one who can read and write . I wouldn’t want to go through the daily occurrences of healings and deliverances in scoan which in quality and quantity is clearly unmatched by even that of all other ministers of God in the world combined , but to that which I would regard as the greatest of his miracles so far: The Five Wise Men The Five Wise Men; Mentored by TB Joshua and dependable enough to continue His mission after His departure from this earth. When TB Joshua introduced the 5 wise men, he so powerfully explained and emphasized that the wise men are the equals of the Apostles of Christ we read about in the scriptures, that no apostle sent from God above can be above the level of the wise men . I was totally astounded at his words that day. What was more revealing in his words that day apart from the spiritual level of the wise men was the fact that Tb Joshua spoke here with an authority far greater than that of any other prophet. He speaks here only as Jesus Himself would, not just man, not just evenas a prophet. Even more of a mystery for us to decipher is this question. Where and when in human history has it been seen or heard that a living General of God raised men equal to him in deed who could very well continue his mission after his departure from earth with the promise that more of them are in the making? As for our modern day pastors and prophets, by any chance I’ve heard of none, talk less of seeing with my own eyes. They all came with powerful anointing and left with it. Former Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson has, staggeringly, admitted that he rejected a$300,000 bribe in the 2006 Fifa World Cup. The player was charmed into throwing Ghana's second game group match against the Czech Republic. Our previous post on the exposure of Giles Hurst as a spy in scoan was met with mixed reactions, some commenters were happy that the traitor was exposed, others chastised us with pathetic excuses one of which boldly claims that nobody bothers about spies unless they have something to hide, but wouldn’t these people themselves bother if they were actually spied upon to the last minute of their privacy? You may have nothing to hide as an individual but would it feel comfortable to have someone spy on you not knowing for what purpose or who they work for? How safe and secure would it make you feel? Is it an action you would welcome with open arms when it poses a security threat to your life and all those around you? As unwelcome as the idea would be to nearly everyone, we actually got certain comments justifying the spy attempts at scoan, which we believe should put everyone especially fans of TB Joshua’s ministry on red alert. So for those who think we’re actually going overboard with the issue of Giles Hurst being a spy in SCOAN believe us, we aren’t. The scenario of spies in Scoan isn’t one to be taken lightly; perhaps it would help if you considered the undercover BBC and Sky undercover agents who went to Scoan London with spy cameras and the rest or perhaps the mysterious disappearance of Wiseman Harry’s luggage on his arrival to the US before the Revival, to help appreciate our concern on this, these sneaky actions all stress a salient point- the lengths people are willing to go to uncover whatever mystery lies in the SCOAN and we’ve put forward some reasons in a previous post for our opinion that Giles Hurst came to Scoan in the capacity of a spy. You said God showed you that a group would attack people in the Northern part of the country, before and after Christmas in 2010. You predicted the bomb blasts in Abuja, barracks and other states. These prophecies which you gave in September, 2010 to those in authority have all come to pass. You also stated that prayers could avert them. You predicted the Dana plane crash which was published in February this year. How do you see these visions? Romans 10 verse 9 states that “he that believes has eternal life.” By this statement, the believing means possessing. Everyone that believes has power to prophesy. The belief in our heart is released by faith. The belief to see visions is released by faith out of our mouth. For many years people have argued that you have no biological child. But now, we hear your daughter graduated in Law from the London School of Economics with second class upper division. What do you have to say? What do you want me to say?Is she your biological daughter? (Cuts in) She is my daughter. In fact she is my first daughter. She is my biological child. Those of you who say I have no child, we are yet to hear from your children. There are so many pastors with big churches that have their children being involved in running the affairs of those places. Don't you want your daughter to be involved in church activities? After her graduation, what is her next line of action? Due to her excellent performance, she was given admission to study for her masters in International Law in New York University; she also got admission into LSE ( London School of Economics) and also to UCLA and other universities in Colombia for her masters. You went to Jerusalem many years ago. After you returned, there have been miracles taking place in your church. What happened to you there? I have been in the field of God's work before that trip. During the crisis in Libya, nationals of many countries were sent home by their national governments. News reached Emmanuel TV in May, however that there were 300 Nigerians in prison in Libya that had not yet been brought back. Many were pregnant and many had been killed. They urged Prophet T.B. Joshua to air their plight on Emmanuel TV so the presidency could be made aware and intervene in their affair. PREDICTION by maverick Nigerian preacher TB Joshua of random shooting by an American gunman has come to pass with reports confirming the killing of 12 people while 38 were wounded. CNN reported Friday morning that James Holmes, 24, kicked down a door to enter the packed theatre in Aurora, Colorado, while dressed in a black mask and a bullet-proof vest. The dangerous gunman then threw a smoke grenade and waited for it to explode before firing randomly into the audience using what is believed to be an assault rifle. He also used at least two hand guns, according to reports. The bloody-thirsty man was later arrested by police and is in custody. He is set to appear in court facing murder charges. On the 10th June, in a televised Sunday service on Emmanuel TV, TB Joshua told thousands of congregants at the Synagogue Church of All Nations to pray for the United States because he saw what he described as “a gunman with a gun” randomly fatally shooting scores of people. “I see near or in a barrack a member of the military whether it’s navy or what but he will shoot many people before he gets arrested,” he said then. The story was first reported by ZimEye . The prophet warned that the shooting will occur in the same way a blood thirsty man in Norway, last year, shot and killed innocent people. TB Joshua defended his prophecies saying he was saying bad things because God wanted him to expose Satan. TB Joshua said the idea to expose the evils that will befall people was to urge Christians to pray against death or the accidents in a bid to shame the devil. TB Joshua has in the past given prophesies that have come to pass including the death of Malawi President Bingu wa Mutharika. After the death of wa Mutharika, TB Joshua receiveda tongue-lashing with some including Zimbabwe’s Professor Jonathan Moyo accusing him of being a false prophet and an architect of an intelligence operation to kill the Malawi president. The Daily Mail reported that Aurora police confirmed that 12 people including a 12-year old died in the horrific attack. About 10 victims were still inside the theatre at the time of writing. Love him or hate him, he is a public figure that can not be ignored. Nigerians have become notorious for trickery and bribery the world over. Their notoriety is so wide spread that in some places just possessing a Nigerian passport draws the trail of the police. In almost every country there are crooks and honest people, Nigeria is no exception. The good news is that all is not rotten, in the basket of rottenness. But what is it that makes T. B. Joshua unique. By the way, I am neither his fan nor his foe.Below find things that T.B. Joshua does, which other men of God don't. These are the things that make him a darling of the people despite the negative publicity campaign by his fellow church men and the media. 1. His charity work He is not the richest when compared to the other Nigerian pastors who are reputedly super rich. One has five personal jets. Just one similar jet stirred controversy in Malawi when our president bought it, but a certain Nigerian pastor has five of them. Some own big hotels, printing presses, limousines, and big companies. The irony is, you hardly hear of them giving to the poor, the widows, the lame and the blind. T.B. Joshua gives liberally, giving out even cars while others are stockpiling them in their compounds. He gives scholarships and his ministry has helped educate many people up to university level. 2. His humility He is a down to earth person. He mingles with people, breaks down his English so people can understand while mending marriages and hearts of people. He is seen having lunch with old people, the lame and what have you. He is seen comforting people and many times he has been heard telling childless parents that he will be their child. He jokes freely with all while most of the men of God we know, believe in being serious, and by that I mean living a separated life and mingling with nobody. 3. His father heart He is the only one I know, and I stand to be corrected, who has identified and recruited people, and is training them in his own church. He is exposing them and even allows them to appear on the television alongside him. Sometimes he even goes back stage while they take charge of the services. Show me any other minister or leader who has done that. All the others make sure that the television is off limit for any budding or aspiring preacher. If you find them grooming someone, then, be sure, he is one of their kin and folk, otherwise, NO WAY!! Some feel so insecure that they have to rush home leaving meetings so that nobody preaches apart from them. 4. He is no globe trotter Seems like this man knows his mission field – Nigeria. He rarely goes out of his country. He has the courage to send some of his boys to the United States of America to do ministry. This is a direct opposite of what the ministers we know are doing. This T. B. Joshua man is never excited with foreign trips which others would quickly take up at the expense of their local flock. He is different. People find him where he is based. People from European countries have to swallow their pride and go to Nigeria if they want him. What a contrast to most preachers we know. I have deliberately left out issues to do with the way he ministers. Not all people agree on that, that's why others brand him "controversial". These issues are more theological than otherwise and as you know, the pew man is not conversant with theological issues. I want you to know that morality have nothing to do with riches and popularity, remember that the people you just mention their name are satanist. The average America child smoke and drink alcohol, many of them have no respect for their parent. America celebrate sex, all the immoral act will see in the world today originated from them. |
