Youths in Imo State have staged a protest demanding justice for over 10 youths of the area who were reportedly killed by state local security outfit Ebubeagu.

The protesting youths, who are indigenes of the Awo-mamma community in Oru East and Oru West Local Government Areas of the state, barricaded the Onitsha-Owerri Expressway on Tuesday, calling for the disbandment of Ebubeagu.

However, the Department of State Security (DSS) said that contrary to the views of the protesting youths, the killing was carried out by members of the militia wing of IPOB/ESN who gathered to plan their nefarious operations ahead of the illegal sit-at-home on Monday.

The killing took place on Sunday.

According to reports, the victims were returning to their community in Otulu in Oru East LGA from Awomama in the neighbouring Oru West LGA when gunmen suspected to be operatives of Ebubeagu opened fire on them.

The DSS, however, said the gunmen were not operatives of Ebubeagu and that they view that they were from the local security outfit was being peddled by IPOB/ESN members.

The founder of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche, has slammed politicians that he claimed people have rejected who find ways to get themselves into power.

He said this in a video which he shared on his TikTok page on Tuesday.

Enenche said, “Is it not a shame? People say they don’t want you (but) you spend money to impose yourself on them. You should lead because they want you, because they need you, people are happy with you. It is people that you are leading that should determine whether they want you or not.”

He called on Nigerians to speak up irrespective of their status in the society saying “Silence most times means consent, if you are silent about evil, (it) means that you are in agreement with the evil.”

The terrorists that attacked and abducted passengers of a Kaduna-bound train are responsible for Kuje Prison attack, Mallam Tukur Mamu, Media Consultant and publisher, has said.
Mamu, who has been in talks with the terrorists, stated this in a statement issued in Kaduna on Wednesday.

Mamu said before the attack, he shared intelligence with the authorities but they failed to act. “I can confirm without doubt that the Kuje Correctional Centre attack was executed and coordinated by the same group that attacked the Abuja-Kaduna bound train, because they gave indications of imminent attacks to that effect which I shared.”

“For the records, they requested for the release of 51 of their members. But through power of dialogue and engagement, I single handedly scaled that number to only 10 and communicated with audio backing the development to the relevant authorities.

“There was unnecessary delay on giving them even a precise feedback by the government and now they have not only succeeded in carrying out another successful attack that indicts the nature of our intelligence and capacity to respond promptly but have also succeeded in releasing dozens of their members which would have been averted if action had been taken to give them only ten and secure the release of the train victims.
“In all this risky, painful and frustrating engagement which government is yet to acknowledge and appreciate I have more than 100 documented audios that I shared with the relevant authorities. For the purpose of this important press release and to authenticate my claims, I will also share 4 of the latest audios,” he said.

In what will come across as a really heartbreaking development, a teenage girl who works as a housemaid has made some startling allegation against her mistress.

The girl, who identified herself as Chidimma, serving as a home help in Warri, Delta State in the South-South region of Nigeria, has cried out over how her mistress beats her almost every night for refusing to lick her private parts and suck her breasts.

In a video clip that is two minutes, 38 seconds long that was seen by SaharaReporters, Chidimma, who said she is from Imo State in the Southeast region of Nigeria, insisted that she wished to return to her parents as she could no longer endure her mistress' cruelty and sexual assaults.

She, however, did not mention the name of her mistress and efforts to get it were not successful as of the time of filing this report.

The 10-year-old girl who spoke in pidgin English said, “My aunty came to our village and told my parents that she wanted someone who would be taking care of her children because she is not always at home. I agreed to follow her but sometime after we came to Warri, when I wanted to sleep in the night, she would come and wake me up and ask me to suck her private parts and her breasts and if I refused to lick them, she would slap me.

“Sometimes if I refused to do it when I was sleeping, she would come to me and march on me with her two legs and ask me to stand up. She would then force me to suck her private parts and I would climb on her to suck her breasts which have chicken pox.

“When I finished sucking, she would ask me to bring my torch and insert it in my private parts. But when I could not do it, she forcefully pushed me out, shouting at me and asking why I could not do what she wanted me to do at my age

“I was worried that at my age, this woman wanted to deflower me. My mother never taught me anything like that.

“For three months now, whenever I am sleeping in the middle of the night, she would wake me up and force me to do that and when she notices that her children are looking at us, she would shift her body away from me. I am 10 years old but she has made me look as if I am 13 years old
