Amen oh, Grants just dey flow up and down..God is really faithful. Congrats bhanjjie, enyinna, STaviez. Make una do come join me, I arrived Sydney yesterday Australian night, this place fine no be small, I feel like am in heaven. I didn't bother using IOM, the stress was too much, so I used SOUTH AFRICAN AIRWAYS, d fair was cheaper compared to Emirate and Etihad that were 380k ish, SAA was just 242k almost d same price IOM offered me, and d service was 1st class, I felt like VIP self, even if I no sabi as other airline dey, cos this is my 1st time leaving 9ja. So for those in abuja, SAA are doing promo, N242,000, IOM fair was similar with TAX included, and you don't have to stress your self heading to Lagos. For those expecting their grants, please be patient, God is at work.

Hello Guys,
I just got my grant this afternoon. see my timeline

Lodged application : 10th November 2015 at Teleperformance
Request for Medicals: 19th January, 2016
Grant date: 1st February, 2016

I did not front load my medicals so I assume that accounted for the long wait.

Thank you
Wow 10th of Nov!!! That's really serious. Congracts MRAYA.....what subclass?

Congrats Graham.... received my visa grant this afternoon as well 573, I think after Graham got his. Lodged on the 27th of Nov, got to Pretoria on the 3rd of Dec and a decision was made today. Am so happy but don't know how to express it, the long wait has really made me weak, but the wait was worth it. Thanks Gurus in da building, you guys were really helpful... STaviez I can't wait to hear your good news soonest, and everyone expecting theirs.

Thanks, all the best in advance as well. Pretoria told you 4th of Feb? I applied 27th Nov, If that's the case mine will definitely be this week.

Anything yet?
Nothing yet, I mailed Pretoria again, and they finally replied stating that it will be finalised soon. So am still hopeful
TravelRe: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by alcreas: 9:40pm On Jan 15, 2016
Am very positive am under SVP, my COE stated SVP on it as well. The mail I got from Teleperformance was sent by the 'M.D- South Africa Australia Contact Team Teleperformance', although the mail I sent was directly to the Abuja branch Nigeria where I lodged my application. Honestly, I was confused and curious as well, cos I believe SVP doesn't usually take this long to process...but let me chill on the fact that my CO might have been on leave or something...just keeping hope alive

Brother the truth is those teleperformance guys no know anything compare to info guys have here. i was chocked the day i went there. certain questions i already know the answer to i asked them again out of curiosity but brother the fun-bu and believe this are question whose answers are on DIBP site. the truth is i think Trigger is right on the 30 days count and according to that u are suppose to receive ur grant on the 8th January 2016, but remember the could be uncertainty like case officer who is not always on sit or so. but i blive by next week u will receive a big email.
Alright then, you guys have made a lot of sense, let me choose to ignore that Teleperformance mail and be optimistic against next week. Sorry if I weakened any hope concerning d long wait..its just frustrating. Thanks for the response Tragger n Kenneth
TravelRe: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by alcreas: 7:25pm On Jan 15, 2016
Honestly, I don't understand dis 30days countdown or 3weeks count down as well for SVP. I applied on the 27th of Nov 2015, 573 under SVP, but till date I haven't heard anything from Pretoria. I sent them an email a week ago cos the wait was just something else, but I haven't gotten any reply either. So out of curiosity I emailed Teleperformance where I lodged my visa application, stating to know the delay and this was their reply....."SVP/streamlined visa's are done online, not at the application centre. If you have lodged a paper application, the processing time is up to three months. Therefore you are still within the processing time, there is no delay. You should get feedback on the outcome of your application by the 27/1/2016 if you have applied on the 27/11/2015, which is three months".
So my question is this, are all SVP done online? And those of us that lodged paper application, does it mean ours would take longer duration, even if we are under the SVP as well?

Hw can an exam held inside National Centre for Women Development abuja be a scam, a Parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social
Development...opposite CBN for dat matter. If u were present on dah day u wuld ve noticed Uniformed coordinators, i tink Civil defence or so...can't really recollect, and of course a director of one of d parastatals of FMTI was present which was announced. We re all graduates, by nw we shuld believe in what we See n nt what we heard....
Well during dis long wait i was opportune to meet a young guy who works at NEPZA abuja, he told me he received him appointment letter July 2014, which got me scared and thinking until he said he wrote his exam sometime early 2013, and on receiving d letter d date was backdated to January 2014...and he was paid d whole jan to july salary! Hearing dat alone quenched my long impatience...so i think d wait will be worth it after all. God bless us all.
Consummateworld, i don't kw what u ve against Ginvest...if you ve been scammed its ur problem not ours, stop bringing false information here plz, no one asked us for bribe...and who told u FG don't contact people tru sms?...we were just been briefed on what we would expect wen the appointment letters re released, were u expecting to be asked to come all d why frm lagos or any other state to abuja jst to be briefed on where u were posted, because u want authenticity?..."Ignorance"..., yes most people didn't apply but got deployment sms we know, infact it makes it more authentic even, this is FG 9ja its bound to happen,if it doesn't happen i will personally ask why... everyone should carry his or her cross oh abeg.
I live in abuja, but to be frank i haven't gotten time to visit FMTI, i ve other tins doing...but i was able to contact this same guy working at NEPZA, Ginvest conducted dsame exam he wrote b4 he got this Job at NEPZA, would ve loved to dropped his contact so u can confirm yourselves bt don't wanno violate any law here, so plz Consummateworld and every one who still has personal reasons to doubt Ginvest shuld sort themselves out.... We will get our letters by Gods grace, let's just be patient and prayerful, at the same time prepare for the worse, this is 9ja where anytin can happen.
