LMAO.

This guy na first class mumu o..

Lol..

You implied AAUA hasn't' produced more than one NLS first class graduate because it was created not long ago(15 years)

I countered you that even within that timeframe(15 yrs ago till now),OAU has produced many of such compared to AAUA's 1.

Your mumuism is incurable,honestly.

Lemme do you the favour of halting this frivolous argument..Lol.

Pele..Get well soon..Lol.
sad sad OAU has produced more first class within than time frame (those 15 years) simply because the number of intelligent peeps that chose to go to OAU are far far far greater than the intelligent ones that chose AAUA

Oh my good Jesus make this bro to get my point. Please. I can't believe comprehension can be this difficult sad

True, but more often than not,you would find out that most big(brilliant) players(students) play for the big clubs(schools). But that does not mean that anybody who played/plays for the big teams is better than all that played/plays for the smaller teams. These things are individual dependent.

Examples abound where big players are found playing for the smaller teams, eg Maradona and Napoli, Henry and Arsenal, Batistuta and Fiorentina, etc.

Okocha never played for the big teams(no disrespect to PSG) but Mikel though a chelsea player is not even half the player Okocha was.
God bless you jare!

little wonder our graduates are not regarded. Yes, they bagged first class from the NLS, but that would be the first time someone from their schools, made first class @ the NLS. It is not that someone has not made a first class there, but certainly not someone from the schools they came from.

It is just like the hype that would accompany Nigeria winning the world cup, it won't be because the world cup has never been won, but because no African nation has won it before.

Do you get it now or is there a need for you to break it down to me like a nursery school pupil?
Yes I really do need to break it down for you.
@ least for God's merciful sake. sad
alentyno:

1. OAU is an old school thus there is every chance of it producing more 1st class!!!
E.g man city defeated man utd last sunday but United have 20 epl titles to their while man city has just 4 but doesn't it mean that man utd is the better team right now? NO!!

2. A high % of bright students seek admission into all these hyped schools like OAU so that they can garner respect from their peers
So @ the end of the day if a lot of them graduate with 1st class it doesn't mean it is due to the school!!!!!! It is basically down to their intelligence

GET THIS INTO YOUR DAMN SKULL!!!!

Christiano ronaldo is a fantastic footballer because he sacrificed time and energy to develop himself not because he is in real madrid

Hope you get it now or do you still want me to break it all the way down to pre-nursery level? undecided

And even if my reasoning were to be indeed appalling, yours would be more appalling.

Why?..In her 15 years of existence,AAUA has produced just one while within the same timeframe(15 yrs),I can authoritatively tell you that OAU has produced nothing less than five of them!
Can you now see how warped your reasoning is?
Good lord! Please stop making mockery of your self. Since comprehension is one of your weakest point, let me arrange it well for you

OAU last session law finalists were not among the just-graduated NLS students due to the the disruption of the school calendar caused by an internal strike.

Infact, they had to enlist those with carry-overs from the sets previous to theirs just to fill the quota allocated to them with something.

Out of the 250 slots allotted to OAU,not even up to 100 students were shortlisted.

And FYI,while AAUA is just producing her first Law School First class graduate,OAU has produced innumerable number of them.

Even not just OAU but as well as other Universities listed in your comments.

In my opinion, it is much easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for students to make first class in these institutions.
1. Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA)
2. University of Ibadan (UI)
3. Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)
4. University of Benin (UNIBEN)
What's your view?
My view is:

You think people who make 1st class are extremely excellent while forgetting how good you can be if only you believe in yourself or believed in yourself (if you are a graduate)

Wake up! It is 2014!
None of the students from the alma maters you just mentioned came top @ the just conclude Nigeria Law School'ss final exam

The peeps that got 1st class in the recent Law school exams were from two lowly rated varsities
