Please House!!

If I have a starting balance of 4M and a final balance of 30M(my dad sent the sponsorship money to my account and I explained with receipts in my statement)...

But in my 6 months bank statement, I received 1M from someone and sent 900k to someone. Are the 1M and 900k transactions considered lumpsums?

I also added documents to show that he is ordained and documents to show the church he pastorss. I even mentioned that he has a farm.
Shakitibob0:
The question is how did he earn up to that amount?

Does he get monthly salary working as a pastor? You need to prove it bro

Thanks a lot.

My school fees is $12k.
My POF was almost 40M(naira).

My dad is a pastor and I uploaded documents to show that he is an ordained man of God(his seminary certificates) and supporting documents to show the church he pastors.

askarachi:
Sorry about the denial.

How much is your tuition and how much did you use for Pof?

What work documents did you attach exactly ?

Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AlexanderBusayo: 11:37pm On Nov 16, 2023
Please everyone!!!

So my first application got denied on the basis of the Visa Officer not being convinced I have enough funds to foot my tuition and stay in Canada.
After this, I asked my dad(my sponsor) to send the funds to my account.

I am about to apply again after gathering enough information from this great platform. But then I got my GCMS note saying I didn't show evidence of how my dad acquired his funds(even though I added his work documents).

Now my question is this, even though he has transferred the funds to my account and I will be explaining that in my SOP, do I still need to show proof of how my dad acquired the funds he is sponsoring me with?

Good morning every one, and happy Sunday.

Is possible to track or submit webforms for gcms note request?

It's been over way over 1 month that I requested for the note yet no response. Time is running out and I need to submit my second application soon. Please what can I do?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AlexanderBusayo: 1:00pm On Nov 04, 2023
Hello, please can you shed more light on how you submitted the webforms?
Can I message you outside this platform?

CannyNomad:

Hi Ozone. Just wanted to chip this in. I think we underestimate the power of sending web forms. In my case, after waiting 4 weeks, I sent a webform, my medical was updated to passed. A week later, I was impatient and sent another webform. Eligibility started the next day and PPR the next. I belive IRCC are dealing with volumes and sometimes applications get forgotten in the matrix. Although yours is still early days. Wish you all the best!

Hello, Please can I send you a message to review mine too?

Yes, you pay per course. It's 15 courses that you can finish between 15 to 24months.

Big congratulations. I tap into this grace as well.

Please can I message you outside this platform? I have some specific questions about some documents you mentioned.

bettyomo:
It finally ended in praise.

When I decided to try Canada, I never thought study route was for me due to age. Until one day on this forum I read a post of a 50 year old who was granted study permit. My course is Global Business Management different from my undergraduate degree (Law).

First study permit application:
After I submitted my application, i realised that it would not fly due to one lump sum payment of 14M credited to my account 5 days before i printed out my statement. The account had low opening balance. Even though I pinned it in my SOP as payment for sale of land with sale agreement, I was not convinced due to GCMS notes I read later on this forum where VO made comments on lump sum desposits as reason for refusal. I saw that some persons were able to convince VO but I know say my case be one kind. So I jeje withdrew the application to avoid stories that touch. I first withdrew my admission for September 2023 intake as my school does not defer and due to time needed to work on my account, I applied and was admitted to same school for Spring 2024 intake.

First application Timeline
Submission: 21st April, 2023
Withdrawal request: 30th April, 2023
Request approved: 3rd June, 2023
(I applied for GCMS notes via ATIP on 10th June and received it on 7th July. In the note there was a comment that Certicate of Incorporation included but no particulars of Director or Proprietor. So in my second application, I included that)

I left the 14M in my account as opening balance and worked on the account for 4 months. I tried as much as possible to avoid lump sum deposits and withdrawals. The introduction of I & E window showed me shege.

Second application
Submission: 14th August, 2023
Upfront Medical : 16th August, 2023
Biometrics: 17th August, 2023 ( updated 18th August, 2023) as completed)
Applied for CBSA notes: 30th August, 2023 (to know the status of medical)
Upfront Medical passed: 11th September, 2023
On 19th September, 2023: Sent several webforms and emails to Nairobi and London. Only London responded that it's office is not processing my application. I got just the generic response from Nairobi

I read here too that enquiries by MP triggers IRCC to process delayed application so on Saturday, 23rd September, 2023, i sent mails to 4 MP's. I got response on monday. 2 responded that they can only attend to people within their riding and one sent a mail that IRCC was contacted on my behalf that my application was under review and within processing time. I come say make I rest until after the 7th week I refire again.

Surprisingly on 27th September, 2023 that same week eligibility review started and that same day I received a mail to forward identification for cbsa note. I forwarded immediately.
Passport request: 29th September, 2023
Bvl: 29th September, 2023

CBSA note not yet received.

Documents submitted.
My Firstbank MBS 4 months
FCMB MBS joint account
Zenith domicilary account MBS for my Common Law Partner ( He is part of my hometie)
Professional certificates and certificate of service.
School documents. ( I did not include transript)
Recommendation letter and paid study leave approval from employer. My office too wrote that management position is waiting for me.
3 months Payslip
Recommendation letter from a company I consult with stating they have ready job for me when I graduate as a Business Development Manager.
My Common law partner's passport bio page with dubai stamp to show our Vacation in Dubai
Pictures with my partner
Family pictures with my parents and siblings
My parents international passport.
Court order appointing me as guardian for one of my nephew
Retainership contract with a company to show source of funds.
Landed documents for both of us and one joint landed document
Tenancy Agreement with receipt of payment of rent in both names
Driver license showing joint address.
Lease Agreement and receipt for rental of my landed Property.
SOP
Certificate of Incorporation for my Common Law Partner
Certificate of Incorporation for a Foundation I am a Trustee.
Screen munch of my school's tuition estimator cos the LOA was not specific on the amount for one year tuition. I imputed the units required for graduation to show tuition fee for 2 years course.
Affidavit to abide by conditions of study permit.
Affidavit of financial support and letter of financial support.
Birth Certificate

Application for admission and study permit done by me with so much help and resources from this platform. Although it was an herculean task but I give God all the glory.

Thanks a lot for this.
JMG12:
Hello, this is a mistake a lot of applicants make when using a sponsor, You should have used your account and your dad's account because all the money can't be in your sponsor's account. And your sponsor can't use all his money to sponsor you even if the account balance is above the stated amount or as calculated. Try to remedy the situation before reapplying

Thanks a lot for this.

zubizareta:

You working and not attaching supporting docs is one error spotted, then also your dad's supporting docs will also be scrutinized to justify having such huge amount of money. And finally, the SOP. I think the reason for the denial is kind of obvious. If you want to reapply immediately then you have to handle it holistically and approach it properly with a detailed SOP covering all loopholes.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AlexanderBusayo: 5:38pm On Sep 29, 2023
Thanks for your response.

So the course is a diploma course. the total school fees is 12k and you are not allowed to pay until it is time to begin registration of the courses.

For supporting documents for my dad, I attached supporting documents to prove that he is a clergyman and also documents to support his source of income.

I added that I currently work with a company but no supporting documents about it.
zubizareta:

First what's the total Tuition of the program, what's the duration and how much did you pay?

As for your father, what supporting docs did you attach to prove source of funds, any unexplained lump sums and volatile balance?
How is the sop? Economic ties??
Are you working or doing business? If any of the above, what supporting docs did you attach. These and many more you should answer

Hello, Please I need help!!

My VISA application for a study permit was refused and I plan to reapply soon.

But first I want to confirm what can be done to increase my chances in the next application.

The reason for the denial was that my asset and financial situation were insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel(my school fees is 12k).

I used my Dad as my sponsor, with over 30M as his account balance. Or is it advised to use my account instead of his and be self sponsored?(I'm 28)

Please what can I do to increase my chances of approval in my next application?
I really look forward to all your responses.

Thanks a lot.

Please This Is Important.

I want to ask, how do I transfer my profile from the old Canada immigration portal to the new one?

I have been having issues logging into the old one to check my application status.

Please if you have an idea about the process, it will be greatly appreciated if you share.
