Like how many applicants came for the verification in your state?
Do you have any idea on how many were sent invitation across the nation and the number they are expected to employ in this year recruitment.

My State of Origin Ebonyi state!!!Has about 100+ successful candidate, when I called the lady handle the list then,But during the verification exercise, we wer less than that figure, we wer about 80+ that attended the exercise, but a lot of people didn't meet up with the criteria, but their documents wer filed!!!

The number of people To be employed by minister of interior is 1,112 if you divide it by 36 state of the federation that will give you 30.88888888889, approximate it, it will give you 31per state!!

We are expecting a final list and not interview!!
This work has nothing to do with interview but physical strength, cuz it's para-military!!!
The training is enough to qualify for appointment or not, it one eventually scale through

Is age really going to matter in this recruitment? My friend who go the invite and went for d screening is 33 but he applied with a masters degree. Does he stand a chance?

It might bro!!!Maximum age is 30years for all the Position...
That's why they keen on primary school leaving certificate to actually ascertain the true age of people....My case was different sha, dey never asked for my birth certificate, maybe my FSLC is not that Old to ask for Birth certificate

My brother I am really surprised, because we gave them all our details there. They also called about 3 different persons that we exchange phone numbers during the screening. I believe
They are compiling the final list. Before this month end the list will be out to resume training.

This one they are calling you to confirm your qualification!!!!
This people are ready to employ everyone ooo!!!....
The way they handled us during screening shows that elimination is far from us!!i see no reason for them to call you, if eventually dey are looking for a way to screen people out or reduce the number of applicant...They would have just ignore your application form and move on!!!

What comes next after the verification exercise is training date after which if you scale through the training your appointment letter will be given to each and everyone one of the successful candidate....
Just like NYSC programme!!...

Bro, my woman is still serving and yet to get the NYSC discharge letter bt will be due for dat come next year April....other documents are intact...what is her hope of been selected cox she has been invited for d next phase of Npower screening

My name came out for immigration and N-power,people that didn't come with the complete requirements needed for immigration exercise was delayed for that, and am sure it will affect them!!!!

Naija na lag matter, if she or you have connec, I don't see that as a problem...let her try her luck, but it might be a set back for her during the verification exercise.....Good luck to her!!!

Go with Birth certificate,Primary school leaving certificate,NYSC discharge letter,Secondary wassce or neco,state of origin certificate,medical fitness report,University degree result,passport , pencil , and Nepa bill ,

Mine is almost the same with OP experience of 27th November immigration exercise 2017...
We reported to our place of meeting, it was moved from their command to hotel, reason is that the command is too small to accommodate us, am talking about Ebonyi State screening, that's my state of origin, we wer given a form to fill, after they introduce themselves and the reason wer are shortlisted, after filling the form, we wer lined up for physical examination, which is Height, w eight,Chest measurements,stage but in a Hotel hall, the Ac was friendly like the immigration officer's too, we enjoyed the screening cuz chilled drink and snacks wer shared to every candidate in the Hall, the screening lasted for 2-3hours before the exam we wer ask to step outside so that the chairs will be arranged for the exam!!The exam was cheap and before we wrote the exam they chilled us up, that we have made it this far, that we should be grateful to God, cuz is not easy to be there!!!....20-30minutes later everybody was done with the exam and dismissed like a smoke!!!
That was my fun experience with Nigeria Immigration Service in Ebonyi State

Nothing of such happened, but is a big blow to your name, if you don't have a long leg to back you up!!!!!
Try and go with other credentials that you have including your certificate of origin!!!

Well,I was invited but sincerely don't know any politician apart from the supreme being (GOD).
But for the yardstick for shortlisting ,that I don't know.
Due the officials from Abuja said IM works ,so as grace and merit works.

They said the same yesterday during the exercise that They know IM works so Merit works too!!!
That we are lucky to be shortlisted whether connection or not, but those that came in without IM should give a burnt offering, cuz it's not easy in this country to be shortlisted in such commission without hand and leg been involved,But as lucky has it GOD that is greater than humans did it for Us

I must say am the number one on the list of been shortlisted without a single connection!!!....I don't know a single ant or flies, but I was lucky to receive a mail from NIS and the physical and verification exercise was smooth, no marathon or any kinda of exercise really happened,unlike the previous recruitment.......
I know IM works, but I have a bigger and wider connection called God, who made impossibility to be possible
