If you have got BVL earlier this month April, it is positive already.

Since 2020, it's finally here.

I received just the Bvl on the old portal, saw the link to the new portal, signed in and Saw additional Information like visa document number and visa expiry date, but the all application is still in progress lol.

The old portal and new portal is same application, you don't have to reapply, I got my Bvl checked on the old portal, I saw a link for the new portal here on naira land, the new portal is just for additional Information.

I hope the new application won't tamper with the first one especially the same conference route again. If your agent says it is possible to apply for another conference, then the visa fee alone should be paid by you. Just saying... After all, what else?

And yes, you can track it using your UCI, APPLICATION NUMBER, NAME & D.O.B or so

If you are blessed financially, the study route would have been better and fast.

For me, I received BVL, still trying to check if there is a VISA DOCUMENT NUMBER attached or something.

The only message I got was the Biometric Validation. I don't know if that says my eligibility has started.

Secondly, the link to check is saying Error. Maybe my guess of not being for TRV applicants is wrong and possibly the problem from them. I don't know. I am confused

Regarding TRV. I also applied Nov 2020. Just received BVL yesterday 3rd April, 2023. Just wanted to verify two things:

1. Are they checking eligibility now? If yes, how many weeks, give or take, would that be for the decision/feedback?

2. I am guessing I don't need to reapply on the new portal, do I?

Seems the tracking page/link is not meant for TRV applicant.
In general, if Biometric Validation Information is sent to an application what next?

Frustration on Tourist Visa. Applied Nov/Dec. 2020. Did biometrics same December. Nothing yet till now. Not even a message.

I have applied for business vacation/pleasure/visiting and did Biometric since December 2020, nothing yet since then.

Nothing to do as no changes in my status regarding the condition to reapply.

It's boring already.

Hunn processing time presently is about 9 months so just remove your mind early update is always request for additional documents

Any update will be sent to your email

Goggle (check Canada processing time and you will see a section that ask if you want to check the status of your application click and you should be able to find your answer

So I sent my passport to VFS Lagos two way courier service DHL.

Although throughout the whole ordeal VFS didn’t send me any emails but I managed to contact them and get my tracking ID which I’ve been using to track my passport, now it has been stamped and returned to VFS Lagos. They wrote on the tracking site that it has been sent vide courier service. Then I decided to contact them again and they told me it has been sent with tracking number 5489*** which is the 2nd waybill number given to me by DHL. They told me again that it hasn’t been picked up by DHL and that I should contact DHL which I did. Now the DHL customer care told me she doesn’t understand what I’m talking about and I should go to the branch that did the service, which is quite far btw. Now my question is, for anyone that has used two way DHL courier service, is this the normal procedure? Is there anything I can do otherwise than traveling back to dhl office Lagos? I’ve tried this branch phone number but it’s saying invalid. Thanks

If you stay in Lagos, then nowhere is far. Just visit the location.

Good evening guys, I applied for a one year program for Sept 2021 and my passport would be expiring December 2021. Would it be advisable to apply like that with the almost expiring passport or I should get a new passport before I apply for the visa.

Try to renew the passport before applying. Your Chances right now are slim. A close friend waited and he's regretting it NOW. You won't be given 1-year visa on that passport if it's Canada you are going to. But the UK does.
