Lol. Obi who was woeful as a governor yet was projected as a Messiah while they forgot that Tinubu was voted because of what he did in Lagos. Such as Increasing Lagos economy at the time OBJ was working against him. While also birthing some projects such as BRT, LFTZ, Eko Atlantic etc.. Heck, Obi admitted that his daughter was employed by Lagos government.

Meanwhile, it was Igbo who voted along ethnic line even though Obi was woeful as a governor yet would be the one to play the victim while accusing others over what they actually did as seen below. Same way they played the victim over the civil war which was actually caused by their covetousness and wickedness.

God bless you. cool

The proof

You are only deceiving yourself if you try to give Igbos any proof.

You have to fear people that sell fake goods to you at the price higher than that of original and sold Obi as messiah to other Nigerians. πŸ˜‚

Imagine, I'm sure the egusi does not grow well in their land as well as say in south west and some other countries.

Egusi that has been a staple in the south west long before civilization they are claiming to be theirs, Yoruba even have many different ways of preparing it, even the ogbono they think belong to them grows well in Yoruba land and we call it Apon, if your land can cultivate it well then it it indeginious to you,
inferiority complex making them look for relevance up and down.

You said it all. πŸ’―

I went home to celebrate Easter and grandma prepared egusi soup for me,see let me tell you egusi belongs to the yoruba people. It originated from the SW states and I can tell you egusi can be used to make many stuffs by us
Now let me ask you can igbos make ewedu elegusi, robo elegusi, alapa. Even all this talk talk that igbos make soup most in nigeria I don't believe, go to calabar and all the SS states and see many of their precious delicacies that igbo people copied.
I wish to visit calabar soon honestly, their soups are the best

Igbos will copy from Calabar, copy from Yoruba, copy from Bini etc and later claim ownership or the best at it lol

Lol. It's the manipulation and misappropriation of facts I don't even like. Same way how some of the Igbos keep playing the victim over the civil war but forgot they were the wicked ones who started the whole thing in the first place by killing other regional leaders except the Igbos while they destroyed Nigeria's true Federalism. Not only just that, they wanted to steal other people's territories which weren't theirs after they asked for secession because the North retaliated the killing of their leaders in North by killing every Igbos in the North. Thus the Igbo asked for secession however in their evilness, they wanted to steal other people's territory heritage in addition. That was when the Yoruba joined the war because Yoruba territory was involved in the nonsense.

Basically, their wicked nature made them kill other people's leaders while they destroyed Nigeria's true Federalism.

Secondly, in their covetousness, they wanted to steal other people's heritage.

So why play the victim when you're the evil one to begin with?

On the second post, of course ewedu is a delicious lovely soup as seen below. Aside it's delicacy, it's medicinal.

On egusi, egusi is a Yoruba soup as its name implies, which is Yoruba name. "Egun si" in Yoruba means to Shred to add. It's an Orunmila's soup as a matter of fact.

Igbo don't have much soup to begin with. They were found eating Human flesh and leaves at the time they were found in the forest, thus, food varieties were introduced to them. Most of Igbo few soup today was got from several tribes. Egusi was got from the Yorubas, even as the names implies. As a matter of fact, it's an Orunmila's soup.

Also, Apon seeds don't grow in the southeast but rather in the rainforest. No where they could have seen Apon seeds to make ogbon lo. Apon seeds was introduced to them but they couldn't pronounce it, thus pronounced it as ogbon which has no meaning in Igbo language as a matter of fact. "lo" was added which probably means slimy in Igbo language, although it means "to grind" in Yoruba language.. Thus Apon was meant to be grinded "lo", which was later pronounced as ogbon lo by the Igbos.

Igbo also copied some soups from SS. That's all. All these were introduced to the Igbos in a bid to civilise the Igbo who were found eating Human flesh. In fact, Ajayi Crowther was part of those who introduced these foods to the Igbos. Naturally, that's Yoruba culture. People who are sick/unwell are first given varieties of food to eat in Yoruba culture. That's the first treatment administered by IFA. And that was exactly what Ajayi Crowther (who's a core Oyo) did for the Igbos at the time, in a bid to stop the cannibal Igbos from eating Human flesh. Igbo got egusi, Apon, Iyan, Garri, eba etc from the Yorubas. All the names are in Yoruba names.

Some good education. Everybody must read this.

Nice one man.

We don't have to run away from the name because it didn't originate from them. History of the crop and scientific studies on it do not give it to them. The crop belongs to West Africa with different names but egusi as a name is local to us. I have not said they don't have it too but we didn't borrow it from them. It's one of the ancient crops in Yoruba land and in many other parts of West Africa.

God bless you.

The soup belong to West Africa but we won't pretend Egusi is not a Yoruba word just to make Igbos feel good.

YOU POSTED THAT AND SHOT YOURSELF IN THE FOOT.

ELILI IS A GENERAL IGBO WORD THAT MEANS EATING, THE IGBOS HERE CAN TESTIFY.

ELILI COULD REFER TO THE MELON FRUIT ITSELF.

HOWEVER, THE SEED IS EGWUSI/EGUSI.

BOTH WORDS ARE EVEN SIMILAR AND END WITH I AND START WITH E.

IT SHOWS THEY ARE FROM SAME LANGUAGE.

So why is egwusi/egusi not in your dictionary in place of elili/enini?

I agree but the north will not rest till akpabio is gone.tinubu is a survivalist,he might sacrifice akpabio to save himself eventually. the best time to move against the north is 2027 not now

Tinubu is not stupid enough to allow a core Northerner to be a senate president going into 2027 elections.

SP is too sensitive to use to pacify the North.
