Politics / Re: If Peter Obi Was Sworn In, What Would Have Changed? by Alexis11: 12:35pm On Feb 11
youngrichnigga:
Peter Obi would have done better because there was no skeleton the Western powers could use on him to force his hands to take unconscientious decisions that this administration has taken. Tinubu bargained with the Western powers (UK, US,France etc) and their institutions like World Bank, IMF etc to implement all he is implementing in lieu of not releasing the damaging Chicago evidence and the drug saga truths that would have killed his presidential dream. Don't forget successive governments fought against it's total removal because they knew the implications and the IMF and World Bank couldn't force their hands because they did not have skeletons in their cupboards. We are in for a long ride because he cannot renege on those promises; that's why those who voted him should have known that the baggage he carries were not child's play, we await the next draconian policy from him undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided

Beer parlour talks as always. grin

At times I start to wonder where the man gets his strength, he was like this as governor of Anambra, he was everywhere everytime, stretching to solve problems at the base. He gave succour and comfort to as many people as he came across, he visited people at their houses, rich or poor. He bought things in the market, noted prices himself, walked in mud, if his people are walking in it.

He felt what the people felt.

Lol... Lies lies and more lies grin

Lol is this the way good advice works?

At this point, Tinubu is still your problem. Don't secure yourself with whatever you have. Tinubu is guarded to the point that, except for natural death nothing fit reach am.

Protect your head and that of loved ones. We too much for this country. One policeman to a 50 to 100 Nigerians and you expect a miracle.

Don't mind all of them. Let them keep shouting Tinubu like deranged eedio.t grin

What has being Igbo got to do with this?
Anyway my small business had to be closed down indefinitely because of Tinubu and his policies.

Sorry for what Tinubu policies did to your business. I pray you get help bro, and I really pray things turn around for you pretty soon, but if you see the way your kinsmen drag any Yoruba that seek for help on social media you will understand the reason for that comment.

Humanity seems to have left many people because of partisan politics.

Abrupt removal is the best way to remove it. Making so much noise about it before removal will only make it worse.

Politics / Re: Western Union, Moneygram, Others To Pay Nigerians In Naira Instead Of Dollars by Alexis11: 3:37am On Feb 10
MasterTeeUSA:
I know some Nigerians working virtually will hate this policy...but you will never find a sane country that allows you to keep accounts in foreign currencies, and pay you in foreign currencies. If you send Western Union to the USA, you get paid in dollars...same in the UK. Why would all these money transfers pay in dollars? This has made the speculations and BDCs a lucrative business...I am guilty of sending to Mallam that collect in dollars and resell too at high prices driving up the exchange. This is a good policy in my opinion...feel free to share your thoughts without insults. Show maturity!!!

Obidients are still sleeping, they are coming to insult you when they wake up. They don't even have to understand your point or the subject of discussion, they are just coming to insult you for "likes". grin

Obi's followership was built on religion and trîbè, to sell it, they have to manufacture audio competence which the only parameter they can use is that Obi saved money, how much was saved from how much, we cañ't tell.
Saving money in a state with huge infrastructural deficiency is a big plus in their eyes because they must sell their agenda.

Lol he saved state money in a bank where he's a stakeholder. State money generating interest for an individual... Is God not wonderful? grin

Still, the debt on ground doubled the amount in bank.

Today they act like Obi will do excellently well in government whereas he was a complete faiIure of a governor.

They know but because they have brainwashed many innocent minds, selling ethnic agenda in the name of "Obidient movement" that is why they are always angry with anybody that expose the lies and hypocrisy about their fake messiah.

not all Igbo want obi to be president, not all Hausa/ Fulani want ATIKU to be president. Democracy is all about choice, it has nothing to do with tribe or religion

Don't mind them, because their own decision has to do with tribe and religion, they believe everybody's decision is influenced by same.

Obi supporters have a probIem, the probIem with u foIks is that u make supporting a particular candidate about trîbè and reIigion whereas urs that's centred on tribe and religion is tagged patriotism, the Yorubas just like lgb0s, Hausa-Fulani, Urhobos, Ishekiris, ogoni, Tiv, Igala, idoma, Ibirom, etc etc etc all have their choice of candidate, the choice could be on any ground, u foIks dón't have the right to critîcize someone's eIse choice, this is the reason why the last election heated up so much, questioning other people's choices like urs is better.

Well said.

A quick transcript of the person they promoted to "messiah" and want to foist on all Nigerians because of tribalism....

Still, Obi has not added a single supporter since the last election. If Obi is on the ballot in the next election, I will rather vote a diseased dog. grin

It is worse in Anambra.

An Igbo lady who had lived in Lagos since childhood said Anambra was the only place where she experienced agbero collecting your phone with planks.
