Peter Obi would have done better because there was no skeleton the Western powers could use on him to force his hands to take unconscientious decisions that this administration has taken. Tinubu bargained with the Western powers (UK, US,France etc) and their institutions like World Bank, IMF etc to implement all he is implementing in lieu of not releasing the damaging Chicago evidence and the drug saga truths that would have killed his presidential dream. Don't forget successive governments fought against it's total removal because they knew the implications and the IMF and World Bank couldn't force their hands because they did not have skeletons in their cupboards.
