I as a moderator work with the rules and I am not shy about using my powers to enforce them with little or no apologies.

Despite our differences which sadly was imposed by Seun, I must say that I admire the way you have composed yourself thus far. For me, I believe it shows your level of maturity and I am getting to understand why you seem to be a favourite of Seun.

Yea, I know a number of persons (if not all) would disagree with this but still, despite all the hate posts and all, you have managed to keep your eyes focused on the task at hand. This is one trait a good leader cannot do without.

Kudos to you and Seun and I am indeed glad I got to see this side to your person. This does not mean that I agree with some of the decisions Seun made in the recent past (especially as it has to do with MMW and you being the temporary mod) but still you indeed have earned my respect.

I hereby apologize for adding Maclatunji as a temporary religion section moderator.

I should have known that non-Muslim Nairalanders wouldn't be happy with the decision.

I have decided to appoint another muslim to stand in his place until I've appointed the 2 born again Christian moderators that I promised to appoint.

What do you think about this?

ogugua88: I believed that the main issue was Maclatunji being mod in this section. I hope I wasn't wrong.

Seun has promised that mukina2's moderating this section is temporary. Rather than complain until a temporary Christian is added, I'd suggest returning to Tgirl's thread and finding permanent replacements ASAP so that this section can normalize. My 2 cents.

A born again Christian cannot moderate a section comprising of atheists, 7th day adventists, catholics, eckankar, Jehoval's witnesses, Olumba-Olumba, Methodists, Anglicans & Pentecostals..


Aside the pentecostals, the word "Born-Again" is irrelevant to all other religion under the auspices of the Christiandom...

You may have to re-consider your intention or better still, split the section and let everyone mind his/her belief...
