Politics / Re: Biafra: Was Gowon Clueless? by Algebra12: 2:19pm On Dec 31, 2014
Noblezone you are asking why?

As if the reason is not obvious enough??

Jonathan is an infidel from the east who doesn't merit to be the president of Nigeria. He must be subject to the born-to-rule people.

Otherwise tell me why GMB is now seen as our messiah, when we had already said no to him 3 consecutive times?

Oh and don't forget, a lot of oil mining licenses are due for renewal in 2016.

BTW did you forget that this BOKO thing was actually orchestrated to make Nigeria ungovernable for GEJ??

All these are a grand plot aimed at one thing. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but there is no other explanation I see.

I don't know if its just me, but I noticed that APC supporters on NL avoid threads that depict good works from govt, but feast on any perceived negatives on the path of govt.

Opposition does not mean being enemy to progress, but providing alternative ideas to policies they disagree with. opposition doesn't have to wait till it gets into govt to effect changes, it lobbies to get its point of view to sell. Good a thing, APC has majority in the lower chamber, so what change has those thieves wrought to convince us that APC is better?

Honestly, we need to re-examine the kind of politics we play in this land.

Thank you.

Look at this one feasting on another's work because it's favourable... The thing that faults that review is even with that, even with that, he seems to be the one that has led the least corrupt government. A dollar was 2 naira and he even tried kidnapping a corrupt individual that fled Nigeria so he can come pay for his crimes. I don't have to do your homework for you.

So you defence is the bolded.

Give me a break, Lady.

So you are willing to give up the chance of a better less corrupt Nigeria for the fear of loosing romance section?
Smh

Insurmountable economic problems plagued the Buhari regime as petroleum prices collapsed in the face of expanding foreign debt. Buhari instituted austerity measures that caused severe hardship to the average Nigerian. In addition, political corruption continued unabated, with politicians escaping to Western countries with millions of dollars in government money. In an effort to stop dissension, Buhari instituted restrictions on the press, political freedoms, and trade unionists. By August 1985 even the military had had enough, and Ibrahim Babangida took control of the government. Buhari was detained in Benin City but was released at the end of 1988.

Politics / Re: The Clamour For GEJ Re-election Is It Based On What? by Algebra12: 11:56am On Dec 24, 2014
Udpconcept:
The clamour is it based on sentiment or reality? please my fellow nigerians, I really want to know on which base should we re-elect a leader? should it be based on competent, religion, tribe, region or achievement.

The question should be; why the clamour for GMB?

Is it based on ethnicity, religion or cos he is the only person who can salvage Nigeria?

Mind you, GMB was head of state at age 43, that is 39 years ago. You don't mean to tell me that of over 160 million Nigerians, the coup plotter and the man who banned freedom of speech and actually prosecuted those who dared him, is the only person qualified.

Tell me its not out of sentiment you want to vote him.
Politics / Re: I Feel Sorry For Goodluck Jonathan- Etcetera by Algebra12: 3:37pm On Dec 23, 2014
Ohhooooo!!!! But he has been blamed for introducing tribalism and religion into Nigerian politics.

He has been accused of all corrupt practices even when a DG of NYSC used 800million dollars to build a website.
While all he had done was sign the FOI bill that give people the freedom to expose these misdealing.

Yet we clamor for he who gaged the press no matter whether they are telling the truth and went on to prosecute those who dared him.

I am really sorry for GEJ

Rubbish post!

Hope you also have time to prepare a post on how to be outstandingly corrupt and incompetent as a president!
You will call it rubbish because its about your demi god.

The truth only shall set you free! Bringing GMB back to power will only aggravate the problems of this country because he has never been a nationalist.

You should vote for Buhari because of the following reasons:
Buhari will never say stealing is not corruption
Buhari will never let EFCC,ICPC,NAFDAC etc be in the position they are presently
Buhari have been tested just for less than 2 years before and i know you were toddler then and we all see the achievement.
Buhari will not repeat the anti-masses, failed and insufficient policies of President Jonathan.
- Buhari's administration will not continue the inaction of President Jonathan irrespective of where or what the problem is.

- The Corruption, embezzlement and stealing presided over by Dr. Goodluck Jonathan will not be allowed to continue under Buhari.
- Crime against Nigeria and her citizens by politicians and their agents will be brought to Justice.

- Government Agencies will be strengthened to perform and will be headed by competent Nigerians.
- The Cabals that have influenced and frustrated Jonathan will not have such influence over Buhari.

- A new APC led Federal Government will work harder for the interest of Nigerians to distinguish themselves from the PDP.
- Anyone that tells you that APC and PDP are the same and will produce the same result is lying to your face.

But Buhari will say Abacha never stole Nigerian Money??
But Buhari will not work for the press freedom (Decree 4 comes to mind)
The cabal will be replace by another headed by Tinubu
By placing ill qualified people cos of their ethnicity??

Why wont APC criticize constructively by offering alternatives to policies rather than politics of insults, name calling and propaganda??

I'm afraid, its too late for you and your oga at the top to deceive Nigerians. You should have presented a different presidential candidate. Nigeria is too complex and sophisticated for GEJ, he is simply not fit to rule us.

WE WANT CHANGE AND WE SHALL GET CHANGE BY FEBRUARY 2015.

Too complex and sophisticated because he is not from the north or west. If he wes. would you be spewing this thrash?
You guys cant deceive us any longer.
Did question is; was the naira stable under GMB as you guys want us to believe?

I remember it trending on twitter some months back, #30percent or nothing. That is youths were advocating for 30 percent inclusion in governance.
What now happen to that hashtag??

And it is convenient for you to say anyone who didn't vote GMB is a fool.

Maybe you should start giving us concrete and valid reasons why we should vote for him, otherwise shut your trap.
