Starboy Wizkid who has been off the music scene since 2018 gave music fans something to cheer about earlier today as he did an Instagram Live video to preview some of the songs he will be dropping in the year 2019.

Of the songs he previewed was the one with Dr Dollar entertainment act, Teni which is titled "Pansa".
This song sounds like a massive tune and definitely going to be one that will cause a major heat in the year going forward.

However, many thought after yesterday’s outburst by Eldee, Olu Maintain would fireback; but it’s a surprise that Olu has responded in a very civil and calm manner.

Olu Maintain posted a video of himself and Eldee performing together on stage with a caption that preaches “no love lost” between the two veteran artistes. Olu Maintain wrote; “Grown n Sexy “the Concert” Lagos Dec 2018.

Nigerian-American Podcast, Lanre Dabiri popularly known as eLDee called out his fellow colleague, Olu maintain for performing his hit song, Big Boy, on stage during his (Olu Maintain) music tour in Manhattan, New York on Monday.

This was after Olu Maintain posted a clip of his performance on Instagram where he performed Eldee’s 2008 single ‘Big Big’ from eLDee’s 2008 ‘Big Boy’ Album. This post received a lot of reactions but the one that stood out the most was eLDee who uncontrollable spilled how he felt, slamming Olu Maintain for being “shameless” to perform a song after trying to steal it years ago.

“This shameless nigga out on stages performing my songs like he created it. I still remember how he tried to steal the record after I put him on it, forcing me to put it out prematurely.

“Nigga ran off with the unmastered draft and went to print CDs with himself as the lead artist, even his verse was written by me #Appropriation #getyourownshit Lesson to young artist Don’t ever do pity features,”.

This outburst was not well received by many especially fans of the Yahooze singer hence the rapper had to take down the comment and apologized on his Instastory that his comment was out of character but that wasn’t done without eLDee hinting that there is a whole lot that happened in the industry but he never got to tell.

“The last post was out of character. If you know me, you know that I don’t usually sweat shit like that. Sorry if I offended you but I have a lot of stories I never got to tell about the shady nonsense I kept quiet from in that industry. #NigerianAmericanPodcast #NewEpisodes #ComingSoon,”.

‘Big Boy’ by eLDee was released in 2008 in ‘Big Boy’ Album and it featured Olu Maintain, Oladele and Banky W was a hit when it was released.

Nigerian musician turned politician Olubankole Wellington aka Banky W has lost the election to become the Member House of Representative for his Eti Osa Federal Constituency.

The Nigerian king of R&B had last year November declared his intention to run for office on the platform of Modern Democratic Party (MDP) in his federal constituency. His political ambition was welcomed by many of his colleagues who showed him support and kudos especially on social media.

Within about three months Banky W engaged in intensive campaigns ahead of the elections. However, despite his efforts (winning some units in Eti Osa) the singer turned politician lost the race. The ‘Lagos Party’ crooner lost the race to Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro of APC.

In a new video on Instagram Banky W thanked his supporters for believing in him and supporting him thus far. He stated in his video this was just the beginning of greater things to come.

Some of his colleagues and friends have congratulated him on his efforts so far and encouraged him to stand firm.

DMW Boss Davido just bought a new Bentley Car into the country.

The singer through his SnapChat, shared clips as the machine drove out of its container, with its leather on.

Presumably, this could be Davido gifting himself a brand new machine for the recent milestone achieved in America at the recently concluded BET Awards.

The DMW lead man has been all over the social media of recent and its all been good news.
From the BET Awards, to his family and crew members celebrating him. He was also spotted at the Ooni of Ife’s palace, where he introduced his girlfriend, Chioma, to his royal highness.

Dancehall star or Afrofusionist as he calls himself, Burna Boy, come 2019 elections would not be voting.

The “Ye” crooner is having opposite ideas about the upcoming elections next year. While many Nigerian artists are encouraging their fans to go out and get their PVCs and vote, Burna Boy things different.

“I would not be voting. I see no reason why me or any Nigerian youth should”, Burna boy wrote in his Instagram story. Burna Boy opined that the vote of the populace counts for nothing and that it was even worse because Nigerian leaders are being recycled hence no change.

When quizzed by a fan why he choose to be different he said “Financial dependence of the youth will give us power we need to change our situation.”

The lovely mother-relationship shared between singer, Simi, and her mother, was again on display on social media recently.

Simi was recently seen exchanging banter with her mother on Instagram over a beautiful dress she had on in one of her uploaded pictures. Simi shared the adorable picture on her Instagram page for the viewing of her followers but her mother ‘s comment on the post suggests that she would rather have the dress to herself.

During an interview with OAP, Gbemi O of Beat FM, Wizkid revealed that his parents found out about his 3rd child on social media.

In response to a question on how he reveals the birth of his children to his mother, Wizkid said that he tells his parents that they have a new grand child but the case was different for the birth of his third child, Zion. He said that his parents found out about the birth of Zion on social media.

In response to a question on whether monogamy is his thing, Wizkid said not for now. He said he has several girlfriends and they are all aware of his multiple relationships. Sometime in 2017, the Star boy raved about the X3M music singer on social media, acknowledging her brilliance as a song composer which he admitted was evident on her sophomore album titled ‘Simisola’.

This act by Wizkid sparked rumors about a possible collaboration between the two singers.

The trending video compilation of different couples having sex at different times in Lagos cinemas, has evoked a reaction from iconic music producer, Don Jazzy.

The Mavin record boss commented twice on a Instagram post containing the trending video. His first comment reflected his feeling of guilt, which has been termed to be his sarcastic way of a implying that he is one of the persons caught having sex on camera.

Don Jazzy commented further, stressing that sex is not a strange thing. In defense of the parties involved, Don Jazzy stated that “nothing wrong in trying to (be) adventurous sometimes.” He made an attempt to justify the acts by saying that it is acceptable since there was no one in the hall at the time the act was going on.

Davido has announced the official signing of producer, Fresh VDM to his label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).

The singer posted a video on Instagram showing scenes of the popular producer working in the studio as well as scenes showing Fresh VDM signing what is believed to be the binding contract to DMW.

Davido shared this video via an Instagram post in which he stated the Fresh VDM is the first producer he would sign under his label. His post was captioned with,

The report has it that the singer was battered in the neighborhood of Ikola Ilumo where the young boy’s family members came to claim his custody.

Retired rapper and businessman, Eldee Tha Don made a thread on Twitter explaining why there is a shortage of mentors for young Nigerians.

The revered former rapper shared his perspective about the happenings in the Nigerian society that causes luck to be the determining factor for wealth rather than knowledge or skill.
