The last time I saw a Spurs Knicks finals... Ol boy, time flies! Latrell Sprewell, Marcus Camby, Chris Childs, that team had no joy, Ewing was like the nicest guy on the team, and Ewing is not nice ! But the admiral would not be denied that ring, with the young Tim Duncan. I feel some nostalgia about those years, the league was much less polished, more rugged and the knicks were just as grimy as the streets of new york.

It is interesting to see Spurs in the finals with another big man top pick a la Timmy D. These knicks are way way more offensively talented, but only Brunson feels like that old school knicks team.

How is it a good deal for both team? Trailblazers practically give up their best player for Jrue. Jrue will improve their defensive structure massively but who's going to take over Simmons offensive output? We know Jrue can't do that.

Ok...i was talking about the financial implications when i said its a good deal for both teams...Holiday was more expensive and was locked up for three more years that would feature clear decline. Simons will be extension eligible and could be facing a big payday and because Simons' contract is expiring after this season, if he flops, Boston still got out of the Holiday deal for no real cost.
