We made this series more difficult than it needed to be. We were the better team in 4/5 games in this series. Outside of Game 1, I thought we performed better even when we lost and deserved to have ended the series earlier than today. I will admit the Bucks definitely missed Khris Middleton on both ends of the court. The mentality of this team is strong and impressive because every time we suffered bad losses, like game 3 and 5, they never gave up because they believe they are better than the Bucks and they showed it.

It's a risky strategy in that Giannis ft shooting ebbs and flows. If you deploy hack a Giannis when he's in rhythm you're just putting your team in foul trouble for nothing while you have to work for your buckets on the other end.

The way Celtics defended and collapsed the paint on Giannis was great but it's also a pick your poison thing. Giannis is now an excellent passer that's very skilled at finding the open man. The kind of wide open shots Allen, Portis and Connaughton were getting you would have to be an Westbrick level to miss

No one is hating on this era but they shouldn't make it look like say na today basketball start or say na the most competitive era of basketball we dey witness.

A lot has changed over the different eras. From how players train, post training recovery, equipment, traveling, sports science, analytics, sports medicine, technology, compensation e.t.c.

Notice, I have not even mentioned on court changes oh like rules, court design, high performance shoes. For context, Dr. J and players of that era used to play basketball and perform highlight dunks wearing freaking converse shoes. Google those converse shoes and compare them to the pumps these cats wear today? Do you think it affects performance? Yet, those cats were jumping off while wearing those flat hard soled shoes!
