A fraudulent Nigerian blogger has landed in trouble after allegedly defrauding a UK-based activist the sum of N2.2million.
A Nigerian blogger, Apeh Peterhot has been arrested by the Nigerian Police in Lagos, according to a report by DailyPost.

The Benue born Blogger had allegedly opened a facebook pseudo account in the name of Queen Ann Ochoga and used it to defraud Mr. Philip Agbese, to the tune of N2.2m.

THE Senate, yesterday, urged the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, to urgently convert lower currency notes into coins to facilitate retail transactions in the country.


The upper chamber said it had become very imperative to make the use of coins compulsory because in developed countries as the United Kingdom, United States of America, USA; Japan, China, European Union, EU; and the entire United Arab Emirate, UAE, coins were used as means of exchange through cash transactions.


To make this very effective, the Senate has asked the CBN to sanction any commercial bank that refuses to collect coins from customers, even as it urged the apex bank to redesign the nation’s currency to cater for what it described as highly repetitive transactions of the country’s economy.

It also asked the CBN to intensify its sensitization campaign and other efforts to bring back coins into circulation in the nation’s market.

Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose Monday evening dropped a bombshell when he declared that he would contest the 2018 gubernatorial election ‎so that he could serve his term which was truncated through an orchestrated conspiracy of illegal impeachment in 2006.
It would be recalled that the Supreme Court in 2014 nullified the impeachment saga that ousted Fayose from office about seven months to the end of his first term. The apex court described the said impeachment as null and void.
