There was drama over the weekend when an Abuja- based cleric, Jacob Oyedepo, invited ‘bouncers’ to disperse relatives and friends who had gathered to bury his wife of 17 years on a property the deceased was said to have developed before her death .

Oyedepo, according to some sources, works with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) .
The deceased, Mrs. Christiana Adetola Oyedepo (nee Abu) died on May 2, 2017 after a sickness that was said to have lasted for about three months. She was aged 45 years.

According to Newtelegraphonline, the incident, which took place at Oke-Andi area of Ilorin, Kwara State, sent tongues wagging with speculations that the cleric had attempted to sell the uncompleted property and was concerned that burying the woman on the site would discourage prospective buyers from the property.

Family members claimed that the deceased had embarked on the project with loans obtained from a cooperative society and was still servicing the loan when she died.

The deceased was said to have been a teacher in one of the public schools in the state and had developed the property on her own. Family sources claimed that their marriage had been rocked by allegations of maltreatment allegedly by the cleric but that the deceased had kept it under wrap to prevent public ridicule.
A family source said the two had met in church and started their relationship there.

The Norwegian government on Monday proposed a bill to ban the full-face Muslim hijab in all schools, from nurseries to universities says it prevent the effective flow of communication between students and teachers.

The Adamawa State Government has released a statement warning the populace on the tactics employed by the terrorist group Boko Haram to attack their victims.

The statement was released at a press conference in Yola on Sunday by the Adamawa State Commissioner of Information, Ahmad Sajoh, DailyTimes reports.

He said the terrorists now pretend to be epileptic or suffering from severe stomach pains, allowing people to gather, before detonating their bombs.

“We are also aware that the terrorists now have another tactics which is that they will come to a place where people are gathered and begin to pretend as if they are epileptics or having severe stomach pain, and once people gather to assist them they will detonate the bomb.

So, we are also doing advocacy to tell people not to fall for such tactics. We have had it in the past, the first bomb blast in Yola was engineered like a street fight. Two people were fighting and people gathered to watch the fight and they detonated the bomb. The second one, they went to a tipper garage where labourers were buying food, they declared the food free of charge, paid the woman and started giving people five hundred Naira gift, then people rushed down and gathered and then they detonated the bomb.

We have now understood and going on advocacy to the parents to tell their children not to collect something from people they don’t know. We also interfaced with all the vice-chancellors, rectors and their heads of security in anticipation that something like this could happen. A cheating wife was embarrassed when her in-laws stormed her flat to find her secret lover curled up under the bed.

According to Mirror, the woman, only known as Mayra, was ambushed by her mother-in-law and her husband’s relatives while she was home alone with the man.

Dramatic footage captured in Becerril, Colombia, shows a nervous Mayra as she lets her in-laws into the flat and asks them:

“Why did not you call me? And why do you want to come in now?”

But her husband’s suspicious mum, her father-in-law and one of her sisters-in-law push past her and begin searching the home.
As she records the scene on her smartphone, the mum-in-law marches from room to room asking:

“Where do you have him?”

And when she gets to the bedroom, she pushes the bed to one side and Mayra’s lover emerges from underneath.
