I have strong to need to build two extra rooms in my house. However, the only space available for me to build the rooms in my house is occupied by a soakaway pit, meaning that the empty space available for building has a soakaway pit under it. My question is: can I construct my two rooms on top of the soakaway and make allowance for a small opening/piping which can be used to evacuate the pit whenever it gets filled?
Please, advise approximately.

What u call soak away pit is actually composed of two pits.
1.the air thight pit where anaerobic bacterial decomposes feases and waste called septic tank.
2. another pit which is not air thight that allows filtered water after proper decomposition from the septic tank through into the sorounding soil through spaces delibratly created for sippage. This pit is call soak away pit.
So if you have ur septic tank built on the likely hood of total evacuation of the remains of completly decomposed waste called sludge becomes combersome and nasty. which might just outweighs any persived logic. But how ever you might build above it then link with stairs so the rooms are elevated from the pits. That is if you really need to have those rooms.

Generally, an average 3br will cost between 4-6m depending on the type of finishes used and luxuries incorporated.This is before the current economic issues and consequent inflation in the prices of building materials. Now, you can budget BTW 5-9m depending on your taste but if your goal is to achieve a habitable structure, with inexpensive and minimal finish, just for you to SACK YOUR LANDLORD,hit me up on 07034643328(call or Whatsapp) and we can work things out.

I think the above post highlights all but I still recommend That u get a plan done firstly highlighting ur concerns and inputs. If you want a BQ then u have to go for a 120x60 since a 3bedroom and a BQ wouldn't fit into a 60x60 plot.

These are duplexes and twobedrooms flat semi-detracted all rooms ensuited on a 100x50 plot.

I want assistance with knowing how much I need to have in hand to build a three bedroom bungalow on 120x60ft plot of land with ample space for parking up to 4 vehicles.
I would also like to have a small single bedroom boys quarter with kitchen and toilet/bath in place.
I would like you to consider using (a) normal cement blocks and (b) burnt bricks.
What will be the price variations if building is in Agbowa and Sango Ifo?
