Plant Manager
Brief Description of Duties:

Provide specialized expertise and advice to the areas of operations on all related Plant aspects.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum of 1-3 years experience in repair, maintenance and management of large road construction fleet of equipment.

Quarry Operations Manager

Brief Description of Duties:

Oversee the full operation of all SCNL Quarries/Crushers.
Review and approve budgets/imprest prepared by the Quarry Supervisor.
Review and approve requests of material to be procured by Head Office.
Schedule production based on Sites’ requirements.
Review production reports and take necessary action where and when needed.
Submit to the Executive Committee a consolidated Monthly Report of all quarry/crusher operations, both financial and production.
Ensure that blasting plans are approved before blasting and best blasting practice is carried out.
Ensure timely and appropriate returns are presented to the Ministry of Mines and Solid Minerals.
Initiate and arrange refresher training courses for Supervisors in the latest techniques.
Arrange for exploration, acquiring and setting new Quarries/Crushers.

Financial/Cost Controller

Brief Description of Duties:

Directs and control the financial activities of the Company.

Prepares reports which summarize and forecast

Experience in accounting system development, financial management, financial reporting and setting-up internal financial policies and procedures.

Monitoring the implementation of accounting company policies and procedures at Head Office and various sites of the Company.

Brief Description of Duties:

Review any variation from the budget expenditures and initiate remedial action as deemed necessary.

Technical Control Engineer

Brief Description of Duties:

Prepare comprehensive reports to identify, analyze and monitor all assigned project costs, with the view to facilitating completion of the project.

Compile information concerning unit cost and rates experience on the various phases of contract for incorporation in the reference material manuals for future estimates.

Identify, schedule and monitor procurement of the project construction materials in accordance with requirements of work program and specifications as defined in the contract.

Supervise and coordinate detailed compilation and finalization of budget for the awarded projects based on materials compiled by the Estimate
Manager in the course of tender preparation. This also involves comprehensive discussion of draft budget and subsequent revisions of it, with the designated Project Manager, his cost control Engineer and the Project Coordinator.

Monitor consumption trends and current stock levels of materials in order to plan future requirements and replenish stocks as necessary.

In addition, monitor materials issues against actual usage in order to determine the waste factor and report findings to the Project Manager.
Organize, direct, plan, schedule and control all the necessary resources to complete the job according to the contractual obligations on time within the policies, programs and budget.

Brief Description of Duties:

A Dredge Master is required to work in a range of civil projects, mainly roads and bridges. The job is site based, and encompasses field and office work.

Initiate daily report for his part of work.

Assist and report to the Project engineer / Section Engineer as required.
