Beaf:
Are you serious?
By now, we all know that what happened in Benin was an unfortunate and very evil hunt for Northerners.

Protests should actually be banned in those areas, because the people are more incensed by boko haram than any stup!d protest for bigotted reasons. Thats where the oil comes from anyway.
Beaf what you are doing is very wrong

You like to tribalise issues into a SS/SE thing and it is wrong

show me any ijaw, yoruba, igbo or hausa man that does not like the good things of life ?

we all want the samething.

I believe the government can negotiate with the PEOPLE since they elected him isn't it ?
PoliticsRe: With The Current Killing And Protest, Why Is The Government Silent by aljharem(op): 5:48pm On Jan 09, 2012
PointB:
Sure we can protest against Boko haram killing together as a nation, but such a sensitive security matter should never by drown in a pool of myopic protest like this current fuel subsidy removal.
I don't understand

Boko haram are faceless people unlike MEND and others. What do you expect the people to do ?

the best we can do is to put pressure of the leaders to try to fish these people out.

Yesterday when Igbos/yoruba/hausa Christians were praying, there was a human shield around them.

And still there is stil protest against boko haram.

Let not allow tribalsim to split this country. We are one people

show me any ijaw, hausa, igbo or yoruba person that does not like the good things of life without all this bombing etc

we all want the samething which is PEACE !!!!!!

Please don't let us pray for tribal or religious conflict in this country Biko. That would be too bad for us as a nation. Lets only talk about the problems that facing the country and the way to sort them out. We are one brother, one Nigeria, there's no need for sentiments please. All that matter is good governance and peacefulness to all Nigerians. May the good lord give that to us. BH are individual evil people that about to see the wrath of God, they don't represent any religion or sect. We should not act like them. Lets be human  lipsrsealed

I don't think they should shoot just like that

I believe the Police can handle the situation without killing people

If all options are taken then they can do whatever is necessary to stop the escalating protest

The recent killing and protest, why is our government silent ?

Is it not scary that people are been killed and our government rather remain silent than address the issue ?

Are we not in trouble ?

I'll rather overlook your outburst. Even if the picture is recent, i condemn it without reservation. BUT, when we still come online to speak disgust and hatred, are we helping the matter? what can the online community do to act against this callousness? that's what am driving at.

I believe you understand my position now.
Don't curse me next time.
Ok I see and I apologise, but please the false accusation that some pictures were old.

Shame on you alj harem for trying to stir up trouble claiming that Victor Okafor shot the protester.
You are a liar.
You have lost all credibility here.
You will do anything to blame an igbo man.
It seems you can't read. the DPO is segun, who is the shooter ?

Who cares if he is Igbo or not ? Someone killed a man and you are here calling igbo?

In as much as we are obliged to report incidence as they occur, however, i will solicit that you muster great care and avoid sending unverified reports, inciting pictures and horrendous graphics to the front page.

The situation in Nigeria calls for great concern and we should not fuel the crisis by inciting anger and hatred.
Some of the pictures posted are not recent and yet people still post them in order to stir sentiments and reactions.
Even if they are real, maybe, some things should be censored.

Nigerians, we should all be concerned about the current situation in our country regardless of ethnicity and religion. Believe me, If the crisis degenerate any further, we the masses will be at lost not GEJ.

Since, the internet has played a major role in fuelling this uprise, why dont we use the same internet to preach peace, unity and call our people to reason.
War is not child's play. If it happens, the scars are always permanent.

Let us all act wisely.
can you people shut up

what picture is old

show us so we can verify or keep ur mouth shut

So you are surprise that Nigeria can get to this stage. Stu.pid people

Most of the shooting is rubber bullets, thats allowed especially when the protest turns riots. If those 18 people announced by AP were shot by life ammo, they will all be dead !!
Funny people

rubber bullet by NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE
