Phame: u and d OP ar also TAN members paid to invade social media in defense of gej clueless style of leadership.@OP can you imagine Me TAN member. What rubbish I am not a TAN member neither am I any party member. You people are the reasons why Nigeria is like this. Why not be objective and view things for what they are rather than sheepishly following APC or Tinubu's words |
yemaldo: So don't complain when they treat Nigerian badly, our vote is a weapon against the politicians but we fail to see thatExactly that is why u rather vote for individuals rather than vote based on party politics. See as they are changing party anyhow. Shameless set of people with no political idealogy |
I hope he gets better soon |
Oga if we talk now, the sophisticated people will say we are PDP, APGA etc and that we are not progressives. They will also insult and threaten you. Make we just dey look oh |
Sloan: And a nonentity like you would know that? You used to have some sense but fhoolishness has ruined your brain like cancer. You have only 1 voters card, go and give it to your god PDP and let others do what they want with theirs and it that is APC, it is their choice!Interesting. Lol I am not giving my vote for PDP neither am I giving it to APC. They are both useless to me. I vote for individuals |
tit: OBJ is going to throw his weight behind Buhari!!!1If he does that, he has destroyed himself politically. APC has nothing to offer Nigerians |
Ciroma is a sponsor to boko haram. Quote me anywhere |
Women of this generation and their fish brain ![]() |
Apc comparing. Lol They are all the same. Vote for individuals not party |
^^^^^^ Has this answered anyone's question ? ![]() Level of infrastructure VS debt profile VS IGR. |
The performance of Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola is exaggerated (“overblown”) and does not “match the revenue accruing to the state on a monthly basis,” says Executive Chairman, Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders (CACOL), Mr. Debo Adeniran. “Though the state government is said to have done a lot for the state, CACOL found out that the government has not done as much as it has been portrayed. “The budget of the state is in excess of N20bn monthly without substantial proof of what it has been used for. We have undertaken an assessment of the 57 councils in the state and it has proved that the LASG is over-hyped for doing very little.” He said the group’s hypothesis had shown that the budgetary impact on infrastructural development in the state was not accessible. “However, we have yet to come to the conclusion as regards how much money had been spent on infrastructure; we would not just say corruption has set in. Maybe, the money is being kept somewhere, but definitely, it has not been spent on what they claim,” he further said. The alleged ‘secrecy’ of the Lagos State Government was questionable, he said, stressing that it could have engaged in ‘monumental corruption’ more than anyone could ever imagine. “Through propaganda, the LASG has been able to cajole Lagosians to believe that Fashola is, at present, the most performing governor in the country. “It is unfortunate that Nigerians easily believe anything. There should not be secrecy in government; it should be open and transparent. Let LASG prove that their hands are clean,” Adeniran said. Just so unfortunate |
Ayekotoo: Trying hard to sound intelligent. Hahaha! keep consoling your Igbos friendsYour link is not working |
Ayekotoo: Now I know you have no iota of sense. So you could spew this garbage? List them start with Abia, Anambra, kogi, benue, bayelsa, Ebonyi, Katsina et all and let's see if there debts truly correspond with infrastructural developmentsI though you were progressives and sophisticated so why result to insults. Are now comparing those states to Lagos ? Do you think you can choose and un-choose when to compare and when not to compare. What is the debt of Lagos state and compare it to the level of infrastructure, reoccurring expenditure etc. Now lets compare the debt profile of an APC state to a PDP state of the same level. Lagos to Akwa Ibom. You showed the thread the last time so you do the comparison. Moreover it is a known fact that Lagos generate more revenue than Akwa Ibom and the level or should I use RATE ! of infrastructure in Akwa Ibom is farrrrr greater than Lagos. Lagos was the former Capital Territory so remover federal infrastructure there. |
Atouke: Fate of citizens of the five debt affected states in NigeriaDebts is not the issue after all the most powerful country in the world is in great debts. The issue is the use of the debts. Was it just paid into Tinubu's, Aregbesola and co account or was it use for development and if so, why do we still pay tax if we are indebted and yet still collect Federal allocation and IGR. There is no logic behind that. |
Atouke: unborn children of the five debt affected states. Is that the point ? To make jest at us ? |
Still waiting for your evidences. I can't explain why someone will be defending broad day light corruption all in the name of Tinubu. |
He should have stayed in LP |
Moveover Ayekotoo, I will be waiting for you on that thread. Don't insult, abuse or threaten. Let discuss like civilised and SOPHISTICATED MEN WILL DO. Bring your facts and I will bring mine. |
Ayekotoo: Asking me out again after last nite show of disgrace. I will put you to where you belong until you come to your sense that these people they wish to have leaders like Fashola, Aregbesola, Amosun, Ajimobi et all but fate couldnt but gave them T.A Orji, Elechi, Obiano et all. |
aresa: There are at least 36 states with debt on that list so why not pose the same questions to the other states. The level of debts corresponds or make logical sense to the level of infrastructure they have in the state. The same cannot be said of Lagos. |
Again what did APC use the money for because such debts should have visible evidence don't you think progressives ? |
ProfCorruption: That's a legitimate question and it's the type of questions that OP should have asked. Since you are now a PDP member, you should make it a campaign question. What has Lagos achieved under Fasola? Right? My prediction is many won't agree that Fasola has not improved Lagos than he met it.The same is applicable to Ogun, Oyo, Osun and even Ekiti.I am not a PDP member but will say the truth when I see one. Lagos has been under AD---APC since 1999 so you say fashola has improved Lagos is based on the individuality of Fashola and not APC. Apart from this, OYO ( Spent some time there recently), Ekiti have not shown any sign of improvement. All we see is more poverty. ProfCorruption: Is the highlighted a statement of fact or just your opinion? It is a statement of fact The rate of poverty incidence in Lagos increased nearly nine times from 6.27 per cent in 1996 to 53 per cent in 2004. This is the high point of a draft report of the Nigeria Living Standard Survey 2003/2004 produced by the Federal Office of Statistics (FOS) in collaboration with the European Union (EU), World Bank and the Department of International Development. |
Ayekotoo: Ok! they are not responsibilities of the federal government. Are they also not your state government responsibilities? Mr. crayon, you are a disgrace if you can't hold your leaders responsible for your sorry state.I knew you will be here Have you held your leaders responsible first ? |
He should have stayed in LP. |
Atouke: Their plan is to default on the loan so that Niger Delta oil will bail them out. they got no plan other than to keep borrowing and not pay back.Niger delta or not is none of my business afterall, we take care of Niger deltan too in the SW. They should show us what they have done with the money they have being sharing all these while |
vicadex07: At least here in the south west, we don'tSorry sir, Who does not complain ? Just because you are part of the upper class in the APC government does not mean ordinary citizens like me like them. We want them out ! |
lets not leave the point. The debts are not the point @ "Progressives" answer the following questions 1. How has the debt improve Lagos and indeed SW social economic structure for the past 8 years. Please don;t tell me about a 1.8 km bridge of 29 Billion Naira which means per meter is 15.6 million naira 2. How has this debt improve the welfare of the citizens of the states. Poverty has increased ever since APC took over. 3. What are the structure on ground to repay these debts. Surely double or triple taxing cannot even pay up |
Tinubu APC thank you for sucking us dry ![]() |
atlwireles:Exactly no imposition that is why he has my support |
atlwireles: So, how do you expect him to win a PDP primary? When people don't even know his name?No one knew Fashola before he won No one knew Fayemi before winning. At the end of the day, it is he who God chooses |
lekkie073: empty vessels make d loudest noiceGood response !!! |
