Fashola and the APC lead Tinubu government are full of lies and propaganda. Lets itemize the things he claimed to have do with a loan of 160 billion Naira. Also note that Lagos generate 29 billion Naira monthly apart from 12 billion Naira monthly allocation from the Federal Government Is Shoprite a Lagos state project ? No Is Lekki epe a lagos state project ? No and if yes then why are we being asked to pay at them toll gate, is this not double taxation ? Are those housing estates Lagos state project for the elites or masses ? if for the elites then half of them is owned by Tinubu. If not then why sell a Lagos state "low scheme" flat for 30 million naira ? Does this even make any sense ? Are those malls shops for the elites or market men and women ? The tejuosho mall and co are rented and sold at high prices. Most of them have already been bought by his commissioner and SA wives. Is FERMA also Lagos state ? Ikorodu road has always been repaired and maintained by Ferma, not to talk of other road. Point out what Fashola has done apart from over inflated projects, planting flowers and elites housing estates Hoping for PDP to take over this Tinubu Empire |

MR Tobun Abiodun, represents Epe Constituency 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly. In this interview, he expresses concern over the state of the nation and declares that calamity may befall Nigeria in the absence of free, fair and credible elections. Excerpts:By Ebun sessouHis assessment of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, performance in the conduct of recent governorship elections.INEC was able to live up to its expectation reasonably in the just concluded elections because it had no choice. INEC can only manipulate where the presence and interest of the people do not count. It had no option than to dance to the tune of the people.Hon. Tobun AbiodunFor the just concluded elections, there was no room for manipulations despite the victimisation. The people fought for their rights and they got what they wanted. They were mobilized, they were ready to stand by their votes and defend the votes and that was what happened. If we want this country to move up, we should be ready to defend our votes. On the chances of the All Progressives Congress in the 2015 polls.Yes. If you go by the will of the people, the APC would win, this is because people are tired of the government at the centre. The lackadaisical attitude of the Federal Government has put most people off the track. With due respect to Mr. President, the principle of good governance is lacking in Nigeria and everything is in shambles. The education sector, health, communication, power, absence of good roads, many things are not working. The PDP has been there for about 16 years now and nothing is working, so let us try another party.Do you think the APC has the right candidate for the presidency now?We have credible candidates, with respect to the party and the stalwarts of the party, I am not canvassing for anybody but Gen. Muhammed Buhari (rtd.) is a good candidate. He is an incorruptible person having served as Head of State of Nigeria. How many Nigerians would head the Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) and not be corrupt?Someone once said, he has no house in Abuja, and that he has only one house in his home town, he has no other house anywhere in the world. Even President Goodluck Jonathan attested to that, he commended him; he is not a corrupt person. Also, people like Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwakwanso; Governor of Rivers State, Mr. Chibuike Amaechi; Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu are good materials and can rule this country effectively. You mentioned Muhammad Buhari, but some are of the view that the old guard should give way to the younger generation. What is your take on this?Of course, that is what the youths of this country are clamouring for. They say youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow, but when will the time of the youth come? The question now is have those elders provided an enabling environment for the youths to grow? The answer is no.So, if they are the ones to put us back on track, then they should do so. In some states, where youths have been governors, they were corrupt, so it is neither here nor there, let us look for the best candidate that would take this country out of the doldrums. The future of Nigeria is in our hands. We must look for a credible candidate, either male or female that would salvage this country. Let us all sit down and restructure this country because, the sovereignty belongs to us, let us agree that this person is credible enough to lead us and put him or her there. How do you determine who a credible person is?President Jonathan is leading us now, is he leading us well? To me, the answer is no. He is not credible to go ahead. Gen. Buhari has led us before, did he lead us well? To me, I would say yes. He can go ahead. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was the Governor of Lagos State, did he rule us well?Yes. Governor Raji Fashola is ruling Lagos State, is he doing well, yes, Governor Rotimi Amaechi is ruling Rivers State, is he open to the people, yes. If you look at it, Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State and Governor Liyel Imoke of Cross Rivers State, they are in the PDP, but they are doing well. Let us look for credible people, from their antecedents, we can know credible people.Do you think we should vote for a party or candidate in the elections? We can vote for the party whose candidate is credible. This is why every party must look for a credible candidate, who would do the bidding of the generality of the country, not a self-centered leader. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/09/2015-ll-calamity-tobun/ |
^^^^^ The era of using cheap tribal sentiment to milk us is over If all these are Lagos state project, they should explain where all the money from Tax and Loans gone too. |
django1: Dude what exactly is your grouse with these pictures?Nothing personal, I just hate it when you use pictures to achieve propaganda to the public. Lets itemize these things. Is Shoprite a Lagos state project ? Is Lekki epe a lagos state project ? Are those housing estates Lagos state project for the elites of masses ? Are those malls shops for the elites or market men and women ? Is FERMA also Lagos state ? Point out what Fashola has done apart from over inflated projects and elites housing estates |
Pure propaganda no substantial evidence Or you want to tell us that Lagos state brought Shoprite to Nigeria because I can see Shoprite in your pictures |
Obiagelli: aljharem, thanks for the Fg, PPP talk, how come its not happening in other states.Because Lagos is the second most populous state and our commercial capital. |
We hope for his quick recovery. |

chukwudi44: I ve already dusted my voters card for our next Governor Jimi Agbaje Mogidi: Only God can stop governor in waiting Jimi Agbaje from winning. At last the fraudster and former cocain warlord Tinubu would be brought to book. Fashola can stop prying eyes from examining Lagos finances at the moment by delaying FOI but for how long?Don't go and vote for Jimi o. Jimi is an APC mold If Dosunmu, Gbadamosi or Koro don't come out, then vote APGA But among them all Ade Dosunmu is the best of them all. Anybody apart from Jimi Agbaje, if not you have just enriched Tinubu and his e-touts more |
aljharem: [size=18pt]Most of these projects are actually funded by private NGOs , world bank and the FG |

KwoiZabo: This is all 400bil IGR and Federal allocation and 1 bilion dollar debt. can do in 8 yrs. Moreso many pics there are privately funded, world bank projects etc. All is campaign strategy. We need transparency in Lagos State Govt. simple.God bless you !!! Most of these projects are actually funded by private NGOs , world bank and the FG This is pure propaganda. That is why he is bring out pictures. |
barcanista: Tom Ikimi=A failed man that betrayed Democratic struggle to serve Abacha as Foreign Minister, who went the length and breadth of the World to justify the hanging of Ken Saro Wiwa in a failed attempt to launder Abacha's image. Tom Ikimi is a failed f00lHahaha APC propaganda go kill pesin Was Buhari not petroleum minister under military dictatorship ? He was also a military dictator himself What is the difference between him and Ikimi? Mention one. Thanks |
jmaine: Though I consider your criticism extremely harsh and unfair to the APC led Lagos State based on the laudable efforts of LAWMA in the metropolis. My brother it is just so painful when I see my people die. You cannot understand Lawma is a good initiative but highway managers that take up brooms sweeping high speed express is just a disaster waiting to happen. You cannot surround your house with fire and don't expect your house to be touched. The initiative is a form of employment initiative for their supports and it was badly implemented. |
Highway managers is the kind of job only illiterates like Fashola APC can think of. To them, this is job creation. In my life, I have not seen in any country people sweeping the floor with brooms. Image people sweeping on express and highways, cars speeding on 80 or 100 km/ hr. There are vehicles for these sort of jobs. Anyway, you voted for APC Tinubu so this is what you get in Lagos. Meanwhile Tinubu' s iyaloja daughter is flexing while you are dying. Real progressives |
easrael: You can't read such in the dailies because AapC is in charge of the media in Lagos if you don't knowGbammm |
But really he should be probed along side fashola and ajimobi |
cramjones: Here is the Serious minded president with Ali Modu Sherrif, the founder and sponsor of Boko Haram on an official trip to South Africa. |
PaulJohn1: Thanks bro for this post. It seems we that have realised no sane, innocent nor an incorruptible party in Nigeria today are increasing day-by-day. Majority of our politicians are crooks with dead consciences. We just have to select the few ones that are principled and focused from all these dirty parties that we have.Walihi, WE DO NOT NEED SOMEONE LIKE TINUBU. WE DO NOT NEED SOMEONE LIKE OSHIOMOLE WE DO NOT NEED SOMEONE LIKE BUHARI. WE DO NOT NEED SOMEONE LIKE AMAECHI WE.DO NOT NEED SOMEONE LIKE ROCHAS I am telling you the undiluted truth if you do not want to be biased YES WE NEED LIKES OF APAIOBO DONALD DUKE, FASHOLA These are not about party but individuals You need to understand that both PDP and APC lack political ideology. Anything Tinubu will lose. Fact What solution has Tinubu provided? Tell me |
ede1: Great Tinubu giving PDP sleepless night. Since 1999, like him or hate him. He his one of the best politician that has ever emerge out of this country. Just imagine our democracy without a viable opposition. We would have being practicing one party system without a choice to choose non compare. God bless those men and women making us to have an alternative party to PDP.APC is not an opposition that is the fact. Nigerian parties lack ideologies. What ideology is APC or PDP on Quit lying to us Nigerians |
OrlandoOwoh: Buhari was never in PDP. Could you tell me any person that left his party because he was not allowed to chair the party?Atiku left PDP because he lost the primaries. |
The truth is that if Buhari, Oyegun, Aregbesola, Senator Ojudu and Senator Ayo, are removed from the APC, what is left would be another PDP or something worse than it. Nigeria has no opposition party that is worthy of the name "credible opposition". Is it Atiku (Halliburton and Jefferson accomplice), Tinubu (Forged certificate, corruption Plc), Fashola (Chief agent of Dangote's forcible land grab and leader of "Drive-poor-people-away-from-Lagos" policy) or Bukola Saraki (Societe General's bankrupter-in-chief)? Who is it? People who know Lagos state very well can tell you with the highest possible confidence that the state is fleeced more than the Federal government is fleeced by Jonathan. Fashola probably does not like it, but remember he was nearly removed or replaced before his 2nd term election. And if he was such a man of principle, why would he allow himself to be used as a facade for a thief hiding behind the curtain? He is a man under chain. And if there is any doubt about the mindless looting of Lagos state, that doubt is immediately resolved when the achievements on ground so far are compared to the humongous revenues accruing to Lagos. It is just like people who often cite Godswill Akpabio as a performing governor. Ridiculous! As soon as the figures paid to Akwa Ibom on monthly federal allocation (N22 billion) is laid bare, governor Akpabio's so-called achievement immediately looks like a silly joke and reveals a mindless rape on the coffers of the Akwa Ibom people. This country is messed up big time. If Buhari runs again and wins, maybe - just maybe - he will create the transparent electoral system that will open the door for younger and brilliant, sincere, visionary Nigerians to start making progress in the politics of this damaged country. If things were normal in Nigeria, Buhari would not be the man that Nigerians are hoping for his help. But as it stands today, it is difficult to see any other light of hope that can save Nigeria from the horror of a single-party state in which the ruling party is a den of devilish and demonic greed, irresponsibility, mindless corruption, insecurity, waste and conscienceless lies. At least, I know Buhari will not disappear N20b. It doesn't matter how the PDP and mumu Nigerians try to twist the truth; the truth is that when it comes to contentment, character, firmness, and probity, Buhari is just several miles ahead of his peers in the politics of this God-forsaken country. 2015 will be our last chance to save Nigeria from unspeakable disaster! Believe it or not, it will be so! ---- True Nigerian |
OrlandoOwoh: If Tom Ikimi didn't have alterior motive I see no reason why he should leave the APC in anger.Buhari, Atiku etc were all PDP members before leaving in anger to APC so what are you saying ? |
egift: Tinubu was very comprehensive in his response. Stop humiliating yourself it is too early. Here it is:If you think that is a convincing excuse in whatever measure, then you have another thing coming your way. It is clearer by the day that truly APC has nothing to offer |
