My 24v battery bulk-charges at 27.2v and is perfectly fine.

You have been told to change from 13.7 to 14.1. Let your pv face the direction of any dstv dish around you. Did u series or parallel ur panels? Mind you, PowMr cannot go beyond 80v at 12v. My pv is 300w ×2 and the result is very very good.

Have experienced this too. It's a pretty funny time for solar panels, since irradiance is incredible but the heat negatively affects it.

For example, this afternoon my panels were at 50°C, which is insane. At such temperatures, I probably wouldn't be able to draw more than 88% of my panel's rated output even though sun was blasting.

You just need to not overload your panels this period, I guess. Around 75% capacity should be fine (easily doable because sun is out); if you go much higher than that, temperatures climb, voltage drops, and suddenly you're momentarily getting lower voltage than your inverter needs to run.

Charge to 3.65v on initial installation but subsequently, charge to 3.50v each time.

Anyway, I'd say a 10kwh battery should be just about enough. Maybe 15kwh if finances allow, though he'd probably need to increase his pv array to around 6kw.

As long as you did not exceed the input VOC and ISC.

I have 4 PCs of 320 watts connect in 2s then, the 2 strings in parallel.. to a 50A CC same 12V set up.
The CC only clamps to max out put of 50A.

You're all good to go as the VOC of the panel is well within the range of the CC.

You can connect them, the VOC is around 56V
So it's fine to parallel the panels, for better efficiency.

So you can over panel your system but ensure your connection does not exceed the specified VOC and Rated Amp for the charge controller. I have a 3600w pannel connection on a 60A, 145v Charge controller and my system is a 24v. what i simply did was to respect the charge controller specification and i have been running it for a year now without issues. The only thing is that the charge controller will limit the wattage been generated to the CC specified cap wattage and waste the others inform of heat.

Can anyone recommend a good mppt controller that wont dig a hole in the pocket? The powmr seems scarce of recent. Is must/sunfield a good option or there are better alternatives? Budget is around 70k for a 45-60amp spec. Thanks 🙏

Please I’m planning to buy a 24v 5kw felicity lithium battery but I’m not planning to buy solar panels yet. I want to be charging the battery with nepa pending the time I relocate to a new apartment. Here is where I need help, what brand of 24v 3kva or 2.5kva inverter with low idle wattage will you suggest, also how can I charge the battery effectively without consuming too much electricity.
