If you understand this, both writer and readers suppose take chill pill. If e still dey pain una, make una open new thread. Thank you.
Sorry for derailing your thread.

Bro let's be honest, you weren't consistent okay, maybe you should write the story down before releasing it
Maybe you can do that for him.

Lol, I can see something is wrong with you somewhere.

Thousands of readers including you visits a "useless website", Lol! It really shows how "useless" the website is.

So what do we call someone who waited to finish a "useless story" and read it to the end?

Oga "Professional Ranter" Pekele007, I have never claimed to be a professional writer. You should have just looked for professional writers whose works you would pay for instead of looking for free stories to read online.
LiteratureRe: Number 225 Katakata Street by alliyuf(f): 12:27pm On Mar 27, 2019
Pekele007:
But you said we aren't paying him to write?

Imagine if all aggrieved readers decided to stay away from his useless website, won't hunger finish his life?

I have stopped visiting his shitty website the very day he finished Tarasha 2....So mind your business and don't you ever quote me to talk nonsense.
Thank God not everybody thinks like you do since there are still people who appreciate him and his writing. Ciao.

Do you know some writers do face a phase where they get confused....

Apart from the NYSC thing mixing his education and writing is not an easy thing. Cut the guy some slack.

If you need finished works there are a lot of alternatives out there Okadabooks, Smashwordss, Goodreads, kindle, inkitt, wattpad e.t.c.

Peace....
You spoke my mind. To use other alternatives and pay for it is a big problem. He wants it free.

So Tarasha started immediately he entered the NYSC camp? Do you even know what you are talking abouthuh

The data I used to read stories on his shitty website were free right? Or Adsense don't pay him anymore right? Nonsense
Then you should have stopped reading. He didn't force you to. If you're that pained open your website and drive traffic. Adsense paying him is his own way of getting compensation since he isn't getting it from his readers. You're definitely not missed since you stopped visiting his site.

Will you shut that dirty thing you call a mouth? I blamed my self severally for even reading the Tarasha before it was finished.

You update anytime you like without even considering your readers...Weeks and months will pass without you saying anything yet you allowed us to keep visiting your useless website.

Although I have vowed never to visit that useless site of yours immediately you finished the useless Tarasha story... Useless writer with no iota of professionalism. To hell with you. Nonsense
That was harsh. If I can remember correctly he made the readers aware that he was going to NYSC camp and before then he was always updating though not consistently. Besides, you are not paying him for the writing neither are his books for sale unlike some other writers. The insult was uncalled for.

This is serious.
For over two months, I've interviewed several candidates for the position of an English Teacher in my school without anyone getting to the average mark. How can a university graduate of English, Linguistics or Communication Arts not be able to score a minimum of 60% in a WAEC standard examination? What is wrong with this generation?
You can't just conclude that due to their inability to score 60% they'd be incapable. They might have been engaged in another career field. Also, the pay is what would make the good ones run. 25k-30k for an English and literature-in-english teacher is very poor.

It's not from shell. Their office is located at Marina and they don't have an office in ikeja. Also, their website address is www.shell.com.ng. the other one is saying shell global which should raise the red flag that a multinational company like shell would have a poorly developed site.

[quote author=slimbless post=76687065]Hello everyone, pls I just got invited for an interview at Outcess, I really want to confirm if the Salary has been increased to 55K, cos I just got a job that pays around this same amount, so I want to weigh my options.
Pls someone should kindly reply.
Thanks [/
Outcess pays 45k flat, no hmo or pension for multichoice and 50k for Ntel and Airtel. I was there for interview some weeks back and that's what we were told the salary is. 25k for branch. You'll make a hundred successful calls per shift for multichoice and it's from 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. the worst part is that you might have made over a hundred calls and just 10 would be successful. If you have a job that pays more than 45k stick with it and don't go for outcess. They're slave drivers.

God bless you..could you believe the man referred to us as disgruntled graduates, he even bragged that if he sacked us all, and put up vacancy, that 1000 jobless people out there would apply. The MD has no respect for Nigeria youths at all, he treated us as if we won't survive if we don't continue with the meagre paying job. I'm so happy we ALL raised our shoulders high to dump his job
Don't mind the MD. he's running on debt and losing his ground that's why he is looking for something to hold on to in terms of exploitation. Some of the staff downstairs got alert of 6k when they received their salary some got 12k on Thursday. Imagine working for the whole month and receiving alert of 6k at the end of the month. You're in th stream 2a right? I'm in 2b.

i know the heart of a capitalist is exploitation. The only way is to be your own boss but if you want a career leap, getting a job at airtel is a good start despite the apparent challenge which is paying for a work tool.
calm down bros. It's an outsourcing firm. The training is even without certificate that other outsourcing firms that handle airtel call center gives out to the trainees. And before you leave you must give six weeks notice. who does that? A guy paid 84k because he got a job in a bank and he needed recommendation letter from them. they claimed he didn't give them 6 weeks notice. Call centre for airtel here is not the issue.
Jobs/VacanciesConsol Ltd Nigeria Is A Scam by alliyuf(op): 12:10pm On Feb 21, 2019
Nigeria is finished

An outsourcing company in Lagos called Consol has refused to pay training allowance of 30,000 to it's new hires, because it insists that they must buy headsets at a rate of 27,000 to work. After an initial agreement that did not include buying headsets. The job is for customer service call agents for Airtel @37,000 a month. Just let that sink in.

These young hires had to transport and feed themselves for the 30day training.some had to borrow money to keep up.

Who asks employees to buy the tools they will use to work? Why did they not also ask that employees buy computers? Do they ask doctors to bring operating equipment when they are Hired. Or teachers to bring white boards?

This situation is an insult on the value and dignity of the Nigerian graduate everywhere. Outsourcing firms have turned Nigerians to slaves in the own country and this has to stop. The government and labour and companies who do business with these kind of people need to understand that they are creating a problem that may hunt them one day.

This issue affects us all directly or indirectly, so ensure that you share and create awareness about this extortion and slavery that is being called outsourcing
