Please guru,

Is it possible to apply for a study visa with my little daughters? Or is there anyone who applied with his or her kids nd the study visa was granted.

Thanks as I await your responses.

Hi,

I have a b.sc. biochemistry and m.sc. chemistry (biochemistry options). At the moment, working as a customer service representative in one of telecommunications company. However, I was advised that since I didn't have a qualification in a customer services representative, I shouldn't go for it. rather, I should pick a job that is related to one of my certificate.

Right now, I'm planning to work in one of my uncle's hospital as a health care administrator for a year. To enable me to claim experience in this field. My concern is this, when I checked NOC code, I realized that they only required secondary education or diploma in secretary for this job.

can this work? Please I need your advice.

Hi everyone,

I want to apply for a course at St Lawrence College but the course will be offered at Alpha College which does not offer PGWP. I was made to understand that Alpha college is affiliated with St Lawrence College and after completing the program, I will be able to qualify for PGWP because St Lawrence college will also give me its certificate.

I don't know whether someone has been in this situation before and he or she is able to apply for his or her PGWP. Please advise.

Thanks very much, i will adhere to your advice. I will also need some guidance from you

It's not advisable for your wife to go for a BSc. That will be tagged as a Wrong Academic Progression by a Canadian Visa Officer cos she already has an higher Academic qualification (MASTERS). She should go for a PG.CERT PROGRAM related to her work experience (career progression) e.g. HEALTH CARE ADMINISTRATION

PG. Cert in Health Related programs

Hi,
I think the issue people have is not the nursing course per se.. but convincing the VO why you are going for lesser qualification.
Your wife has an MSc, she should consider another health course.. like Health Care Administration for now or Mental Health & Addictions etc.. there are options.
When she gets to Canada, she can get a nursing admission and change to that.

Most Bsc Nursing will accept you into YR 2 if you meet the AGPA, some schools offer accelerated options( you need to meet some prequisites).
People also opt for the Practical Nursing 2yr diploma.

Both roles are in -demand jobs.

Hope this helps
Thanks for your response

Hi everyone,

Please 🙏🙏🙏🙏 I need your advice, my wife has a b.sc. and m.sc. Biochemistry 2018. She's presently working as a health assistant in one of the private hospital in Lagos since 2019. I hope she will be able to convince VO. Some people said it is very difficult for VO to approve or issue visa to anyone going for a nursing from Nigeria.

Is it advisable for her to go for b.sc nursing or start with practical nursing in Canada ?

The bottom line is that surest route to achieve her dream.

I need your contributions, please help somebody.

hi everyone,

Please, I'm 46 years old, and I would like to confirm whether the Canadian embassy is looking at the age when making a decision. In other words, does age affect visa? or should I just allow my spouse to study who is much younger than me? She has an M.SC. Biochemistry, but she intends to study M.SC. nursing in Canada. I hope she will be able to get admission.

I have an M.Sc. Finance working with a logistics company with a salary of almost 350K/monthly and am planning to study Supply Chain Management post-graduate certificate in Canada. I hope I stand a good chance.

I'm married with kids, is it advisable to apply with my family simultaneously? or I should use them as my home tie. Though I have other assets to be used as home ties

Kindly advise me. Thanking you
