Yes you have to purchase FX at the parallel market to fund your account which will be used to buy the GIC.
Thank you

Please can anyone please advice for someone who has bachelor degree going for an educational (early childhood education)diploma course which is lesser.Although the education diploma course matches with career as a teacher for 10years plus.

The person should go for a post graduate diploma or certificate program in education .

You are in order. There is nothing wrong in doing diploma even though you have your Nigerian issued B.Sc. certificate. But be prepared to put up a compelling SOP to convince the visa officers your intention of doing a diploma course instead of going for a post graduate studies in education. Many nigerians with bachelors degrees are doing undergraduate certificate and diploma courses in Canada. The course you mentioned is quite competitive and offers many job opportunities. Good luck!

Obviously, that is what it means for CBIC
ExcellenceAb:

Please, for this GIC, Scotia Bank is saying that they don't have a student GIC that covers for Nigerians (only country listed in their portal). And CBIC is saying that the transaction must be made in USD, won't that mean that I still need to buy fx at black market in order to carry out the transaction?

Hello guys
I just received a refusal letter from Ircc 😩😩

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/ section-216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:

• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).

Please help.. Ah nor fit cry😭😭😭🤌🏻
So i Submitted with 21mill closing balance for a two year PGD program in ontario with a tuition of Cad$17900 per year… I paid first semester tuition of Cad$9650
Single Aplicant
Note: (Sponsor Mom)(one account)(Including documents to prove occupation)
Included family birth certs
Family’s landed property with valuation reports
Family photos
But no employment for myself so I didn’t upload my account statement.
Please gurus in the house what should I do abeg!!
My brain nor fit brain again😥

In my passport, my middle name is part of my Given Names but it isn't there in my letter of acceptance.

Does my letter of acceptance need to have all my names or is my first and last name enough?

When did you finish school?
We talked about this no submission of statement of account here.
Tuition bal 26,150
Living expenses 20,000
Miscellaneous 4,000

You should ideally be presenting around 35m for the full program. However, you could have still used around the future you submitted to put up a good case of your mum being a capable sponsor and capable of sponsoring you and taking care if subsequent second year expenses.

So questions are: what supporting docs did you put up to explain source of money of your mum, any strong convincing assurance that subsequent expenses can be easily covered by her? How tight was the SOP? Lump sums and explanations?? These and many more

I finished 2021
Mom deals on importation so submitted all documents proving her work including tax payments receipts and all that
Sop was legit to the best of my knowledge
A deposit of 6mil a few days to the application with a description on the transfer stating that it’s a part of my tuition(second semester)
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 2:13am On Sep 27, 2023
Sorry about the refusal, don't think because your parents are sponsoring you, it will fly without stating the amount. Even if you show 40M in your sponsor's account, how fast your sponsor responds to your needs is important to the VO. There are conditions to using a sponsor

Hello guys, please I need your help oooo. I haven't been able to sleep well. I applied to CNA and Sheridan since June but didn't get admission. I was asked to submit some documents and after that didn't hear anything from them.

I also applied to Conestoga on August 24th but after asked to resubmit some documents, I was on the wait list.

Since January is no longer feasible, please can you guys help out and let me know which schools give admission fast. I don't know if it's my study gap of 8 years that's affecting me though. Please if you also know of any school giving admission for Januray intake please let me know.

Also note that I got admission into a non-DLI school (Oulton College), but I'm not sure if it'll be easy to switch to another school when I get to Canada or get the refund of the $3000 deposit. Please help out with any information you can give out about any of the above. Thank you.

Try KEYANO COLLEGE. It is located @ Fort Mcmurray, Alberta.
It will baffle you those guys are still taking for Jan.

Deposit is 750CAD and you can get 50% refund if you turn it down after payment.

Can I use statement from a different bank account to show POF for study permit after a refusal or must it be statement from the account I used for the first application. The 2 account in question is for the principal applicant.

Finally PPR.
The journey started in October 2022 when I did medicals for UK but the TB x-ray came out with scars in my chest and I was told to do sputum test. Result came out 28th of Dec 2022, 2 came out positive and 1 negative. I had to start treatment for 6 month and didn’t pursue the UK anymore. However, decided to apply for Canada study permit during the end of my treatment in May. I applied for Canada study permit May 31st and got denied June 22nd due to proof of fund even with 26m. Their reason was, I had the money quite alright but my salary cant provide me such huge amount, so I had to reapply and explain I got cash gift a year ago from my dad and showed when it entered my account a year ago. I also went further to get GIC certificate and paid 85% of my school fees since the school didn’t allow me to pay 100%. This was to proof that the money is mine and not for show off as they previously thought. By the way I had to do another sputum for Canada medical and also see a lung specialist to be sure I am perfectly okay. It was an interesting experience of almost a year. I thank God it ended in praise. Thank you @ketima for your advice, thank you @bigsammy for guiding me on GIC and how to draft LOE. Also, thank you @bobomaigida for reviewing my sop. God bless you guys. I hope this helps someone out there.
Submitted August 8 (second application)
Upfront medical July 3 which was completed and submitted 25th of September (changed to reviewing 25th of September
Eligibility review changed 26th of September
PPR 27th of September

Well as for me i never see anyone who denied due to inactive on CAC in Canada visa before, but if it's UK now I will advise you not to try such because my sponsor CAC account is inactive for many years and still gotten my visa.
