Travel / Israel's Attack On Iran Targeted Russia S-300 Air Defence Systems. by AllTheWayUp: 5:41pm On Apr 22 |
Israel used radar-evading missile to hit Russian S-300 defenses near Iran nuke site. NYT says attack was ‘calibrated’ to show Israel’s capability to dodge Iran’s air defenses, make Tehran ‘think twice’ before another assault; The alleged Israeli strike overnight Thursday-Friday on Iranian air defenses near the Natanz nuclear site used a high-tech missile that was able to evade Iran’s radar systems, in a move “calibrated to make Iran think twice” before launching another direct attack on Israel, The New York Times reported on Saturday. Two unnamed Western officials cited by the newspaper said the missile aimed to show Tehran that Israel is able to dodge and neutralize its defenses. Two Iranian officials said the strike hit a Russian-made S-300 air defense system. They told the newspaper that Iran had not detected intrusions into its airspace from drones, missiles or aircraft.Last week, Iran's Isfahan province was hit by drone and missile strikes, reportedly from Israel. The targeted region housed Iran's nuclear facility and air defence systems. While Israel neither confirmed nor denied the attacks, American news agencies attributed them to Israel. This escalation follows Iran's recent multi-pronged attack on Israel using drones, cruise, and ballistic missiles. Analysis of Satellite Images The New York Times and BBC analyzed satellite images of the strike site. The images reveal the absence of the Russian S-300 Surface-Air anti-ballistic missile defence system, which was previously positioned near Isafan International Airport. The latest image from April 19 shows the area devoid of the S-300 system, indicating it was the target of the attack. The system includes radar-equipped vehicles and distinctive missile launchers. https://www.ndtv.com/world-news/israels-attack-on-iran-targeted-s-300-air-defence-system-report-5496901 https://www.nytimes.com/live/2024/04/20/world/israel-iran-gaza-war-news https://www.timesofisrael.com/israel-used-radar-evading-missile-in-strike-on-iranian-s-300-near-natanz-report/ https://m.economictimes.com/news/defence/israel-reportedly-targets-irans-s-300-air-defence-system-in-isfahan-strikes/articleshow/109502110.cms

We have been saying this over and over again, that Russia S300 series anti defense missile is overrated , with the way Ukrainian drones are bypassing Russia airspace and striking various Russian military assets every week..

Politics / Israel bombs Iran overnight by AllTheWayUp: 6:26am On Apr 19 |
Isreali warplanes carried out suprise airstrikes across various locations in Iran, which Iran self made anti defense systems and Russian anti missile S 300 systems were unable to shoot down any of the Israeli warplanes that carried out the airstrikes in Iranian territory overnight. The airstrikes on Iran nuclear sites is similar to Isreal airstrikes on Iraq nuclear reactor in 1981 and Syria nuclear sites in mid 2000s... Explosions were reported inside of Iran while unconfirmed reports indicated multiple Iranian sites were struck by Israel, according to several news outlets. U.S. officials confirmed to CBS News, CNN, and ABC News that the attack was carried out by Israel in response to the recent Iran airstrikes on Israel. A U.S. official reportedly told CNN the targets of the attacks are not nuclear or civilian. The semi-official Iranian Fars News Agency reported explosions near the city of Isfahan in central Iran. The state-run Iranian news agency Press TV also reported explosions in Isfahan. Other unconfirmed reports indicate potential strikes near the cities of Daraa in Syria and Baghdad in Iraq. Flights were being diverted around western Iran early Friday morning local time, according to the Associated Press. It’s not clear what the immediate targets were, but Isfahan is home to Iranian nuclear facilities and sites. Iran warned earlier on Thursday that the targeting of nuclear sites could result in the change of the nuclear “doctrine” in Tehran, which does not have nuclear weapons but possesses enriched uranium and holds the capacity to obtain them. The Israeli strikes will likely inflame tensions even further in the Middle East, which is already embroiled in conflicts in Gaza and in northern Israel and southern Lebanon. Israeli officials pledged earlier this week to respond to Iran, which sent a flurry of some 300 missiles and drones at Israel last weekend. That attack, which was largely defeated by Israeli and allied defense systems, came in response to an alleged Israeli strike near the Iranian embassy in Syria that killed two high-ranking commanders. The Biden administration pushed Israel not to respond to Iran, but Israeli officials were publicly arguing that such a brazen Iranian attack must be answered. Iran, in turn, publicly warned that any Israeli attack would be met with a much harsher response than last weekend’s assault. Foreign Affairs / 50% Of Iranian Missiles Failed To Launch Or Crashed Before Reaching Israel. by AllTheWayUp: 11:29am On Apr 15 |
The US officials noted that Iran has launched around 115 and 130 ballistic missiles that were intended to target Israel As the world continues to navigate through the ongoing Iran-Israel tensions, reports are emerging that roughly 50 per cent of Iranian missiles either failed to launch or crashed before reaching Israel during the late Saturday attack. Source: Reuters As the world continues to navigate through the ongoing Iran-Israel tensions, reports are emerging that roughly 50 per cent of Iranian missiles either failed to launch or crashed before reaching Israel during the late Saturday attack. While giving an update on the attack, three US officials told The Wall Street Journal that Iran’s attack using its ballistic missiles can not be considered a success because most of them failed to reach Israeli territory. Advertisement The US officials noted that Iran has launched around 115 and 130 ballistic missiles that were intended to target Israel. The officials mentioned while half of those ballistic missiles were intercepted successfully, the other half “failed in the flight” and did not reach their targets. “So much for the vaunted ballistic missile capability of Iran,” one of the officials exclaimed. Israel incurs relatively low damage Shortly after the attack, the Israeli Defence Force Spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said that Iran fired 170 drones, over 30 cruise missiles and more than 120 ballistic missiles towards Israel. Hagari mentioned that out of the hundreds of launches only “few” crossed into Israel and caused “minor damages” at the Navatim Airbase. The airbase suffered minor damage to its infrastructure located near the runway. While no one died in the attack, a spokesperson for Israel’s Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency service confirmed that a 7-year-old girl was injured by shrapnel from a missile inception. Israel remains divided over retaliation In light of the attack, the Israeli war cabinet on Sunday conducted deliberation for over three hours but did not reach a unanimous decision over how the country would respond to the Iranian attack. An official source from the Israeli prime minister’s office said that while the cabinet is certain that “there will be a response”, they are waiting for the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) to “present options”. The source also told the Israeli news outlet that the cabinet unanimously favours a retaliation against Iran but continues to remain divided over the timing and scale of any such response. World hopes for de-escalation Meanwhile, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s administration is also facing significant international pressure with world leaders urging the authorities to de-escalate the matter. US President Joe Biden and senior members of his national security team sought to contain the risk of a wider regional war and told their Israeli counterpart that the United States would not participate in any offensive action against Iran. In a conversation with the Israeli Prime Minister on Saturday, Biden insisted that further Israeli response was “unnecessary”, CNN reported. The POTUS insisted that Israelis should consider the Saturday incident a win because Iran’s attacks had been largely unsuccessful and demonstrated Israel’s superior military capability. However, during phone calls with British Foreign Secretary David Cameron and French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz maintained that the Jewish nation will continue defending its citizens. I emphasized: Israel, like any other country, is committed to defend its citizens,” said Katz in a post on X. “I told them — it’s your time to weaken the Iranian regime, to proscribe the IRGC as a terrorist organization, and to impose crippling sanctions on the Iranian missile project. Iran must pay a price,” he added. https://www.firstpost.com/world/most-iranian-missiles-failed-to-launch-or-crashed-before-reaching-israel-reveals-us-13759723.html

Iran has no friends among other prospering Middle East countries apart from terrorists groups scattered all over the Middle east being armed and financed by Iran 90% of Middle Eastern countries have never liked Iran from time memorial, same way they hated IRAQ during Sadam Hussain era, when Sadam Hussain was threatening other arab countries and invading Kuwait and firing scud missiles into Israel. Vast majority of the Middle East countries have been waiting for the day Iran will be destabilized, same way they hated Sadam Hussain and Iraq before Iraq was finally destabilized by United States. 5 Likes 3 Shares

If Iran finally plays into Israel and United States trap by striking Isreal with support of its sponsored proxy terrorists groups acrosss Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon and Syria then Iran will be turned to rumbles in less than 1 month similar to what United States did to Iraq some year back and Israel is doing to Palestine. 1 Like |

Jokay07:Even if Russia is not currently occupied in Ukraine. Russia will not assist Iran directly to confront United States in war, it has never happened before. Russia can only supply intel or military equipments to Iran, they will not go into direct conflict with United States. From history all invasion or wars between United States against Russian allies, Russia has never gone ahead to confront United States directly in the battle field in support of their allies. 1 Like |

Foreign Affairs / United States Deploys More Ground Troops and assets To Middle East by AllTheWayUp: 8:11pm On Apr 12 |
Ahead of any attack on Israel by Iran and Iran proxy groups in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine and Yemen, United States has began deploying large number of troops across bases in the Middle East. Over the past one week United States and Israel have been conducting joint warplanes training, US has also moved one of it naval carrier and hundred of warships close to Israeli waters and several US submarines are said to be deployed across the Middle East ahead of of the impending Middle East war. WASHINGTON — The U.S. is moving more troops to the Middle East to prepare for an attack by Iran on Israeli or western interests that could come very soon and without warning, two senior officials said Friday. Iran's leaders have vowed to attack Israel after an airstrike in Damascus on the Iranian embassy compound killed seven Iranians. Iran blames Israel for the attack, while Israel has not acknowledged publicly whether it conducted it. Israeli leaders, however, have warned that they will respond to any military action by Iran. Army Gen. Erik Kurilla, the commander of U.S. Central Command, has been in Israel conferring with officials there about a potential attack, according to the Defense official. On Thursday, the State Department issued a security alert for U.S. government employees in Israel. The security alert noted that incidents can take place without warning and "can change quickly depending on the political situation and recent events." Employees and their families have been restricted from personal travel outside major metropolitan areas in Israel. Also Thursday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken called his counterparts in China, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, asking other countries to "urge Iran not to escalate,” State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said. At the Pentagon, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin conferred by phone with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Austin pledged that the United States would give its full "support to defend Israel against Iranian attacks," according to a readout of the call. One week ago, administration officials had said an Iranian attack was potentially imminent. When that did not happen, an attack after Ramadan had been deemed more likely. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2024/04/12/us-troops-middle-east-iran-israel-strike/73302409007/
