Business / Re: CBN Insists Banks Can’t Pay Dividends From FX Revaluation Gains by allthingsgood: 6:26pm On Mar 15
Validated:
Is CBN confused?

CBN should also tell us if such revaluation can be reported as profits (extraordinary gains).

Would CBN be prevailing on FIRS to exempt those profits from Companies Income Tax?

Would CBN have asked the banks to create a revaluation loss account if the reverse was the case or would they have been asked to write-off such losses?

Is it till the whole country crumbles to pieces that you people will be happy
Must banks always look for every loophole to cash out, at the expense of the economy?

Politics / Re: Accountant-General's Office Holds Workshop In London by allthingsgood: 6:03pm On Mar 13
integrity16:

This is the problem with Nigerians, go and check my previous posts, I haven't spared politicians from criticism for reckless spending of public funds.

There is nothing hypocritical about this, this country isn't only made for politicians and civil servants alone, what about ordinary Nigerians? Who is going to trained them abroad? Let them kuku train everybody abroad now?

As a government, you are crying that you don't have enough resources but you keep spending public funds with reckless abandon and then you have the temerity to mention me and call it hypocrisy?

Some students were abducted few days back, nothing is being done to get them out but our senators are sharing N500M for constituency projects of boreholes in 21st century.

If they want to train themselves abroad, are you telling me that the OAGF cannot afford to train herself abroad? But it must be with tax payers money, for calling me out like this shows you are one of the problems facing this country.

Pleasee go and sleep hypocrite
Did you see OAGF eating money there
Secondly, why should OAGF use her own money to train herself to only to serve you. It is a workers right to be trained by the employer, to improve productivity. Not the worker to train himself to serve the employer.
Finally, na just bad belle de worry una. How many of you will reject being trained abroad by your employer Is nigerian govt (both state and federal) not giving scholarships to people to study abroad. People who often add no value to the system. How much more a civil servant who has served over 20, 30 yrs
Most of u are just angry that its not u that got the opportunity. Its simply the usual naija bad belle syndrome. Go and face your politicians that are looting your money, leave civil servants alone.
All of u should just gerrout

Corruption, the resource persons can't hold the workshop virtually or brought to Nigeria to do it?

You had to pack yourselves to the UK just earn estacodes and incure hotel expenses with tax payers money in foreign currencies.

We are not ready for governance in this country.

So if you are in OAGF wont you like to be trained abroad?
Why are we hypocrtes in this nigeria

You pay the civil servants peanuts, steal their pension, no access to housing, welfare etc. But u expect the same worker to operate optimally and not steal?? smh

Kukutenla:

What exactly is your point
Is this a good thing to you?
I'm sure you're neither productive nor a tax payer which is why you see wastage as a ground for political bickering

Yes it is a good thing
Nigeria needs to invest in capacity building
Your schools dont teach you nothing.
