Will Oshiomhole and his Edo north people back him considering the bad blood from the primary election?

The guy is popular in Edo Central though. He defeated PDP for the first time since 1999 to emerge as senator representing Edo Central. The Benin people of Edo South have no candidate in this election so their votes will be divided depending on the candidate of LP. If Oshiomole can deliver Edo North for him, he may win the election.

forget LP pls

Politics / Re: Why Economic Practice Will Continue To Get Worse. Dollar To Get Up To N2500 by allthingsgood: 8:39pm On Feb 22
Beautifulday:

Please stop talking rubbish. Who are those buying the imaginary dollar? People without jobs?

The dollar in the country how do we get it? Let start from there.

It doesn't fall from heaven. We get it by transacting with other nations. As a citizen of a America, there is limited amount of dollar you can carry around and their is a limited denomination you can carry too. The same applies to euro, pounds, etc.

There is shortage of dollars because we have nothing to sell to other countries that will bring in more dollars than we need.

Tinubu is partly the problem.

He has so much bad reputation internationally that no serious investor would come in with dollar to invest in our economy.

When you talk about greed. How many people you know in person in your street that has bought dollar in the last six months?

Let me ask you. When last did you buy dollar abi you no be human being?

This here is the problem of nigeria
High irresponsibbility
You are not ready to accept the truth staring u in the face.
You have been blaming all the Presidents since 1999. Una mumu never do?
No worry na, dollar will soon reach 3k. Rice will be 150k before u grow sense.

Why are Europeans not hoarding dollar, why are Ghanians not hoarding dollar ?

Because it is not attractive to hoard, it is their governments that worked to make it so, even Nigerians who are hoarding the dollar here travel to these countries and will not hoard dollars there because it is not attractive to do....

The Nigerian government has failed in that aspect....

They are not hoarding because the are not greedy and irresponsible like u nigerians
They put their country above selfish gains

Tinubu is the problem. If Tinubu steps down today, everything will begin to get better. As long as Tinubu is in Aso Rock, all the principalities and powers will focus solely on Nigeria. This is because he was not elected. Simple. Argue with your God if you like.

$1 will hit N5000. Hence Tinubu should step down to save Nigeria.
Do not ask me why.

U said this about Jonathan, Buhari and now Tinubu. Una mumu never do

Well, after writing all these, I don't think you know the problem of Nigeria, the same Nigerians will travel abroad and add value to the country there and they are not looking for dollars to buy and keep over there even in countries that don't spend dollars, Nigerians don't hoard food too over there...

So your points are pointless, it tells you the government is doing the wrong things that is making the citizens do what they are doing.

Who will want to hoard dollar if the naira is steady and makes gains against the dollar from time to time....

Who will want to keep food that will probably spoil if kept too long or there is surplus production from other farmers that makes the price competitive for buyers...

You guys just come out and type rubbish to defend the nonsense governments you people vote into office....

Keep deceiving yourself and be hoarding
Dollar will soon pass 2000

Nigeria's economy is only going to get worse

No matter the policy of the government, nothing will work

The only way for Nigeria to come out of economic crisis for for Nigerians to repent and retrace our foot steps.

Tinubu is not the problem of Nigeria. The problem of Nigeria is Nigerians!

The level of our greed and wickedness is in direct proportion to the decline of the economy.

Our pastors, imams, prophets are all fake and have completely lost all touch with morality.

Take the dollar for instance. The only reason dollar can never go down is because Nigerians are buying it in bulk and keeping it under the bed, in hopes that naira will continue to fall and they get richer. But the same nigerian will come online to criticize Tinubu for not bringing dollar down.

Is it cost of food items? Farmers are now hoarding food items waiting for the price to rise even more so that they will get richer. Yet the same people will cry that the economy is collapsing.

Everybody wants Tinubu to do magic, but we still want to remain greedy, irresponsible and unpatriotic.

Suffer never starts!

I knew that tinubu will be bad but my expectations were that things will just be static as they were during buharis time with no improvement. My expectations were things would still deteriorate but very slowly. If you had told me last year that one dollar will be exchanging for 2000 naira I would say you were lying.

Tinubu hasn't even spent 10 months and my sister got 108 usdt on kucoin for 200k. Traders on binance aren't selling usdt. Rumour has it that CBN is trying to control the usdt/ngn pair. This Is gonna end very badly.

I talk to my family and men it's not funny. People are talking of 2027. Can Nigeria survive tinubu till 2025 without violence breaking out in all parts and people doing savage things to survive.

Tinubu was acting with bold braggadocio when he was sworn in, but we knew nothing dey him head.

I support subsidy removal or the removal of the corruption in subsidy, but the way he went about it showed he had no love for the masses.

Making utterances without understanding the consequences. It's been suffering since day 1 of his presidency and the worst is yet to come.

The funny thing is that 90% of those complaining have dollars hidden in their houses. Infact they are buying dollars in hopes that the naira will fall more and they will be richer. But still come online to blame Tinubu. smh. Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria

I believe EFCC is going down a very treacherous road in declaring this man wanted.
I just read on another thread where some legal luminaries where advising Asiwaju to find a way of resolving this Mambilla issue and EFCC decides to declare one of the parties involved wanted, this is a project that has been held up for more than 15 years.
Asiwaju should listen to the counsel of these legal luminaries and settle this issue once and for all.
I have to digress a bit cos I wasn't able to comment on a topic on another thread,it's the issue of government suspending binance operations in Nigeria.
I totally agree with this suggestion, although I'm devout user of binance in buying and selling crypto, but I totally agree that Government must as a matter of urgency sanitize operation on that crypto exchange.
I buy usdt a lot on binanace and also receive from some friends and I'm shocked with the way the Naira is always devalued almost on a per hourly basis.
What's driving the prices on binance, who's the individual that determine the exchange rate of the Naira to any crypto, what algorithm do they use, what economic indices do they follow.
Seriously I suggest if binance can't peg their exchange rate to the official government rate, then they must stop operations in Nigeria.
This crazy economic sabotage by invisible people must stop, like I said I'm user of binance and I have evidence of the funds I receive on the exchange but enough of the manipulation going on.
God bless Nigeria........
