My Background Check got completed last week but not reflected on my portal yet. Don't know why Nairobi is so slow in my case.

Did you recently travel to the UK, US, Australia, Japan or Schengen. I heard the Background check of people who have traveled to this country helps to reduce the time and complexity of their Background check which takes 80% of the timeline.

Please who has SOWP timeline of late August. I applied Aug 28th, medical passed 1st Sept. and since two months plus it has been on Background Check.

After many mails and web forms pleading for intervention I just got informed by IRCC agents on call that BG is completed and Eligibility is pending (ongoing) which is yet to reflect on my portal. How many more days do I wait as I have already booked my flight for 13th November. The financial implication of changing to a near date (over 500k) is really killing.

Anyone knows what Qatar air charges for flight cancelation for a refund?

So I have a couple of questions I’d like to ask.
My old passport expires in February but I have applied for a renewal. Can I use my old data page to fill out the page and then update to the new data page later on??

Secondly, I was told I can apply now so as to get a date but I haven’t gotten my I-20. Is it possible to apply for a visa date now without getting the I-20? I’m expecting my I-20 by March and school resumes in August.

But in all honesty, it's tough to choose. I'll advise you pick corona. The best growth and high-level of development you will be exposed to will sky rocket your career and put you on all round advancement. Besides, of all schools on the island, corona remains any teachers dream... also greenspring. All the best

Kindly consider Corona, although both schools are good, St Saviour is a typical Nigerian Curriculum school with no secondary school but Corona has from elementary to college of education. If you work well and impress them, you can get trained and move up the ladder as you desire. My opinion
