Also, humans are herbivores. Just look at our teeth. That's all you need to know. Before you talk about incisors, those are not for tearing meat. They're for breaking hard fruits like apples and Co.

I love meat with every fibre of muscle in my body but the truth must be said. The human diet should consist of 80% greens and 20% proteins. If you check all the carnivores on this planet, none of them chew the meat. They swallow whole
You make some valid points but humans are omnivores. we have grinding molars like herbivores, but also canines and incisors that, while modest, are useful for tearing.
Our digestive system is the real tell, we have a relatively short digestive tract with significant stomach acid closer to carnivores than herbivores and we lack the specialized fermentation chambers that true herbivores need to break down cellulose. Cows have four stomach compartments, gorillas have enormous colons. We don't.
The "carnivores don't chew" point is cherry-picked. many omnivores and even some carnivores do chew, and this doesn't tell us much about what humans should eat.

There is an update regarding the payment structure for the Master of Research (MRes) program at the University of Bolton, effective from the September 2025 intake.

New Tuition Fee Collection Scheme:

Deposit: £5,000 (payable in advance)

Payment at Enrolment: £5,000

Balance Payment: The remaining balance, after any applicable scholarship deductions, can be paid either in full or in six equal monthly instalments through a recurring card payment arrangement.

This new scheme is designed to offer greater flexibility to students while maintaining compliance with the University’s financial policies. We encourage all applicants to familiarize themselves with this updated payment schedule and ensure compliance to avoid any disruptions in the enrolment process.
Is it only for Mres Programmes or all programmes?

It is even way more than £50. Getting the GMBPsS, gets you the waiver not to do Msc. Psychology (conversion).

Apply for the Msc. program you are interested in, if they don't request for the GMBPsS then go on.

By the way in the UK, after B.A/BSc. in Psychology + work experience, you don't need a Masters to be eligible for a Doctorate program in Psychology.
Oh nice. Thanks

First apply and get the BPS Graduate Membership, as that gives UK Universities the assurance that your undergraduate degree meets the UK standard, else you will be needed to waste money doing a Msc Psychology.
Thanks

With the 2.1, you are eligible to apply for the Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society while still in Nigeria. If you apply by next week, then you are likely to get the membership by June.

That is a lie.

Msc Psychology (conversion) is for those who are switching from a different field, that is for those who didn't study Psychology at undergraduate level and once one graduate well from an accredited Msc. Psychology program in the UK, he/she will be granted GMBPsS (Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society), eligible to apply for Assistant Psychologist roles in the UK with NHS, schools, prisons, mental health facilities etc.
Thanks Chief. I actually have a B.Sc.. In psychology and am planning to apply. There are other psychology programmes like M.sc Forensic psychology and Health psychology. Are these better than the normal M.sc psychology programmes?

Anyone with a 2.1 in Psychology from a Nigerian university is very likely to be qualified for the Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society then further, with that of Ireland.

I had my undergraduate studies in Counselling Psychology outside the UK and got my Graduate Membership a year before arriving the UK for my postgraduate studies in Clinical Child Psychology.
Will check it out. Thanks

If you feel you are social science inclined and intends to join the May/September/October cohorts, consider opting for a British Psychological Society accredited Msc Psychology (conversion), it is a Msc program for those who didn't study psychology at their undergraduate level.

Upon successful completion of the program, one would be granted the Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS) and would be eligible to apply for Assistant Psychologist roles in the UK and also in Ireland once the person also gets registered by the Psychological Society of Ireland, all the person need to apply, is to provide his/her GMBPsS number and 260 Euros and the processing time is within a month.

Once Psychological Society of Ireland grants their graduate membership (M.Ps.S.I), one will also be eligible to apply for jobs in Ireland that requires the graduate membership as the field of psychology is on Ireland's Critical Skills Occupations List.

Within the UK, there are so many pathways for one with a GMBPsS, once one can really prove he/she is grounded in the field of psychology required at that level. Na psychology give me my current government work for London......now on my second skilled work visa with more offers coming in. cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

Hope this helps someone.
This is cool. Can one with a psychology degree also enroll?

As CBN do not longer subsidise FX, you have to either pay through a funded dollar account via bank transfer or dollar card. Submitting Form A and waiting to get a naira debit for the official rate might make you miss the deadline.
many thanks

That's not form the form A payment pattern. You don'tneed to buy USD from Abokis to utilize form A , the bank sort everything. The only cons with it is that the process is always prolonged if you don't follow it up closely.

You can actually fund a USD debit card to make the payment, but I think the BDC has a limit to the volume of dollars they sell to individuals

I advise you to walk into your bank to make enquiry
Thanks
