Makes perfect sense. Imagine if a new manager came in now and we lose to Madrid and lose more prem games, you know what the fans are like. Be on him straight away. Makes sense to just forget this season and bring in a guy who knows the players and can hopefully steady the ship for a bit.

Same thoughts here.....d season has been destroyed already....we only need someone to steady d ship,, perhaps finish on 7th or 8th position....UCL will be a bonus,,but not possible sha

Sack Potter to appoint Lampard

Based on the work outside Chelsea, Potter at Brighton, Lampard at Everton. Wont it seem that Potter is even the better coach?

Lampards first stint at Chelsea took us to UCL with fringe players...Lampard must have learnt Alot after dat period...I think d management just wants someone to keep d team till d next manager comes ...At least Lampard has handled the team before
